Lin Xun nodded. “If I may ask, have any of you ever seen a disciple of Fangchun Mountain during your time here?”
Fangchun Mountain! The black-clad woman and company froze a little before revealing unusual expressions.
“Before I answer your question, may I know what your relationship with Fangchun Mountain is?” the black-clad woman asked.
Lin Xun frankly replied, “I am Lin Xun, the fiftieth disciple of Fangchun Mountain.”
Lin Xun! The other party’s expression changed again. The white-robed man with a high coronet was even visibly taken aback. “So you’re that Lin Xun!”
“You know me?” Lin Xun was surprised.
“Of course we do.” The black-clad woman took a deep breath and said, “To be exact, no one in the Spirit Martial World these days doesn't know you.”
She then proceeded to explain why.
Just over ten years ago, three Law Transcendence Eternals from the Ninth Heaven Domain’s Ye Clan, Panwu Clan, and Xingtian Clan respectively had arrived at the Sea of Fate, bearing with a piece of news: All of the Eternal Divine Clans had been flattened by Lin Xun of Fangchun Mountain! Furthermore, the Zen Sect and the Shaman Sect had also suffered heavy casualties at his hands alone!
This had immediately stirred up the Spirit Martial World and quickly reached the ears of various terrifying existences. Lin Xun’s name thus had become a big deal and known by everyone.
“So it was them...” Lin Xun understood. Back then, only the Ye Clan, the Xingtian Clan, and the Panwu Clan had managed to escape his sweep across the Ninth Heaven Domain. Ten years ago, he had sent the Green Wood Dao Body there again, but unfortunately hadn't been able to find their whereabouts.
It was quite unexpected to hear that these three Eternal Divine Clans had each dispatched an Eternal to this Sea of Fate so early. What had happened in the Eternal True Realm some years ago was bound to have been spread to the old fogeys here as well.

“Fellow Daoist, you still haven’t answered my question." Lin Xun, snapping out of his contemplation, turned toward the black-clad woman.
“Uh.” The black-clad woman immediately cleared her thoughts and said, “As far as we know, the disciples of Fangchun Mountain allied with the Origin Sect and the Spirit Sect after arriving here, and they have been residing on a divine mountain in the central zone since. It’s just that...”
At this part, she looked a little hesitant.
“It’s just that?” Lin Xun asked.
“As someone who personally witnessed this, it's better that I explain,” the thin old man with the huge black sword box spoke up. “Those of the Shaman Sect, the Zen Sect, and the twelve Eternal Divine Clans here hate Fangchun Mountain, but due to the Origin Sect and the Spirit Sect protecting the latter, none of them dared to do anything during the past years.”
He gazed at Lin Xun and continued, “But after they learned of what you did in the Eternal True Realm, a calamity befell the disciples of Fangchun Mountain. Just nine years ago, Zen Sect's Immeasurable Buddha Xinhu rallied a group of experts of the Shaman Sect and the twelve Eternal Divine Clan, and together, they went to the mountain occupied by the Origin Sect. What ensued was a huge battle.”
Hearing this, Lin Xun’s heart tightened and his expression shifted. He took a deep breath and kept on listening.
“That battle lasted for seven long days and was so intense that the world seemed to go dark. The Spirit Sect also got involved, and the entire Spirit Martial World was disturbed.
“According to the news that came out later, two Immeasurable Eternals of the Origin Sect were heavily injured, and two of their Creation Eternals fell during the battle. Quite a few experts of the Spirit Sect also ended up with injuries.
“As for the disciples of Fangchun Mountain, most of them hadn't yet certified eternity at the time and were moved to shelter before the battle started. Only...only the eldest disciple was killed.”
Lin Xun froze, feeling as though something was gripping hard at his heart. Eldest Senior Brother was killed?! How could this have happened?!
His mind was instantly reeling in emotions, unable to calm down.
“Fellow Daoist.” The thin old man glanced at Lin Xun with concern. The latter looked awful right now, emanating a violent aura that seemingly would run amok at any moment.

The thin old man said, “After that battle, the Origin Sect’s territory was reduced to rubble, so they brought the disciples of Fangchun Mountain and moved to the mountain where the Spirit Sect is.
“From the hearsay, their situation doesn't look too optimistic. Besides this, I'm clueless. After all, Creation Eternals like us aren't qualified to be privy to the things going on in the central zone.
The tall man suddenly said, “I did hear that in recent years, the Spirit Sect, the Origin Sect, and the disciples of Fangchun Mountain have been hemmed in at Lotus Leaf Sacred Mountain. After a pause, he resumed, “The twelve Eternal Divine Clans have also taken the same stand, saying they will sooner or later raze Lotus Leaf Sacred Mountain to the ground.”
Hearing this, Lin Xun’s heart seethed with uncontrollable fury, his eyes eerily chilling. How could he not know that it was his sweeping operation in the Eternal True Realm that had caused this? That was why the Shaman Sect, the Zen Sect, and the twelve Eternal Divine Clans had vented their fury on his fellow Fangchun Mountain disciples. Furthermore, the Origin Sect and the Spirit Sect had been made to suffer trying to protect them!
At the mere thought of this, Lin Xun hated that he couldn't just teleport there and kill the enemies immediately. Once this kind of feud formed, each side would seize every opportunity to retaliate.
“Regarding the Shaman Sect, the Zen Sect, and the twelve Eternal Divine clans, what do you know about their forces in the Spirit Martial World?” Lin Xun asked.
The black-clad woman answered, “The Zen Sect's camp is led by Immeasurable Buddha Xinhu, a Greater Boundless Eternal who is said to have survived six Great Silence Unlife Calamities and has unfathomable depths.
“Apart from him, they have three other Immeasurable Eternals who are Xinying, Zhuoxing, and Zhuokong. Xinying has survived four Great Silence Unlife Calamities, and is at the Greater Boundless Realm like Xinhu. Zhuoxing and Zhuokong are Lesser Boundless Eternals, with the former having lived two Great Silence Unlife Calamities and the latter having lived one.
“As for Creation Eternals, the Zen Sect’s camp has as many as eleven...”
After the black-clad woman finished with the situation of the Zen Sect, she moved on to the Shaman Sect.
This camp likewise had four Immeasurable experts. At the head was Shaman Ancestor Leisong, a Greater Boundless Eternal who was said to be the junior brother of their founder Tian Wu. The other three were Wu Hongzi, Tuo Nanfeng, and Xiao He. Each of them was an otherworldly expert that had towered over the heavens and traversed through many epochs.
Aside from that, the Shaman Sect also had nine Creation Eternals.
Having an understanding of all of this gave Lin Xun a sense of gravity, and he completely calmed down. He definitely hadn’t expected such a big number of powerful experts in the Shaman Sect and the Zen Sect!
From this, it could be seen that he really had gotten all the luck on his side to have the perfect opportunity to destroy their bases. All in all, the current Spirit Martial World is reigned by the Zen Sect, the Shaman Sect, and the twelve Eternal Divine Clans, who are firmly occupying the most favorable areas in the central zone.”
Lin Xun couldn’t help but ask, “What about the Origin Sect and the Spirit Sect?”
The black-clad woman said, “The Origin Sect has three Immeasurable Eternals in attendance. Led by Greater Boundless Eternal Xing Jianxia, the other two are Ren Futian and Gu Yuexian, but the last two were heavily wounded during that battle, and I don’t know if they have recovered by now.”
She paused briefly before continuing, “In addition to this, the Origin Sect originally had nine Creation existences, but two of them had fallen in the battle, so there should only be seven people left.”
Then, she talked about the Spirit Sect’s camp. Their leader was Fu Nanli, who was at the Greater Boundless Realm like Xing Jianxia. Besides this, they had two more Immeasurable Eternals who were Shun Huaijia and Xue Ye.
As for the numbers of their Creation experts, the Spirit Sect, unlike others, only a handful of six.

Even without factoring in the twelve Eternal Divine Clans, just the top power of the Shaman Sect and the Zen Sect was already a level above that of the Origin Sect and the Spirit Sect.
