Chapter 211: Ren in Action

How would you react if you bear witness to something as comical as a rabbit, a mouse, or any cute animal fighting? And by fight... It’s not the cute paw clash, but actual power and strength bashes.

The warriors of Senkeht, Forta, and his men had barely recovered from their shock the other day after Bahamut and Gabi’s display, only to experience another one from Ren. Talent wasn’t uncommon in the world, so they could at least get over Bahamut and Gabi in two to three days. But, a bunny?

That was on the level of impossible!

Just how were they supposed to take such a thing as normal?! And from what they were seeing, it was evident that the bunny was the most powerful among Bahamut’s team. This also brought up a silent question.

How was such a monster a pet of the blind boy?

It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that the bunny could go toe-to-toe with the solar wyrm in a fight. Ren wouldn’t win, but the solar wyrm wouldn’t be able to kill him either.

Now to where it all began...

The morning had been full of tension, something which was becoming common by the hour. This one was especially tense because no one knew what the tier 3 beast would throw at them. Hakim, Risa, and Forta could locate the beast and confront it directly, but what was the possibility that such an intelligent beast wouldn’t take that into consideration?

Unbeknownst to them, they were now treating the beast as human... Which was right, because one wrong move, and everything would be over for them. Even their power as demigods would all be for naught. They couldn’t bring the dead back to life.

They had been attacked again, this time by four different packs of beasts. The packs were wolves, cats, coyotes, and foxes. They were all Tier 1, led by Tier 2 pack leaders, and these ones, despite their sizes, appeared stronger than the rock lions.

And they’d appeared so suddenly that Forta couldn’t react fast. Although he was experienced and managed to gather his men, they were almost late, and the beasts would have breached the destroyed part of the wall when Bahamut and his team appeared.

This time, Bahamut was prevented from participating by the others. Sel decided to help out the archers. Exildra, Alana, and Lily wanted to keep an eye on Bahamut, leaving Gabi and Ren.

And that brought the current situation. Even the swordsmen and spearmen who were battling the beasts couldn’t help but be shocked by the strength of the two, especially the cute bunny that had transformed into a ferocious six-foot-tall bunny with red glowing marks. They couldn’t tell the power Ren was using, apart from the fact that he was a Tier 2 beast.

The battlefield had descended into utter chaos. Dust storms raged across the ruined outskirts of Senkeht while roars, screams, explosions, and the clash of metal echoed nonstop beneath the scorching desert sun.

The four beast packs attacked relentlessly. Wolves lunged in coordinated formations, coyotes moved unpredictably through blind spots, and desert cats leapt across attacks with terrifying agility. And the foxes... The foxes used the heat itself. Small bursts of fire erupted around them as they darted through the battlefield like living embers.

The warriors of Senkeht fought desperately to keep them from breaching the damaged wall section, but despite the danger, most of their attention kept drifting elsewhere.

Toward the gigantic bunny. Ren stood amidst the battlefield with one massive paw resting on the crushed skull of a desert wolf. The six-foot-tall rabbit looked utterly ridiculous and utterly terrifying.

Red glowing markings spread across his white fur like living cracks while his crimson eyes glowed with chaotic amusement.

He slowly cracked his neck.

"You know," he muttered casually. "If humans saw this in those kingdoms, religions would start."

The ground exploded beneath him as three wolves lunged simultaneously, one from the front, two from the sides. They were fast and coordinated, but...

Ren disappeared. The space where he stood folded strangely for a split second, and the wolves collided into each other violently. Before they could recover, Ren appeared above them, his large rabbit foot descending.

BOOOOOOM!

The ground cratered inward. Blood and sand exploded upward together. The three wolves flattened instantly.

A swordsman nearby froze mid-swing.

"What?!"

Another warrior stared blankly.

"Did the rabbit just teleport?"

"I don’t think I want to know."

Meanwhile, Ren flexed his claws dramatically.

"Oh no."

"I’m becoming cool."

A coyote leapt toward him from behind.

Without turning, Ren snapped his fingers. Space distorted. The coyote suddenly appeared several feet to the left instead of where it intended to land. Its confused expression barely lasted a second.

PAH!

Ren’s fist slammed into its face. The beast spun violently through the air before crashing through a sandstone structure. Not far away, Gabi stared briefly.

"Why are you fighting like a delinquent?"

Ren scoffed while grabbing another wolf by the tail.

"Because it’s funny."

He swung the wolf into another beast.

BOOOOOOOOM!

The collision folded both creatures unnaturally. The warriors watching were slowly losing their minds because none of this should have been possible. Spatial abilities were already rare. Extremely rare. But this bunny used them as if it were breathing. And worse, he fought with horrifying instinct.

A fox leader suddenly appeared behind Ren, flames erupting around its jaws. The beast lunged fast enough that most warriors only saw a blur. Ren tilted his head slightly and sighed.

"You know..." The air around him distorted faintly. "...you’re all really bad at sneak attacks."

The fox suddenly froze mid-air. The area around it warped like shattered glass. Its body struggled forward, but space itself refused to let it move properly. Its limbs jerked unnaturally while its fire twisted sideways. Its eyes widened in panic. Ren casually walked up to it and punched.

BOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The compressed spatial distortion exploded outward upon impact. The fox leader flew across the battlefield like a broken cannonball before crashing into a dune far away. It was dead.

Silence spread briefly nearby. Even the beasts hesitated instinctively because Ren’s power felt wrong. It felt as if reality itself was being bent improperly. But it wasn’t even over as the truly absurd part came.

A massive desert cat pounced toward a wounded warrior atop the wall. The warrior turned pale instantly as it was too late to dodge. He was prepared to die, but the cat vanished. The warrior blinked in shock and confusion.

Several meters away, Ren appeared, holding the confused beast upside down by its tail.

"Delivery service," he announced. Then he spun once, twice... three times and launched it into a charging wolf pack.

CRAAAAAAASH!

Bodies exploded apart from the impact.
