Chapter 128: Chapter 82: "Hello, This Is a Robbery.

Sabeck quickly arrived at the airport.

His subordinate hadn’t been kidding; he really did see Sean!

The West Port Airport was packed with tourists from all over the world, many dressed in flamboyant, eye-catching outfits. But Sabeck spotted Sean in the crowd with a single glance.

There was no great secret to it—he’d simply been thinking about him day and night.

Seeing Sean appear at West Port Airport completely unscathed left Sabeck both shocked and delighted.

The delight, of course, was because Sean wasn’t dead, which meant he still had a chance to collect the bounty.

The shock was that Sean hadn’t died. ’How did he survive the plane crash?’

’Was it thanks to Flame Crow and the others?’

Sabeck didn’t believe a mere Tier Two could survive a "major accident" like a plane explosion. Even he would likely be injured in such a scenario. Someone must have been looking out for Sean; otherwise, there was no way he’d be so "intact."

He had to admit, Sean had some serious balls.

To barely escape with his life and then dare to come to New Eldo... It was truly...

Just his style!

At the airport’s arrival gate, Sabeck furtively blended into the crowd and found his subordinate, who was just as furtively keeping watch.

"Mr. Sabeck, you’re here," the subordinate greeted him in a low voice.

Sabeck grunted in acknowledgment, his eyes never leaving Sean.

At that moment, Sean and Elvire were walking into a duty-free shop, apparently wanting to buy something.

He didn’t see anyone else and couldn’t help but ask, "Where are the Light Attendant and the Witch?"

"Didn’t see them," his man replied. "Looks like it’s just the two of them."

Sabeck’s gaze immediately turned wary as he scanned the surroundings. "Stay sharp. They might have taken a Witch Potion."

His subordinate seemed to have his own opinion, guessing, "Besides Sean and Flame Crow, could the others have died on the plane?"

SMACK!

Sabeck smacked him on the back of the head. "Idiot! Do you think they’re weaklings like you? Do you have any idea what Tier Five means? You’d be killed by the shockwave just standing nearby, but they wouldn’t even be touched by the explosion. Understand?"

If Tier Five Wizards were that easy to kill, would Flame Crow, the Light Attendant, and the others even be alive today?

The Witch Hunt Operation would have been successfully concluded long ago.

The subordinate clutched his head, yelping in pain. "I was just saying," he mumbled, feeling wronged.

Sabeck sneered. "You sure have a way with words. A single sentence is all it takes to reveal your deficient IQ."

The subordinate: "..."

’Your words are so damn hurtful.’

"Keep a close watch. I’m going to the restroom," Sabeck said.

He had rushed over the moment he got the call, skipping breakfast and even washing his face. While Sean and Elvire were shopping, he could finally grab a bite.

By the time he returned, Sean and Elvire were just coming out of the duty-free shop.

He had timed his meal perfectly.

He just couldn’t see what they had bought; they were only holding a map.

Sabeck asked his subordinate, "They were in there for so long and only bought that?"

The subordinate nodded. "Seems so. They don’t have any luggage, so they can’t hide anything."

Besides, everything sold in a duty-free shop comes with official paperwork. There’s nothing to hide.

This was actually a bit strange. Whether they were visiting New Eldo for real or just pretending, they should have had luggage—at least some daily necessities like a change of clothes. But Sean and Elvire had arrived empty-handed. Before entering the duty-free shop, they didn’t even have the map they were now holding.

’Did they have the airport deliver their luggage directly to their hotel?’

Sabeck wondered.

Meanwhile, his subordinate used a pair of mini-binoculars to get a look at the map in Sean’s hand and reported, "Mr. Sabeck, he bought a city map of New Eldo."

Sean and Elvire were walking close together, shoulder to shoulder, pointing at the map and discussing it as they headed for the airport exit. They looked exactly like a tourist couple on vacation who hadn’t done any planning and were trying to find their way on the spot.

"Something’s not right." Sabeck frowned.

’Their behavior seems perfectly normal, but Sean and Elvire are not normal people. They aren’t ordinary tourists in any real sense. It’s like that saying—the biggest problem is when there are no problems. When everything is normal, that’s when things are most abnormal.’

But Sabeck couldn’t quite put his finger on what was wrong.

He could only tell his subordinate to put away the binoculars and be careful not to be spotted by Sean and Elvire.

They blended back into the crowd and continued to follow the pair discreetly.

Along the way, Sabeck also spotted quite a few rivals.

He even recognized some of them.

Apparently, he wasn’t the only one with his eyes on Sean.

After all, Sean was a walking "grand prize lottery ticket." Among all the Low-tier Wizards, no target’s head was worth more than his.

And they all had a tacit understanding.

No one had brought too many people; the largest of the Hunter groups Sabeck noticed had only five members.

No one made any move to approach Sean and Elvire. They all just followed from a distance, keeping at least twenty to thirty meters away. With so many people on the street, they weren’t afraid of losing them.

It was obvious no one planned on being the first to make a move.

"Damn it, a bunch of bastards," Sabeck cursed under his breath.

It was clear these guys wanted someone else to go test Sean’s strength first. It would be best if a fight broke out, so they could swoop in and reap the rewards.

’A bunch of dogs, just like me!’

And just as Sabeck had expected, it seemed Sean and Elvire’s luggage really had been sent directly to their hotel.

They followed the pair to a hotel near the airport, where they saw Sean go into the lobby while Elvire waited outside. Before long, Sean came back out, now with an extra-large suitcase in hand.
