Chapter 892 - The Tiny Holy Mother

Han Wu pushed open the courtyard gates and surveyed the interior. A crowd of White Lotus Sect members stood guard around the kidnapped Qin family.

The moment Han Wu stepped through, the sect members rose to their feet, ready for battle.

Then a woman’s voice came from inside the house. “All of you, stand down.”

The sect members withdrew and prepared to leave the courtyard.

The woman spoke again. “Take the captives with you. Set them free.”

Confusion spread among the sect members. They had gone through enormous trouble to kidnap the Qin family, and releasing them so easily felt absurd. Still, they didn’t dare question the Holy Mother’s orders; they could only obey.

As the sect members untied the Qin family, Qin Shuang’s father, Qin Hai, rushed over to Han Wu. “Where’s Shuang’er? Is she okay?”

“Don’t worry, Uncle. She’s just down below. You can go to her,” Han Wu replied.

Qin Hai let out a sigh of relief, but he was still worried about Han Wu’s safety. The sect had held their family long enough for them to grasp just how powerful its members were. The four elders alone were figures they could only look up to. If even those four bowed before the Holy Mother, how powerful could she be?

Qin Hai didn’t know, but he doubted she would be easy to deal with. He was about to say more when the Holy Mother’s voice came from inside again. “If you don’t want to leave, you’re welcome to stay.”

Han Wu immediately ushered the Qin family out. Whatever needed to be said could wait until later.

The family had no choice but to comply; their respect for Han Wu had already reached its peak.

After watching the sect members and the Qin family depart, Han Wu turned his attention to the house. Who exactly was the Holy Mother? He was eager to find out.

The door opened, and a figure stepped outside. Her hair was tied in a bun, and her youthful, collagen-rich face gave her an adorable appearance. What caught Han Wu’s attention most, however, was her height. She couldn’t be more than 1.5 meters tall. She was tiny!

“You’re the Holy Mother?” Han Wu could hardly believe it. He wasn’t the type to judge by appearances, but this little potato didn’t look like a powerful fighter by any measure.

The Holy Mother sensed the doubt in his voice and huffed. “There are only the two of us here. If I’m not the Holy Mother, are you?”

Han Wu had no comeback. She was small in stature, but she definitely had a big temper.

“So, are we going to fight now?” he asked.

At the mention of a fight, the Holy Mother’s eyes lit up. She clenched her tiny fists, each no bigger than a steamed bun. “Not just fight. I’m going to kill you! Someone from the Divine Civilization called the True Martial God King made a deal with me. He provided me with techniques to grow stronger and even led you here. All I have to do is kill you.”

Han Wu snorted. So the True Martial God King set the trap.

Han Wu tried to bargain. “Can’t you let me go? Whatever the True Martial God King offered, I’ll double it!”

Han Wu knew True Martial was powerful, but among God Kings, he was famously poor. His current wealth rivaled that of the entire True Martial Faction. Whatever True Martial could offer, Han Wu could provide something better.

The Holy Mother considered the offer, but after a moment, she shook her head with a hint of regret. “I made a pact with him. Keeping my word is my bottom line. I’ve already learned the techniques he gave me. I have to kill you to fulfill our agreement.”

Han Wu understood immediately. The Holy Mother was a person of principle. He couldn’t buy her off. The only option left was to fight.

With that settled, neither wasted another word. Han Wu unleashed his strongest state. Using Divine Invocation, he summoned himself in his body and effectively unsealed his full power: Duel Jurisdiction, Divine Authority 1, Destruction Aspect, Undying, Replicate, and Demon King Transformation!

The pressure Han Wu radiated now far exceeded that of any Top-tier fighter in the Martial Arts Civilization, though there was still a gap between him and a true Martial Grandmaster.

The Holy Mother’s expression turned intrigued. “You’re impressive. Really impressive. I hope you can take more than a few punches.”

With that, she made her move. Her internal energy surged. Behind her, a brilliant white Divine Ring etched with countless lotus flowers appeared. As the Divine Ring materialized, she rapidly matured and grew to 1.8 meters tall, while her aura skyrocketed. A nine-petaled white lotus bloomed on her forehead. This was her full power.

Han Wu gritted his teeth. If he were also at full power, he wouldn’t necessarily fear her. At present, however, he couldn’t even access fifty percent of his strength.

Faced with her overwhelming pressure, Han Wu had no choice but to activate his Demon King Transformation to bolster his aura. His frame underwent a massive change. Fueled by enormous reserves of internal energy, he shifted into the transformation’s strongest form: the Fetterbane Dragonforge.

He grew to 10,000 meters in height, towering like a mountain. Every muscle looked as though it had been forged from metal, radiating with both raw power and mechanical beauty. Sadly, this wasn’t the Fetterbane Dragonforge’s complete form. His reserves simply couldn’t sustain a full release.

Still, Han Wu’s strength had barely reached World rank, enough to challenge the Holy Mother in earnest.

She grew even more excited and shouted, “Here I come!”

A massive white lotus formed around her that crushed the entire courtyard into rubble. Han Wu seized the opportunity and brought Peerless and his Divine Authority greatsword crashing down.

Even with both powerful weapons, he couldn’t break through the Holy Mother’s white lotus. The entire lotus served as her shield.

Under her control, the lotus rapidly shrank until it was no larger than her palm, resembling a freshly steamed bun. Despite its size, the power contained within couldn’t be underestimated.

In the next instant, the Holy Mother appeared before Han Wu’s massive frame as if she had teleported. She pressed the tiny lotus forward with her palm. The terrifying pressure cracked space itself. Spatial rifts tore across the Fetterbane Dragonforge’s body, inflicting heavy damage.

Then the little lotus exploded, and its blast tore a gaping hole through Han Wu’s metallic frame.

“You’re awfully big. Don’t tell me you can’t even take one punch.” She stood in midair as her tiny frame generated another surge of enormous energy. A second white lotus formed!
