Chapter 1334: Chapter 1349: Stabbed in the Back
"Miss, you’re back." As Haihua entered, Erwa immediately stepped forward and called out.
"Erwa, why are there so many people? Are we going to war?" Haihua asked.
"The situation definitely feels like it’s about to go to war, but don’t worry, Master Sun’s power isn’t as strong as ours. Taking them down will be easy," Erwa said.
"Alright, then hurry up and call Uncle Sande, have him bring people over. We don’t have enough people here," Haihua said.
"Don’t worry, Boss, older brother has already given orders, Sande will bring people over soon. When that happens, Master Sun won’t dare utter a word. I think he’s crazy, knowing his power can’t match ours, yet still bringing people over here. It’s suicide," Erwa stated.
"Alright, I’ll go in and take a look first. You stay here and keep watch," said Haihua, then opened the door and entered the Hai Family’s gate.
"Dad, I’m back!" Haihua walked into the living room cheerfully.
In the living room, Brother Scar was chatting with Master Sun, with two bodyguards standing behind him. Despite the circumstances, the atmosphere didn’t seem overly tense.
"Haihua’s back, come on, come greet Master Sun, quickly call him Master Sun!" Brother Scar playfully waved Haihua over.
"Master Sun." Haihua stepped forward and called out.
Master Sun nodded satisfactorily, "Haihua, now that you’re back, I’ll cut to the chase. Did you take all the cars from Chicken Crown’s race track?"
"Master Sun, I didn’t take Chicken Crown’s cars. He gambled them away to me. Didn’t Chicken Crown tell you that?" Haihua looked at Master Sun and said, though outwardly respecting him, she didn’t truly regard him highly.
"Chicken Crown told me everything, I’m clear on this matter. It’s just around a dozen cars! Actually, I don’t mind, but I’m here for a reasonable explanation and a simple apology from you," Master Sun said while smoking.
"Master Sun, are you joking? I didn’t do anything wrong, why should I apologize to you? I lost a lot of stuff to Chicken Crown before, and he never came to my house to apologize," Haihua retorted with a grin, her words making Master Sun speechless.
Hearing Haihua’s words, Master Sun’s expression turned sour. He looked at Brother Scar, "Brother Dao, is this how you raise your daughter? Although I call you Brother Dao, that doesn’t mean I’ll forgive her rudeness. She’s your daughter, and talking to an elder like me with such disrespect. Is this proper?"
"Hehe, Old Sun, your words are misplaced. In my eyes, I’ve never considered you significant! What do you even count for against my daughter?" Brother Scar disdainfully replied.
This time, Master Sun’s face changed, "Brother Scar, it seems we have to clash today?"
"Clash? With your little entourage, you dare to clash with me?" Brother Scar retorted coldly.
"Oh really? Are you so sure you can outplay me?" Master Sun asked with a cold smile.
"Old Sun, you were oppressed by me, Brother Scar, when you were young, and now even when you’re old, you’ll still be oppressed by me. You’ll never turn the tables in your lifetime," Brother Scar said.
"Alright then, today I’ll show you how to turn the tables. I’ve tolerated you long enough; it’s time to end this," Master Sun replied with a cold smile.
At this moment, the door was pushed open again, Erwa stepped forward and said, "Brother Dao, Brother Sande is here."
"Good, let him in," Brother Scar nodded.
A short but very strong man walked in, this person was Brother Scar’s trusted comrade, Sande, who played a significant role in Brother Scar’s empire in Handan City.
"Lao San, come in," Brother Scar beckoned to Sande.
Sande nodded, walked in, and sat on the sofa.
"Brother Dao." Sande greeted Brother Scar after sitting down.
Brother Scar nodded, "Lao San, Master Sun wants to clash with us. Why don’t you take some people to greet him?"
Sande glanced at Master Sun sitting next to him and said to Brother Scar, "Sorry Brother Dao, I am now one of Master Sun’s men."
Brother Scar frowned, "What did you say?"
"Haha, Brother Scar, are your eyes failing you, and now even your ears don’t work? Brother Sande is now my ally, not yours," Master Sun laughed on the sofa.
Brother Scar stared at Sande and coldly asked, "What does that mean?"
"Brother Dao, I’ve followed you for years. Although you saved my life once, I’ve risked my life for you several times. We’re even now, neither owes the other. So, I’m now with Master Sun," Sande coldly said.
"Haha, it’s funny, isn’t it?" Brother Scar suddenly laughed bitterly to himself, "I may not have done many good deeds, but I’ve been loyal to you. Yet, I never expected you’d stab me in the back!"
"Brother Dao, Brother Dao, it’s not good, outside..."
"No need to say." Brother Scar interrupted the frantic Erwa, realizing his men were surely subdued by Master Sun and Sande’s team.
Master Sun’s force was already strong, and with the addition of Sande’s capable men, the combined power could undoubtedly subdue Brother Scar.
"Hehe, so it was premeditated, didn’t expect it. Just say it, what do you want?" Brother Scar lit a cigarette and smiled.
"Brother Dao, you are indeed smart. I enjoy talking to smart people. They naturally understand without needing explanation. What I want is simple—just sign over all your assets to me. Of course, I’ll leave you enough for you and your daughter to live comfortably for the rest of your lives," Master Sun said, looking at Brother Scar.
Brother Scar coldly laughed as he listened to Master Sun, "Hehe, you want my assets?"
"That’s right, it’s that simple," Master Sun nodded.
"Dream on." Brother Scar suddenly shouted coldly, his attitude turned uncompromising, "Don’t even think about getting my assets."
Master Sun wasn’t in a rush despite Brother Scar’s words but instead smiled, "Brother Dao, I think your daughter is quite beautiful. I hope you won’t force me to do something I dislike."
