Chapter 46: I’ll Play With You
"Hahaha! Good, good!" Lynsandra’s laughter grew louder and more diabolical. Those who heard her waves of laughter — each one followed by another brutal assault — couldn’t help but cover their ears. They were certain this sound would haunt them even in their sleep.
Those who weren’t conscious enough could only watch the one-sided fight with blank eyes. It felt like watching someone who had finally gotten a toy that wouldn’t break so easily.
The three women who had been tossed aside paled even further as they watched the violence unfold right in front of them.
At this point, everyone knew she was worse than the gang. Far more violent.
"So... fun!" Her eyes shone brightly, her body trembling with excitement. "You really... are fun company..."
Tak!
Lynsandra suddenly froze when something shattered against her head. She blinked, looked down, and caught the bottle that had struck her, its shards scattered around her feet.
The crowd snapped out of their horrified trance, eyes shifting in unison.
There, the last remaining gang member stood. His breath hitched as realization dawned on him, his pupils constricting the moment her gaze landed on him.
"Shit..." he cursed, staggering back.
"Ehh?" Lynsandra tilted her head, finally releasing the boss, who had already lost consciousness after the fifth blow. Amusement flickered in her eyes.
The man huffed and jumped to his feet, turning to run. But the moment he did, Lynsandra was already behind him.
"You..." Her eyes twinkled, bloodlust lacing her voice. "...want to play with me?"
Horror twisted his features at the unnatural smile on her face. Acting purely on instinct, he turned again, only to be yanked back by the back of his collar.
"Ack!"
"Huh?" Deep lines appeared on Lynsandra’s face as she eyed the hand gripping her wrist, stopping her.
Slowly, she lifted her gaze and met a familiar pair of golden eyes.
"Elias?" She raised a brow and tilted her head. "You drink here?"
He sighed faintly. "Let him go."
"..." She puffed her cheeks, tightening her grip on the other man’s collar. "Don’t wanna."
"I’ll play with you," Elias said, holding her wrist just enough to stop her from slamming the man around — though not nearly enough to restrain her.
Lynsandra blinked several times. "Really?"
"Mhm." He nodded, then lifted his foot and pressed it against the man’s side. When she loosened her grip, he kicked him lightly, just enough to send him rolling away.
At the same time, Lynsandra reached out with her free hand to grab Elias. But he moved faster.
Grabbing her other arm, he hoisted her off her feet in one smooth motion until her stomach landed over his shoulder.
"Later," he said lazily, glancing back at her. "Not in here."
Lynsandra sucked in her cheeks, frowning as she dangled over his shoulder like a sack. As he turned to leave, she spotted the two remaining gang members—along with the one who had humiliated himself earlier.
"Ah!" She jerked, pointing at them. "They’re still up! Wait! I’m not done with them yet! Let me punch them—just once! Hey!"
Elias ignored her completely, listening as her protests devolved from complaints into threats.
"Just wait, you two! I’ll find you—I know where to find you! You and all your friends!"
She fumed as if she weren’t being carried off. The two surviving gang members stared at her in sheer horror. She clearly wanted another round with them.
They froze in horror when Elias suddenly stopped walking.
"Why is he stopping?" one gang member blurted out, horrified. "No, don’t release her —"
"Delete all the videos and pictures of her," Elias said calmly, his voice carrying clearly to the far end of the club. "If I see anything leak... you’ll find out who you’re dealing with. Better yet, forget everything about her. Just say those guys fought among themselves."
With that, he resumed walking, Lynsandra still throwing an impressive tantrum over his shoulder.
"Don’t delete them!" she yelled. "Upload them! Make me go viral!"
Elias deadpanned. "Don’t listen to her."
"Don’t listen to him!" she snapped back. "He’s a wild man! Crazy! Insane! Drunkard! Not in his right mind! Give me credits!"
Ironically, everything she said sounded like she was describing herself.

When Virgo finally located Lynsandra’s last known location, he didn’t hesitate. He dispatched an entire unit the moment he heard a fight had broken out. He didn’t know the details, but he knew stopping her would require that much force, if not more.
What he didn’t expect to see upon arrival was a line of police vehicles.
"Sir," one of his men reported as he hurried over, "when we arrived, she was already gone. Actually—"
The report continued as they moved inside the club, Virgo freezing when he saw the aftermath.
"According to witnesses," the man continued solemnly, "it was just a brawl among gang members."
"A fight among themselves?" Virgo echoed, staring at the shattered bar counter, broken stools, and cracked floor. "Does this look like a normal brawl to you?"
The man lowered his head and sighed. Just then, another agent jogged over.
"Beta Virgo," he called. "We found Minnie."
Virgo immediately followed him, arriving at the back exit of the club, where Minnie lay sprawled over a pile of trash bags, hugging a stray cat and sleeping peacefully.
"..." Virgo’s face twitched, completely missing Victor, who was nearly buried beneath the trash.
But above the irritation, panic crept into his chest. If Lynsandra wasn’t here, then there was only one conclusion.
She was somewhere else, looking for another fight.
The thought made his head throb. He pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Try finding her—" he started, only for his phone to vibrate in his pocket.
When he saw Lynsandra’s name on the screen, he answered instantly. "Luna—"
"She’s fine," came a voice that wasn’t hers. "She’s with me. Handle the aftermath, and I’ll handle her. There were people recording what happened. It won’t be good if it were leaked online."
Virgo’s brows knit tighter.
"Mr. Hale?" he guessed, and then he heard her voice.
From the background, Lynsandra’s voice erupted. "Virgo! I’m being abducted—help me!"
Elias clicked his tongue. "Here. Have this."
Whatever he handed her shut her up instantly.
"Anyway," Elias added lazily, "that’s all. Thought you’d want to know."
Then, the call ended.
Virgo stared at his phone, stunned.
"He..." he murmured, equal parts confused and amazed. "...managed to stop her?"
