Liam returned home and freshened up right away, he had never thought about owning his own firm seriously until recently.

These law firms had such strict rules but Liam knew this could sway it to his advantage especially with the younger generation.

Rachel’s phone rang a couple of times before being sent to voicemail, Liam didn’t give up and tried one more time.

Thankfully, Rachel picked up the phone but she sounded tired, like he had just interrupted something.

"Hey beautiful, I’m sorry I couldn’t get back to you earlier but I wanted to let you know I had a wonderful time yesterday," Liam began the conversation.

He said these words not only because he hoped it would maintain the emotional connection he had built up but also because he truly meant these words.
