Chapter 125: A Different Kind of Master
Milo stayed rooted to the stone floor, his heart aching with an intense sense of guilt. "I can just remove my clothes, Sir... I can do it."
"Go back to the car right now, or I will leave you here alone," Salvatore commanded, his tone final.
Milo pouted, slowly turning toward the exit. He admitted that a small wave of relief washed over his chest because he didn’t have to strip, but the heavy guilt remained tight behind his ribs.
Milo didn’t say anything. He just needed to follow Salvatore, but the man suddenly stopped.
Milo looked up to see why Salvatore had stopped. Then he saw Alben coming toward them.
Alben walked confidently with a bright smile, holding a heavy leather leash in his left hand.
Milo widened his eyes in horror when he looked behind Alben, and his entire body went completely stiff.
Nero, his previous arrogant and cruel master, was crawling on the floor behind Alben’s boots. A thick leather collar was locked around his neck, connected to the leash.
He was completely naked, his once-arrogant posture completely broken as his knees moved across the stone floor.
The transformation was terrifying in Milo’s eyes. Nero’s body looked slightly heavier than Milo remembered. His eyes were completely hollow, blankly staring at the floor without a single shred of his old sadistic pride.
He looked like a shell.
Milo let out a soft shriek, his survival instincts taking over instantly as he grabbed Salvatore’s hand and moved his entire body behind the man’s back, hiding his face against Salvatore’s suit jacket to block out the uncomfortable sight.
Alben stopped in front of Salvatore, letting out a cheerful laugh as he lightly yanked the leash to keep Nero stationary on the tiles.
"Sorry I’m late! I had a little problem with the cage. I forgot to bring the key."
Salvatore didn’t look down at Nero. He kept his body positioned firmly in front of Milo, his gray eyes fixed on Alben’s smirking face.
"Why do you need to lock the cage if you are going to open it anyway? He will not run," Salvatore said.
"Just to give him the real sensation. He might be scared, as it’s his first time exhibiting. Anyway, I’m here. Why are you still here?"
Salvatore looked at Nero, who was still looking down. Then he looked back at Alben.
"Enjoy it then. We will go home."
Alben looked at Salvatore’s rigid posture, then noticed the way Milo was hiding behind the man’s shoulders.
"Why? You are here! It’s not fun without you! Oh, come on!" Alben looked disappointed. "Why? Your little chicken is not comfortable?"
He looked at Milo.
Milo just held Salvatore tighter. He felt guilty, but it was not because he was uncomfortable there.
It was because Salvatore didn’t let him get naked.
"I will not let him be naked here. Just send me an invitation for a normal event," said Salvatore, accusing Alben of being insensitive.
"What? What kind of normal event is that? Come on! Milo, it only requires removing your clothes. Everyone is naked there. Don’t worry, and don’t be shy. I have already seen you."
Before Milo could reply, Salvatore stopped him. "No. It’s not because of him."
Salvatore knew Milo didn’t enjoy being naked in public, and he didn’t want to force him into something he didn’t want to do just for an event he never wanted to attend anyway.
Alben sighed. "Oh, come on! I will not let you go home."
Salvatore grabbed Milo’s hand. "If they don’t let him stay with his clothes on, I’m leaving."
Alben thought for a while. Then he looked at the host. "Hey, call Matlahar. Tell him Alben is here and wants to talk to him."
The host spoke to someone before facing Alben. He simply nodded and made the call.
Milo just watched everything in silence as Alben talked. He felt Salvatore’s grip on his hand firmly. He also noticed Nero, who looked so defeated and humiliated.
His mind wandered back, remembering when he used to be in that situation. Who knew the table would turn like this now? And the man did not even look at him.
He remembered hearing Nero shout and kick him right away. He still couldn’t believe that the man who was naked and so quiet was the same man he had lived with for 13 years.
Milo returned to reality when Alben gave the phone back.
He looked at the host, who was talking on the phone. He sensed that they might let him pass with his clothes on.
"Yes, yes. I understand. Okay. I will give them a separate room." The host then closed the call.
He looked at Salvatore and Milo. "Mr. Matlahar agreed. We will prepare the room for you. Please enjoy your time!"
Salvatore looked at Milo and smiled. "Still want to go?"
Milo nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, Sir!"
Alben grabbed Milo’s cheek. "Oh, you are so cute. You are so excited to see inside?"
Salvatore grabbed Alben’s hand before the man could touch anything else. "Focus on your thing. Don’t touch mine."
Alben laughed. "Damn! I can’t even touch him now?"
Milo just smiled and grabbed Salvatore’s arm while the man walked with Alben. He tried to stay as far away from Nero as possible.
Milo’s attention was soon occupied by everything around him.
They passed the main hall, where a large stage stood under dim, dramatic lighting. On it, a naked woman was tightly bound with thick ropes, her body slightly suspended as a man struck her back with a leather whip.
A sharp crack echoed through the room. Then came the cheers from everyone around them.
Milo flinched, his shoulders jerking as the whip landed on her skin.
Salvatore felt the movement and pulled Milo closer, holding him tighter against his side.
"See and look around," Salvatore said, his voice calm and steady. "You might not enjoy it, but you need to know what you might face when you are with me."
Milo gulped, his eyes fixed on the stage. The intense sight made a strange wave of desire rise in his chest, but at the same time, he hesitated.
He doubted whether his body could actually handle that kind of pain. It looked incredibly extreme.
He looked away from the stage and scanned the surroundings, noticing a woman sitting at a nearby table with heavy purple bruises covering her arms and shoulders.
"Sir, do they enjoy it?" Milo asked, his voice quiet.
"It takes training. Over time, they get used to it," Salvatore answered, looking toward the stage with a neutral expression. "Some of them even become addicted to it. But I will not do that to you. I don’t like too many bruises."
Milo gulped again, his eyes wandering across the room as he absorbed everything. He spotted Alben across the hall, standing with a group of people who were looking down at Nero. They seemed to be praising his new "pet," while Alben smiled proudly.
A middle-aged man in a sharp suit separated himself from the crowd and walked directly toward them.
"Salvatore, I never see you anymore. How are you?" the man said, offering a hand.
Salvatore shook it briefly. "Hendrik."
Hendrik looked down at Milo, noticing the way the young man clung to Salvatore’s arm. "So this is the new one? Don’t worry, little one. Salvatore is the softest master I have ever known. You are in safe hands."
Milo looked at Hendrik, then looked behind him. Hendrik was completely alone.
Hendrik noticed Milo’s gaze and chuckled, pointing back toward his designated table. "My precious one is over there."
Milo followed his finger and found a young man kneeling right beside a leather chair. He was exceptionally handsome, completely quiet, and kept his head bowed low toward the floor.
Salvatore glanced toward the kneeling man, looking thoroughly bored by the sight. "Why not let him walk around with you?"
"Don’t worry about him," Hendrik replied with a dismissive wave of his hand. "He had too many things happen to him last night. I had to put a diaper on him today, you know... he can’t control himself right now."
Salvatore frowned slightly. "You will ruin him soon."
"Well, we can always find a new, fresh thing if that happens," Hendrik laughed, completely unbothered.
Salvatore just smiled faintly, not offering a real response.
Milo shifted uncomfortably, a cold knot forming in his stomach. He looked up at Salvatore’s profile, his mind instantly racing with anxiety.
He couldn’t help but wonder if Salvatore would simply discard him and find someone else too if he ever broke down or couldn’t handle this lifestyle.
They talked for a few more minutes before another guest called out to Hendrik, and the man excused himself and walked away.
Salvatore didn’t stay in the open hall any longer. He guided Milo toward a staff member who escorted them to their reserved space.
It was an exclusive room enclosed by transparent glass walls. From inside, they had a clear view of the entire event and the main stage, but the glass provided privacy, along with a proper dining table set with meals.
Milo remained completely quiet, sitting down and staring out through the glass at the chaotic event outside.
Salvatore watched him for a moment before speaking. "What do you think? Do you enjoy it?"
Milo slowly turned his head to look at Salvatore. The question that had been burning in his chest finally spilled out.
"Sir... would you throw me away if I am broken?"
Salvatore looked at him, and a gentle smile touched his lips.
"You are broken right now. I am trying to fix you."
He leaned in slightly, his tone serious but reassuring. "I am waiting to see if you can compromise with my life. I will not force any of this on you. And if I decide that you will be mine, I will not harm you or leave you behind like an object. I care for the people I love much better than you think."
Milo looked down at his own lap, his throat tight.
"I am hoping so much that you will take me as yours..."
Salvatore didn’t answer immediately. He looked deeply into Milo’s eyes, letting the silence stretch between them for minutes.
Then, he reached out, gently caught Milo’s hand, and pulled him up to sit firmly on his lap.
"Come here," Salvatore murmured, wrapping an arm around his waist. "Enjoy your life for now. You will see whether you truly like this environment or not, without constantly worrying about who you will live with. If you find that you enjoy this kind of lifestyle, you will naturally find a way to become more involved in it. Then, we can be good partners."
Milo rested his back against Salvatore’s chest, looking out at the glass walls again.
"It is my first time at this kind of event. It scares me a little bit. But I feel protected here with you."
"Don’t worry," Salvatore said near his ear. "I am not extreme. I just enjoy these things for myself. Not in public."
Milo looked down at Salvatore’s large hand resting over his own. A small smile appeared on his face, and he turned around to wrap his arms tightly around Salvatore’s neck, burying his face in his shoulder.
"So, you still don’t know if I can be yours yet?"
Salvatore held Milo tightly against him, his grip strong and steady.
"Let’s see..."
Milo opened his mouth to reply, but the glass door of the private room swung open. Alben walked in with a wide grin.
Milo immediately sat up quickly, pulling away from Salvatore’s chest to sit upright on his lap.
