Chapter 1360: Chapter 1375: Tender Moments

"Honey, let’s eat." Haihua’s face still had a hint of blush, looking as tender as a ripe red apple, making one want to take a bite.

"Yeah, to be honest, I am a bit hungry!" Lin Mu nodded and then sat down. The two of them shared the food Haihua brought, all high-nutrition food. Even though it was packed meals, it included chicken, fish, and pork, all top-quality delicacies. This made Lin Mu appreciate Haihua even more; if a woman is considerate, she often earns points from men.

After finishing the meal, Lin Mu felt that life was truly content! Just now enjoying Haihua’s tenderness made the Wolf King, who hadn’t been around women for a long time, feel particularly refreshed!

"Honey, where are we going later?" Haihua asked as she sat beside Lin Mu.

"We’ll be heading to the hospital in a bit." Lin Mu said.

"What are we going to the hospital for?" Haihua asked.

"Of course, to talk to the Tang Sect. By now, Tang Zhilong should be awake. Since he dared to send someone to assassinate me, I must reason with him. Once I’ve dealt with the Tang Sect, I should head back to Wancheng. If you’re willing, you can come back with me to Wancheng. I guarantee it’s more comfortable than your home!" Lin Mu said.

"Sure, sure, I want to go back with you to Wancheng." Haihua clapped her small hands happily but soon pouted slightly, "If I go back to Wancheng with you, what about my dad?"

"Hey, your dad’s a big man, why would he need you to take care of him?" Lin Mu smiled.

"Alright then, since you’re my husband, I guess I have to follow you no matter what. Marry a chicken, follow the chicken; marry a dog..." Haihua suddenly realized her slip and slapped her own mouth, "Look at this mouth of mine, can’t control myself at all. What I should say is, I’ve married a dragon, and a true dragon at that!"

Lin Mu pinched Haihua’s enticing little face, "You’ve got a sweet mouth, but I do like hearing that!"

Thus, Lin Mu and Haihua left the hotel together. Led by Haihua, they arrived at Handan City People’s Hospital. Of course, given the Tang Sect’s power and Tang Zhilong’s condition, they would certainly go to a big hospital for treatment. What are high treatment costs to a wealthy Tang Sect? It’s nothing!

At the hospital, Lin Mu inquired at the front desk about Tang Zhilong’s room, but the young nurse glanced at Lin Mu, then quickly shook her head, saying there was no person by that name.

But this couldn’t deceive Lin Mu, because he had a super sharp Seventh Sense. From the first glance at this young nurse, he felt she was deliberately hiding something. Yes, she was lying. The Tang Sect must have already informed the relevant hospital personnel in advance, maintaining complete confidentiality regarding Tang Zhilong’s condition.

The young nurse lied, but Lin Mu couldn’t resort to forceful methods to threaten her. After all, how could a grown man be rough with a young lady? Others might do such a thing, but as the Wolf Fang Soldier King of the North African Grassland, Lin Mu would never stoop to that!

The inpatient department wasn’t very large, and with Lin Mu’s skills, finding someone wasn’t too difficult. Considering Tang Zhilong’s status, he was certainly in a VIP room, so it was determined he’d be in the inpatient department. Ordinary or general VIP rooms could be excluded, leaving only the special VIP rooms.

So, as long as they could find out the special VIP room, they could find Tang Zhilong.

"Let’s go up and take a look," Lin Mu said to Haihua.

"Mm," Haihua nodded and proceeded upstairs.

"Hey, miss, do you know where the special VIP rooms are in this hospital?" Lin Mu asked.

"Of course I know, I’m quite familiar with this hospital. My dad stayed here before. The top floor houses the special VIP rooms, but getting there isn’t easy. You need a card to access it, and there’s special security." Haihua explained to Lin Mu.

"Alright, let’s go check out the special VIP rooms on the top floor." Lin Mu nodded.

"To the top floor? But you need a card to get there, right? How are we going up?" Haihua asked.

"Ha, don’t forget, your husband can do anything! Let’s go, just trust me!" Lin Mu smiled mischievously.

"Alright then." Haihua responded, holding onto Lin Mu’s arm as they headed to the elevator.

The inpatient building had a total of ten floors. Climbing to the top would be exhausting if they took the stairs, so they made their way to the elevator. Lin Mu took a look, "What’s the difference between these two elevators?"

"The one on the right is a private elevator to the top floor rooms. The one on the left won’t take you to the top floor." Haihua explained.

"Oh, let’s take the one on the right then." Lin Mu said.

"Okay, whatever you say, honey!" Haihua chuckled and held onto Lin Mu’s arm as they walked toward the elevator leading to the top floor.

But just as the elevator opened and they were about to step in, a guy shouted from behind, "Hey, you two, stop." It turned out to be a security guard, and he quickly walked over after calling out.

Lin Mu and Haihua instinctively turned to look at the guard, "What’s the matter?"

"The elevator you need to take is this one, not the other." The guard pointed to the adjacent elevator.

"Haha, aren’t elevators installed for people to use? Why can’t we take it?" Lin Mu smiled arrogantly, looking playfully at the guard.

"This elevator goes to the top floor rooms; you need permission from above to use it," the guard said sternly.

"Oh, I see. In that case, no problem. We’re going to the top floor to see a patient named Tang Zhilong." Lin Mu said with a smile.

The guard was stunned hearing Tang Zhilong’s name. Obviously, many people were aware of who Tang Zhilong was, and with him in the hospital, the staff would certainly know. After all, when a big name is hospitalized, word spreads far and wide despite it being confidential.

"You need a pass to go up there; do you have one?" the guard asked, looking at Lin Mu.

"No, I’m just going up for a look, why would I need a pass?" Lin Mu spread his hands.

"Then I’m sorry! Without a pass, you can’t go up. It’s hospital policy." The guard said to Lin Mu. After all, he was just a security guard. If this person was really a friend of Tang Zhilong, that wouldn’t be someone he could afford to offend.
