Chapter 205: Chapter 99: [Gray Mist Giant] and [Ancient Porcelain Mother of the Source Furnace]

「Jiluan Cloud District.」

"Lately, it seems... there are more steamships in the harbor."

Inside the majestic Stone Cliff Manor.

Through the bright windowpanes, Zorn quietly gazed out at the vast steamships.

"Quite a few more. They’re constantly forging new steamships at the Ice-free Port to the north."

"We have to win the war against Saintisman first. At the very least, we can’t afford to lose at sea."

Zorn glanced to the side, his eyes falling on Isabelle’s delicate profile, her skin as fair and smooth as porcelain.

Her form-fitting, violet-and-gold court gown, combined with her slender figure, made her look all the more noble and elegant.

As the future Empress of the Empire, she naturally couldn’t be absent from such an important gathering.

She had arrived even earlier than Zorn.

"What about aerial combat with the Steam Airships?"

Zorn asked.

"We may be outmatched in airship-to-airship combat, but we have no trouble when it comes to defense."

"The Witches from the High Mountain can help us deal with the Steam Airship issue to some extent."

"Of course, we’re also accelerating the production of our own Steam Airships."

Isabelle was quite knowledgeable about all aspects of the Newborn Steam Empire.

Setting all else aside, Isabelle was, at the very least, a competent Steam Empress.

In this age of steam industrialization, steam-powered technology could even channel simple Magic Spells for magical attacks.

Essentially, even a Level 5 being of the Lower Rank Level would struggle to survive on the battlefield if they were subjected to focused fire.

A Middle Rank Level Transcendent like Zorn, on the other hand, could survive on the battlefield and inflict significant damage on the enemy.

However, both sides had Middle Rank Level Transcendents stationed throughout their War Legions.

Among them were some incredibly powerful Assassins.

For example, Rosian, the Undead Assassin Tutor from Ogrande City, had written to Zorn some time ago.

He had gone to the front lines and successfully taken out two Spiritual Mages.

After those Spiritual Mages, who were powerful enough to destroy defensive bunkers with their spells, finished casting a potent Spiritual Spell, he had easily found their location and assassinated them with a single blow.

Even in the Steam Era, where Extraordinary Power was constantly on the rise, ordinary soldiers still had their uses and could even play a crucial role.

From the [Players’] perspective, ordinary soldiers were the "minion wave." Only by pushing the wave forward could the powerful create enough space to make their move.

If the minion wave hadn’t been pushed, rushing in recklessly would only put oneself in danger.

The enemy’s Transcendents were no pushovers.

Even Zorn wouldn’t dare claim he could dominate the battlefield single-handedly.

’After all, the Saintisman Empire has a guy running a map-hack for the entire war.’

’Using the power of War, that guy is capable of launching long-range strategic strikes.’

’[Lord of War] isn’t just a title; it’s a genuine Sequence that can have a massive impact on the battlefield.’

’Right now, that Joe Moriff is still quietly growing in power, but it won’t be long before he reveals just how terrifying he is.’

Just as Zorn and Isabelle were discussing the latest reports from the front, Lady Sun walked over.

"Are the sovereigns ready?"

Zorn asked Lady Sun.

"Yes. The two Sovereigns and Lord Veselar are ready."

As she spoke, Lady Sun turned to Zorn with a solemn expression.

"Zorn, you must understand, inviting these three is no small matter. It took me a great deal of time and effort."

Zorn nodded slightly.

"I understand the gravity of the situation."

"This intelligence is more important than anything before it."

Lady Sun activated a miniature Steam Tower on a nearby desk.

HIIISSSS...

A torrent of Steam Grey Mist instantly spewed out, pulling the three of them into the Steam Spirit Realm.

Below them was the churning, surging Steam Realm, like a sea of clouds and fog.

Above them was the vast Starry Sky, filled with endless stars.

In three directions around them, three enormous faces slowly materialized, blending into the deep, dark Starry Sky.

The Sovereign of Autanston, the "Iron Ash Dominator," Calos.

’An Upper Rank Level being. He should be in the Castle of Ashes in Purgatory right now, forging his own Legendary weapon.’

’Endless hordes of Demons wanted to storm the "Ashen Fortress" standing in the depths of Purgatory.’

’But the terrifying power being forged by the "Iron Ash Dominator," Calos, deep within the fortress was constantly concentrating and accumulating.’

’Any Demon that drew near the fortress would be instantly crushed to death by this accumulating power, turning to ash and in turn contributing to the power of the Castle of Ashes.’

’Ailuvia Isaiah, the Sovereign of the Saint Grelle Empire. She should still be within the gray mist deep in the northern forests, gathering the power she needs from the ancient woods and mist.’

’The third was an even bigger heavyweight.’

’The supreme ruler of the [Sun Church].’

’The [Conspiracy Theorist], Veselar.’

’The [Crying Blood Sun] was his handiwork.’

’The former [Evil Spirit Wizard], Zorn Corick, had been thoroughly played and manipulated by him.’

’Of course, that was all in the past.’

’Now, in this new Chapter, they were all fellow bosses, partners in an alliance.’

It was the alliance of these three Upper Rank Level powerhouses that had brought about the imminent creation of the Otan Grelle Steam Empire.

And now, they were gathered here.
