Yuridika Akareon stared at the miniature monitor attached beside the so-called star capsule that was utilized to assess every student's status, specifically for Aeon whom her eyes were set on these past few days for various reasons.
Funnily enough, it started with trivial matters until it snowballed into something significant because of his questionable connection with the heir of the Eurasia Grand Agency.

Labeled "Godent" in this assessment could only be categorized into 'dark cerulean' and just 'dark' colorization. The former meant that the subject in question was confirmed to be a godent, and the latter was the opposite.
It was a given, considering how someone such as Aeon could become the one in charge of the Eurasia Grand Agency's heir's safety.
However, speaking of "Godent-Type," 'the crimson' color indicated that Aeon was an 'Inner-Type Godent,' which could classify his godent ability to be anything that put a heavy strain on his body compared to those Outer-Types.
'Considering what I briefly witnessed when he fought Cain previously, he seems to possess body strengthening, fire-related ability.' She thought, surmising that Aeon possessed more than one godent ability, which was not exactly a rare case.
But then, witnessing the assessment result regarding Aeon's star mana level, Yuridika couldn't believe her eyes.
"Wh-what... white?"
'What the hell's wrong with this guy?!'
This label could only mean one thing—more than just defective when it came to being low.
Numerically, if this assessment criteria were to be graded 1-10, then Aeon would fall under 1 and barely 2, the lowest of the lows. In other words, his soul possessed very limited star mana; whatever his ability was, it could only be used one to two times without feeling exhausted.
'What kind of trash is this...?'
It was not only her, but the bystanders' reactions were somewhat the same, with others far more expressive compared to her.
"Hey, that's the one who fought Cain, right? A white star mana level? Is that even a godent? Absolute weak. He's basically a mundane at this point."
"Haha! Is he a scholar or what? I guess it was a fluke when he won against Cain."
"I see... This trash probably shows off to Airi by substituting as the duel participant... Or even Cain was that weak? Damn it! I should have been the one to face him."
Meanwhile, among these reactions, there's only another thing that popped off Yuridika's mind...
'What is Alina thinking...? There's no way that bastard would be able to protect her, especially in the battle of attrition.'
A subtle smile subconsciously formed on her lips.
Because of Aeon's assessment result, it seemed worrying about him was nonsensical to begin with.
'Do I even need to adhere with the hypocritical alliance to find the M-Rev File...?'
Such a dangerous thought was born in her mind.

"Your star mana level is this dangerously low...?" Even Alina could not believe her eyes upon seeing the godent assessment result of Aeon.
After all, based on the will of her father, Aeon's position was abrupt and he didn't get properly screened for this job.
To protect her—regardless of ability—was the only thing that mattered.
Looking at her standing bodyguard whose back was straightened, Alina, seated at the table of her personal space, then carefully continued, "Tell me why I should not worry in the upcoming banquet, Aeon."
Returning her gaze, Aeon responded with his mercenary persona, "...because you don't really know anything, Young Miss."
Alina paused; she understood what he meant, strangely enough.
And before she could let out a response, Aeon, with his hands on his back, continued, "Just enjoy your party, Young Miss."

The first and second days of the godent assessment finally ended.
It would determine two things in the upcoming Summit Banquet.
First, the separation of the weak and the strong.
Last but not least, the cruelty of the strong against the weak.
With the star mana level as the main basis, students would inevitably flock with those alike, whether they like it or not.
Now, in this peak of the night, Aeon, not under the direct command of Alina Noxan Eurasia, found himself outside of the Summit Academy before the day of finding true and superficial connections.
...before the day that would spark what it truly meant to be a student in this academy.
Moving in the shadows, Aeon arrived at one of the godent weapon manufacturing factories located in the heart of Summit City—Goddess Manufacturer, Summit City Branch.
Swift and as though one with the darkness, he entered the place without a hitch.
His presence was similar to soundless echoes.

A woman in black with obsidian longhair and dark eyes was rummaging through her office table to find her phone she seemed to forget after leaving to take a bathroom for a minute or two.
Yuridika's personal secretary—Raven—then found an unusual letter, which she picked up without thinking much of it.
With her attention momentarily focused on it, her mind subconsciously read what was written—it was not enclosed or anything to begin with—only for her eyes to widen as she instinctively looked behind.
No...
She tried to look back when a hand grabbed her mouth, followed by a masculine voice exuding cold.
There was no murderous intent, at the very least.
"Call your boss. She would love to hear what I have to say."
After warning Raven that she would die the moment she did something stupid, Aeon, who intruded the Goddess Manufacturer at this point in time, let go of his hand.
Without looking back, Raven dialed for Yuridika.
After a second or two, a voice echoed on the other side of the call.
< "Raven? Why?" >
"Young Miss..."
Gulping for a second, Raven slowly opened her mouth.
"T-The M-Rev File... H-he says you should look for him."
< "What... What did you say?" >
Yuridika was audibly flustered.
Before Raven could answer, Aeon revealed himself.
This time around, there was no trace of playfulness in his demeanor.
" Ice Princess... Stop looking for the wrong source, you all are fucking fools."
