Chapter 461: Fighting A strong Monster (2)
Darkness gathered above his open palm. It didn’t rise the way normal mana did, didn’t shimmer or spiral cleanly.
It pulled inward, from the air, the he used his ability Death’ Darkness. Pure dakrness formed in air and came in front of his palm.
Collapsing toward a single point above his hand as though the world around him was being slowly swallowed.
A magic circle materialized above his palm. Multiple rings, layered and rotating at different speeds, etched with void symbols that pulsed like something alive.
The mana in the surrounding area began to react to it, trembling at the edges, bending slightly toward the gathering darkness.
Even the monster registered it.
The creature turned, slowly, something that might have been instinct pulling its attention toward the threat forming behind it.
A black sphere took shape above Amon’s hand. Dense and small and absolutely still at its center, surrounded by distorted air that bent the light around it in wrong, unnatural ways.
The darkness inside it was not calm — it was compressed, packed so tightly that the space around the sphere simply stopped behaving correctly.
The Pure Drarkness used from his ability increased and enhance the spells fire power more.
It pulsed once. Like a heartbeat. Amon’s eyes fixed on the creature.
He pulled his arm back. Then thrust his palm forward.
And like a threw,the sphere shot forward.
[Devouring Sphere]
It crossed the battlefield in near silence while leaving behind distorted black trails in the air.
Its speed was terrifying.
The monster reacted immediately.
ROOOOARRRR!!
The creature opened its enormous mouth wide while a bright glow suddenly bloomed deep inside its throat.
Mana gathered rapidly.
The surrounding earth trembled.
Then—
BOOOOOOM!!
A massive beam erupted from the monster’s mouth and shot directly toward the incoming sphere.
Both attacks collided head-on.
An explosive sound echoed throughout the entire forest.
But something horrifying happened the moment the black sphere touched the beam.
The Devouring Sphere began swallowing the mana inside the beam itself.
The bright attack weakened visibly.
The beam became unstable as portions of its mana were consumed directly by the darkness orb.
Then the sphere exploded loudly through the night forest.
BAAAAAAAAAAM!!
Darkness erupted outward violently.
The explosion shook the surrounding forest while shockwaves spread in every direction, uprooting trees and shattering the ground apart.
Both Amon and the monster were pushed backward several steps from the force.
"Dammit its stronger than I expected." He muttered.
Dust and smoke exploded across the battlefield. It covered the sight for both Amon and monster.
But Amon did not waste even a single moment.
The instant the explosion occurred.
He moved as fast as possible.
BOOM!!
The ground shattered beneath his feet as he dashed toward the monster from the side at terrifying speed.
At the same time.
The hatchet floating nearby suddenly spun violently through the air as Amon controlled it remotely using his shadow ability.
The darkness-covered weapon curved through the smoke toward the monster once more.
But that was not all.
A small drop of blood suddenly emerged from Amon’s body. The blood floated briefly in the air before expanding instantly.
Two long blood spears formed from it.
They were sharp and dense.
Pure crimson color.
FWOOOSH!!
The blood spears shot toward the monster from another direction simultaneously.
At this moment, the monster’s vision was partially blocked by the dust and darkness from the explosion.
Still it sensed danger approaching rapidly.
Meanwhile, Amon could still perceive the creature clearly despite the smoke and debris.
The monster’s massive body made it impossible to fully hide.
Also he already was aware about the position of monster which helped him to attack it better.
And Amon’s senses had become far sharper after reaching Master Rank.
The monster tried to move immediately. But it couldn’t.
SHAAAA!!
Multiple shadow hands suddenly burst upward from the ground beneath it.
Dark shadow arms wrapped tightly around both its enormous legs while darkness mana reinforced their grip.
The monster roared furiously while trying to pull free.
The ground cracked beneath its strength. At the same time, the spinning hatchet finally arrived.
Amon thought it might hit the monster.
But he was wrong. The creature was in no mood to accept its defeat this fast.
The creature swung one claw instinctively.
CLANG!!
The claw deflected the hatchet away at the last second.
But that slight delay was enough. The blood spears had already arrived over it. They were sharp and strong. Even to tear inside its thick skin.
SLASH!!
And it did tear iside.
Dark blood exploded outward. One blood spear pierced deeply into the monster’s ribs while the second stabbed directly through its thigh.
ROOOOOOAAAAARRRR!!
The creature screamed loudly in pain. Its enormous body trembled violently from the pain it was feeling. It was agonizing.
But the moment the blood weapons entered the monster’s body.
Amon noticed something. His eyes widened slightly and the new capabilities of this blood manipulation ability.
"...I can still control it."
The blood from which weapon had formed, it belonged to him.
He used that small drop of blood and with use of mana it was expanded. These was used of his blood element. He had learn it from Scarlett.
But now when he sense something amusing, which meant, even after entering the monster’s body.
He could still manipulate it. A dangerous grin slowly spread across Amon’s face.
Without hesitation, he clenched his open palm tightly into a fist.
The blood spears dissolved instantly inside the creature’s body.
Then the blood moved. Directly inside its flesh from the wound those weapons had made.
The monster suddenly froze. Its glowing eyes widened.
Amon’s voice echoed coldly through the battlefield.
"Let’s fucking do it!!!"
The blood inside the creature instantly transformed.
SHKKKK!!
Sharp blood spikes erupted violently outward from inside the monster’s body. One exploded outward through its ribs. Another burst through its thigh.
Dark blood sprayed everywhere while flesh tore apart from within.
ROOOOOOARRRRRRR!!
The monster let out a horrifying scream filled with agony.
Its massive body finally lost balance.
BOOOOM!!
The creature collapsed heavily onto the ground while the surrounding earth trembled violently.
It’s breathing was ragged and voice filled with pain.
