Chapter 655: Chapter 613: Tell Me, How Do You Want to Play! (3)
An hour. It wasn’t particularly long, yet not particularly short either.
For the spectating students, it felt like an eternity. Their constant glances at the clock were proof enough of their impatience.
Amidst the storm of this declaration of war that swept through Jinling University, no one would have guessed that Lord Fan was snugly asleep in his bed.
BUZZ. BUZZ. BUZZ.
BUZZ. BUZZ. BUZZ.
An urgent buzzing suddenly vibrated from the bedside.
Without even opening his eyes, Qin Fan reached out, grabbed his phone, and answered.
"Hey, Fourth Bro, where are you? Damn it, Third Bro and I just heard you’re going to raid their clubs! Wait for us, we’re on our way back! We’re outside campus now, rushing back!" Zhu Houqing’s excited voice blurted out over the phone.
Even though Qin Fan had challenged several clubs at once, Zhu Houqing wasn’t worried at all. He knew well that Qin Fan wouldn’t let himself be embarrassed. If he dared make such bold statements, he definitely had the confidence to back them up. Besides, in all the time they had known each other, had Qin Fan ever tasted defeat? Last time, he single-handedly made fools of the students from the Alliance Army on the basketball court. Would such an exceptional person make a reckless boast only to be humiliated?
Nonsense!
"What time is it?" Qin Fan asked with a genuine smile.
"Ah, it’s 5:20 p.m. Why?" replied Zhu Houqing.
"Ten more minutes. We’ll head out then! Hurry back! I won’t wait for you if you’re late. That’s all!"
With a laugh, Qin Fan ended the call. He didn’t go back to sleep, instead getting up to freshen up, change into a refined outfit, and neatly style his hair.
At 5:29 p.m., he opened his door to find the seventh-floor corridor already packed with people.
The moment they saw Qin Fan step out, the crowd immediately began to chant fervently, "Lord Fan!"
Taken aback by the commotion, Qin Fan couldn’t help but shake his head with a wry smile.
"Big Brother, are we heading out now?" Li Yunzhe stepped forward and asked excitedly.
"Let’s go!" Qin Fan said with a casual smile as he adjusted his collar. With that, he started walking through the path the students had conscientiously cleared.
"Lord Fan is mighty!"
"Lord Fan is mighty!"
"Lord Fan is mighty!"
As Qin Fan walked on, the students along the entire seventh-floor corridor erupted into frantic cheers once more. They followed uproariously behind him all the way down. To the uninitiated, it might have seemed like they were shooting a Hong Kong gangster movie from the nineties.
Descending from the seventh floor, Qin Fan was utterly stunned by the scene outside. The dormitory complex had become a sea of people.
A young man spotted Qin Fan and quickly approached him.
"Lord Fan, I’m the president of the Martial Arts Club!" the young man said, his tone eager and fawning.
"Right," Qin Fan replied with a faint smile. "Follow me. We’re going to smash those crappy clubs’ signboards. If there’s any compensation for damages, just put it on my tab."
"No, no, no, Lord Fan! The Martial Arts Club has its own funds! We’re just smashing their signs. It won’t cost much!" the president of the Martial Arts Club quickly responded.
"Alright then. Let’s go!"
With that, Qin Fan strutted off. Everyone subconsciously avoided walking ahead of him, instead merging into the swelling crowd behind. The procession moved with a spontaneous and astonishingly harmonious order.
After Qin Fan left the dormitory complex, a panting Zhu Houqing and Wang Dalu finally ran back. Catching their breath, they greeted the proudly smiling Qin Fan. "Dammit, Fourth Bro, why didn’t you tell us about such a big event? We almost missed it! The Boss was going to rush back too, but something urgent came up, and he couldn’t make it!"
"It was a spur-of-the-moment idea! It’s just a club raid, nothing worth making a big fuss about! Come on, we agreed on an hour. Let’s not keep those bastards waiting," Qin Fan said with a laugh, patting their shoulders.
Then he continued on his way, walking proudly at the head of an imposing group that now numbered in the thousands.
Whether they were freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors, everyone followed excitedly. The chanting had stopped. Now, the only sound was their collective footsteps. Blood boiling with excitement, everyone had spontaneously fallen silent.
"By the way, where is the Taekwondo Club?" Suddenly, Qin Fan stopped, turned back, and asked the president of the Martial Arts Club.
This question nearly made the president spit blood.
Dammit! His Lordship doesn’t even know where the Taekwondo Club is, and he’s going to raid it?
Of course, he didn’t dare say that out loud. He quickly stammered, "Lord Fan, I’ll lead the way!"
With that, he quickened his pace and started walking ahead.
From the dormitory area to the Taekwondo Club at a corner of the campus wasn’t too far, but with his casual, leisurely stride, Qin Fan still took about ten minutes to get there.
By this time, a crowd had already gathered outside the Taekwondo Club, all students who had arrived early to spectate. As for the members of the Taekwondo Club, they were all assembled inside, waiting for Qin Fan to walk into their trap.
"Lord Fan!" Seeing the staggering and formidable procession, the students outside the Taekwondo Club spontaneously shouted in unison.
"Yeah, make way, please! Let’s make this quick, then it’s on to the next one!" Qin Fan nodded with a casual, unassuming smile.
Then, as the crowd parted, he led the way inside.
An entourage of over a thousand people obviously couldn’t cram inside, and the students were well aware of this. Apart from the members of dorm rooms 708 and 709, only the Martial Arts Club members followed him in.
"Hey, everyone, don’t worry! I’m live-streaming the whole thing! Search for my ID on the campus streaming platform to watch! My ID is ’Young Master Zhe of Jinling’!" Li Yunzhe, who was following close behind Qin Fan, didn’t forget to turn back and shout.
At his shout, countless students immediately took out their phones.
Zhu Houqing shot Li Yunzhe a look, then laughed and cursed, "Dammit, that jerk is just trying to show off and scam for gifts again!"
"Haha, Brother Qing, this move of mine is flawless, right? We’ll split the gift money three ways. I know the Boss definitely looks down on this chump change, so we three bros can just take care of it!" the thick-skinned Li Yunzhe whispered cheekily.
He then turned back and shouted again, "Fellow descendants of Huaxia, if you think the scene is exciting and gets your blood pumping, don’t forget to send some gifts to Young Master Zhe!"
As he spoke, Qin Fan was already stepping into the Taekwondo Club. Seeing this, Li Yunzhe didn’t wait for a response, quickly turning on his phone’s live stream and following him inside.
Inside the Taekwondo Club, nearly a hundred people were dressed in Taekwondo uniforms, each adorned with a belt indicating their rank. Standing with their hands behind their backs, they were arranged in a large U-shaped formation.
As Qin Fan and the others entered, a foreign student with a black belt stepped forward, a cold smile on his face.
"So, you’re from the Martial Arts Club. Haha! This time, our Taekwondo Club will completely crush your Huaxia Martial Arts Club!" the black-belted foreign student said arrogantly, his eyes sweeping over Qin Fan’s group.
"Cut the crap," Qin Fan said with a dismissive yawn, shaking his head mockingly. "How do you want to do this? Is it going to be all of you ganging up on me, or me taking on all of you?"
