"You cooked it yourself? It’s been a long time since I tasted your cooking." Qiao Qiqi was hungry at the moment. She hadn’t eaten yesterday, ran around all night, then went into surgery, and fell asleep in the morning without eating. She was starving now.

Five minutes later, all the dishes were served: two stir-fried dishes, a fish, and a very tender chicken soup with ginseng.
Qiao Qiqi was really hungry; she ate a bowl of rice and had two bowls of chicken soup before feeling full.
"Gu Cheng too, how could he not get you food?" Seeing her so hungry, Gu Shili was heartbroken.
"It’s not his fault; he didn’t eat either. Men are always not very attentive." Qiao Qiqi figured if she wanted to eat, she should do it herself, and it wasn’t really Gu Cheng’s fault.
"Next time, don’t let yourself go hungry. It pains me." Gu Shili held her small hand and kissed it softly.
"Got it." Qiao Qiqi pulled her hand back, feeling a bit ticklish, which made her feel slightly awkward.
"Are you full? I noticed you didn’t eat as much as I did. Have some more." Qiao Qiqi picked some fish for him.
Gu Shili didn’t refuse; he picked up his bowl and ate another bowl of rice. He had been focusing on her, and hadn’t eaten much himself.
After the meal, Qiao Qiqi went to see the three injured ones. Though they felt uncomfortable, they were in good spirits knowing they wouldn’t be left disabled. All three had gone through a lot in life. Otherwise, Gu Cheng wouldn’t have entrusted them with such an important task as entering the unprocessed stone market.
Now, seeing Qiao Qiqi, the three of them were full of respect. Any previous doubts had long vanished, and they were extremely impressed with this young boss. Actually, they shouldn’t have doubted her ability once Qiao Qiqi rescued them and single-handedly destroyed that hideout.
