Chapter 671: Chapter 629: As You Wish! (3)

RUMBLE!

The load-bearing pillar, so thick it would take two adults with outstretched arms to encircle it, crumbled completely under the werewolf leader’s unstoppable charge. As stone chips flew, the entire lounge filled with dust. After skidding backward for several meters, the werewolf leader finally came to a halt.

"Come on, continue. You have no choice," Qin Fan said indifferently, looking at the dust-covered werewolf leader.

"That’s right! I have no choice! The werewolf lineage knows no fear of death and never surrenders! Fight!" came the fierce reply.

The werewolf leader stomped hard on the ground. With a thunderous rumble, the floor beneath him caved in. Seemingly oblivious to pain, he lunged forward once more, the ground terrifyingly collapsing with every step. In the blink of an eye, the lounge was reduced to ruins.

His massive arms swept out, unleashing gusts of wind that carried infinite Beast Strength! The defiant, sweeping strike seemed intended to lock down all of Qin Fan’s escape routes.

Yet, Qin Fan dismissed this so-called blockade with a smile. He twisted his wrist, clenched his fist, and with a ghostly sidestep, slammed his punch directly into the werewolf leader’s chest.

The fist was packed with True Qi. The moment it struck the werewolf’s chest, the Ninth Layer Inch Force erupted in a series of explosive, overlapping bursts.

BANG!

BANG, BANG!

BANG, BANG, BANG!

Nine consecutive bangs erupted from the werewolf leader’s chest. On the final sound, his formidable body was sent flying from Qin Fan’s fist.

BOOM!

When his mountainous body smashed into the ground, it cratered deeply upon impact with a thunderous crackle. The floor deeply caved in, forming what looked like a Heavenly Pit, and the werewolf leader’s body was deeply embedded within it.

WHOOSH!

However, the pain-immune werewolf leader had barely landed in the massive pit he had created before he sprang back up in the blink of an eye.

"This place is too restrictive. Let’s take this outside!" With a hoarse, piercing growl, the werewolf leader charged out without waiting for a reply, smashing through a solid wall with his body. He knew that regardless of whether he could defeat Qin Fan, he couldn’t unleash his full power in the lounge. His immense physique was simply too constrained in such a narrow space.

"As you wish."

Following the werewolf through the gap in the wall, Qin Fan emerged with a cold expression.

It was the middle of the night. A full moon hung high in the sky, shedding its pure, luminescent glow upon the land. As the moonlight washed over the werewolf leader, a silvery-white light began to radiate from his body.

HOOOOWWWWL!

Feeling his power surge and multiply, the werewolf leader couldn’t help but throw his head back and howl at the moon. If the previous transformation had merely expanded his physique, then the glow of the full moon was triggering an even more powerful change within him.

Werewolves and moonlight—the two were inextricably linked. For their kind, moonlight had always been a boon that made them twice as formidable, and the light of a full moon was especially precious.

Looking up at the sky, Qin Fan stated coolly, I almost forgot. The stories always say a werewolf’s power peaks under the full moon. Still, he wasn’t worried.

How much stronger can he really get? In Qin Fan’s eyes, the creature posed no real threat. He wasn’t trying to end the battle quickly; he simply wanted to use this opportunity to learn more about this strange species.

「Somewhere in Jinling」

When the werewolf leader unleashed his Wolf Breath without reservation, the members of the Guardian Institute gathered in their temporary headquarters were immediately shocked.

"Damn it, what is this presence?" one member exclaimed in horror.

"Shit! Is this Beast Breath? Wolf Breath? Has a Russian werewolf snuck in? Fuck! If that’s true, we’ve seriously dropped the ball!" another member yelled in alarm.

"The presence is coming from Nanjing Avenue! Go! Hurry over there!" a squad leader, who had been sitting in a Taishi Chair holding a narrow-spouted teapot, suddenly snapped his eyes open.

At his own shout, he frantically set down the teapot and shot out from the Taishi Chair like an arrow loosed from its bow. If a Russian werewolf was truly wreaking havoc here, the consequences would be dire.

The other members no longer hesitated. Following their leader, they took off at speeds the naked eye could barely follow.

「On Nanjing Avenue」

Basking in the unending supply of nourishing energy from the moonlight, the werewolf leader felt a desperate hope for survival surge within him. His massive wolfish body moved with lightning speed, darting about to launch wave after wave of attacks at Qin Fan. Freed from the confines of the building, he leaped about, his movements reminiscent of King Kong. Under the moonlight, his speed, strength, and explosive power had fused into one.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The ground continued to crater under his feet. Parked cars were smashed into piles of scrap metal. Moving at speeds invisible to the naked eye, he was less a creature and more a mobile hill.

The werewolf leader snatched up two cars and hurled them effortlessly at Qin Fan, his own body leaping explosively right behind them. His maw gaped open, revealing tusks that gleamed with a cold, dazzling light under the moon. He lunged for Qin Fan’s head, intent on sinking those long, sharp tusks into his skull.

Although it was a winter midnight with few pedestrians, the streets weren’t empty, especially with several bars scattered nearby. The terrifying commotion drew many people out to see what was happening.

When they saw the battle between the werewolf leader and Qin Fan, their first reaction wasn’t fear. Instead, they excitedly pulled out their phones and started recording, thinking it was a movie being filmed.

"Holy crap, when did they start filming *Planet of the Apes* here?"

"Huh, that doesn’t really look like King Kong, though. It’s shaped like a wolf."

"Idiot, they’ll fix it in post-production with special effects!"

"Wait, where’s the film crew and all the equipment?" one of the more observant people pointed out, noticing something was amiss.

But before they could make sense of it, the Guardian Institute squad arrived in a frantic sprint. They were shocked to see a crowd of onlookers, even at this late hour.

"A few of you, disperse the crowd! The rest of you, lock this area down, now!" the squad leader ordered, his brow deeply furrowed in alarm. Without another moment’s delay, he rushed toward the battle.
