Yin Suxin finally got a chance, looking at Yiyi and complaining, "I advised her several times, but the landlady just wouldn’t listen. I don’t really mind since I’ve been eating this kind of bread and dry food too, but it’s not good for her to be so hard on herself. I’ve noticed she’s lost weight these past few days."
Hearing what Yin Suxin said, Yiyi looked at Yue Jun disapprovingly and said, "Mom, you two will become malnourished like this. You won’t even finish your work before you’re too exhausted to do anything."

But Yiyi didn’t give them any chance to react. She swiftly knocked the men in front of her to the ground; she was in a hurry to get back to make chicken soup for her mother.
Originally, her skills weren’t that good, but after training with Guo Ming, she had made tremendous progress. So dealing with these guys who had nothing but appearances was no trouble at all.
However, when all the men were down, Yiyi realized the situation was different from what she had imagined.
The person surrounded was... a man.
Although this man had long hair and his features were exquisitely beautiful, enough to make one gasp, it was still clear that he was a man.
Yiyi looked at the person in front of her with a puzzled expression, then coughed and asked, "Are you alright? If you are, leave here quickly." After saying that, she turned and left without looking back.
The long-haired man, however, had a smile at the corners of his mouth as he watched Yiyi’s back receding, his eyes full of amusement, "Tsk tsk... saved by a young girl, what a kind-hearted girl."
Once Yiyi’s figure disappeared entirely, the man’s gaze fell on the scoundrels lying on the ground.
His expression then turned cold, with no warmth in his eyes. Only seeing him pass by those people’s sides with ease, the people who were groaning on the ground suddenly fell silent.
Meanwhile, after Yiyi got home, she quickly handled the old hen and started making soup.
While making the soup, she secretly took out some lingzhi and other nourishing herbs from space, though she didn’t dare to use too much. After all, herbs from space had dozens of times the potency of normal ones, so she was afraid of overdoing it.
"Yiyi, just focus on making the chicken soup, leave the rest to me."
Fei Erya had already washed and chopped the vegetables, ready to be cooked.
"Alright, I’ll focus on this pot of chicken soup first, but I’ll prepare the rice as well."
Fei Erya laughed and nodded in agreement.
The two of them worked seamlessly, and soon enough, they had prepared a table full of delicious dishes.
"Mom, Aunt Yin, it’s time to eat."
After bringing out the final pot of chicken soup, Yiyi went to call everyone for dinner.
When Ding Yuejun and Yin Suxin arrived at the dining room, they were both surprised by the abundance of food.
"Yiyi, you’ve prepared way too much."
Yiyi quickly laughed and said, "Aunt Yin, it’s not too much at all. Even if we can’t finish it, we can save some for dinner. Besides, you and Mom really need the nourishment." With that, she served both of them the chicken soup, then served a bowl each for Fei Erya and herself.
"Try it; I’ve been simmering this chicken soup for quite some time."
Upon hearing this, they all quickly took a sip.
"Mmm... this chicken soup tastes really good," Yin Suxin sincerely praised, taking another quick sip, "You’ve even added lingzhi and other herbs? I didn’t expect medicinal herb chicken soup to taste this good."
Hearing this, Yiyi smiled and drank several more sips.
Besides the chicken soup, there was scallion oil fish, stir-fried clams, sweet and sour ribs, salt-baked shrimp, and stir-fried greens. Yiyi and Fei Erya continually urged Ding Yuejun and Yin Suxin to eat the dishes.
"Ugh... I’m so full."
