Chapter 1354: Chapter 1369: The Strongest Guy

"Cut the crap. Say it. What do you want me to do?" Lin Mu had already figured out what the other guy meant—this was all aimed at him.

"Hehe, I like talking to smart people, saves time. Here’s the deal, if you want to save this Scarface, come to a certain place." the man said.

"Where?" Lin Mu asked.

"Over by the Handan Moat. I’ll be there waiting for you." the man said.

"Fine, I’ll head over right now." Lin Mu said.

"And remember, only you are allowed to come alone. Otherwise you won’t see me, and this Scarface? He’s as good as dead." the man said.

"Got it, I’m on my way." Lin Mu replied, then hung up.

After he hung up, Haihua asked anxiously, "Hubby, what’s going on?"

"We’ve got news about your old man." Lin Mu said.

"Where is he? Hurry up and save him." Haihua said impatiently.

"Relax, he’s not in any real danger for now. Their target is me. They’re using your old man as leverage to threaten me. Looks like they can’t find any other way to deal with me, so they’re pulling this cheap trick. I’ll head over right now and bring your dad back." Lin Mu said.

"Hubby, I’m not at ease. I want to go with you." Haihua said.

"Just wait at home. I’ll be fine. They specifically said I have to go alone. If you come, it’ll just cause extra trouble. And since they want me there, they’ve definitely set things up already. It’ll be a pain to move if I’m dragging you along. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure your old man comes back to you in one piece. Don’t tell me you don’t even believe in your man’s strength anymore?" Lin Mu said.

"Of course I believe you, hubby. Alright then, I’ll wait at home for your news." Haihua said.

"Mm, give me the car keys." Lin Mu said.

Haihua nodded and handed him the car keys. Lin Mu immediately left the Hai Family with them, turned on the GPS, and drove toward the Handan Moat. He wasn’t familiar with the layout of Handan City, so he could only rely on navigation. With the GPS, it was obviously much easier. About ten minutes later, Lin Mu reached the moat.

This was a relatively remote spot in the Handan Suburb, with very few cars passing by. Lin Mu parked the car by the bridge and took a look around. Not a single soul in sight. He had no choice but to dial that mysterious number again. The call connected quickly!

"Where are you? I’m already here." Lin Mu said.

"Hehe, not bad, you really showed up. Walk along the embankment for a bit. There’s a park up ahead, and inside the park there’s a small grove. I’ll be waiting for you there." the other man said.

"Alright, got it." Lin Mu replied, then hung up.

After hanging up, Lin Mu opened the door and got out, following the embankment forward. On the other side of the embankment was a little garden-style park. Lin Mu went down off the embankment and headed that way. There were streetlights in the park, casting a pale yellow glow. It wasn’t too dark.

He passed through a small grove up ahead and came to a circular little plaza, kind of like one of those fountain squares.

Over at the plaza, a few figures were pacing back and forth. A couple of them had cigarettes dangling from their mouths. They clearly weren’t the harmless type. At a time like this, no normal person would be hanging around here.

Lin Mu walked over without bothering to hide who he was. As they drew closer, he saw Scarface tied to a thick post with rope, with two Lanzai watching him from the side.

Lin Mu could also feel a killing chill in the air around him. He knew these guys were not your average street punks. They were clearly on the full-blown bandit level.

"Your bro’s here." Lin Mu walked out from the grove and stepped onto the plaza. "You grandsons got something to say, then spit it out. If you gotta fart, fart quick!"

Immediately, everyone around the plaza turned their eyes on Lin Mu, but none of them came closer.

"Hehe, you really do keep your word." A gloomy voice drifted out, though the person himself didn’t appear. The voice was full and powerful, clearly belonging to someone with deep Inner Strength, a Cultivation Master. And Lin Mu actually couldn’t locate the man just by his voice. That was unexpected. Being able to slip past Lin Mu’s razor-sharp Seventh Sense meant this guy was extremely dangerous.

"Since I’m already here, no need to play ghost and pretend to be some sneaky bastard. Hurry up and show yourself." Lin Mu said with a grin. His expression looked calm, but he was on full alert. He knew tonight wasn’t going to be as easy as it sounded.

Sure enough, the next second there was a swoosh, and a lightning-fast figure burst out from the trees, soaring through the air. The speed was insanely fast. If it were a normal person, they absolutely couldn’t track it with the naked eye.

Unfortunately for them, Lin Mu wasn’t normal. He still sensed the guy’s position and aura. Barely a second later, a massive dark shadow appeared in front of him.

"Holy shit, is this a gorilla?" Lin Mu felt his balls tighten at the sight of the shadow in front of him. The guy was wearing a black elastic tank top, and those uneven, bulging muscles were impossible to hide.

If his muscles were brutal, then his overall build was even more jaw-dropping.

Lin Mu felt like the thing standing in front of him wasn’t even human, it was a giant ape. The guy was over two meters tall, about as tall as Yao Ming. Not only tall, but built thick as hell. His upper body was over a meter wide. Calling this guy a gorilla wasn’t exaggerating at all—his size looked even bigger than an Asian chimp. He was basically a real-life King Kong ape!

"Damn, is this some kind of human-ape hybrid or what? There’s actually such a freakishly jacked mutt walking around?" Lin Mu cursed inwardly. This guy’s body was absurdly huge, to the point where it made you doubt your own eyes. How the hell could a normal human grow like this? Unless his mom went into the forest and got done by a gorilla or something...

And what was even more unbelievable was that this guy was that fast, agile like a jungle ape. With such a thick, heavy, monstrous frame, it was hard to connect him with that blur of speed from just now.

How terrifying was this guy exactly? Usually, being big and strong isn’t always an advantage, because big guys tend to be slower to react and move. But when someone that huge also moves fast, that’s some full-on perverted-level advantage. Like James in the United States NBA—blazing speed and insane bulk, which is why he’s hailed as the number one man in today’s basketball world!

The man in front of him made Lin Mu just as impressed. Lin Mu had seen plenty of strong guys before, but never one this fast and this jacked at the same time. This level of bulk had already crossed into pervert territory—no, super pervert. A body this huge paired with speed that fast really made your balls ache just looking at him!
