Chapter 581: Chapter 581: Intelligence Network

"Clap, clap, clap..."

Zhou Mi started clapping, feeling that Lin Tian deserved applause. Then, Liou Qingcheng and Charlson also began clapping, and finally, everyone joined in.

Everyone knew this applause was for Lin Tian.

After the applause subsided, Zhou Mi looked at Lin Tian as if he were an alien, "Was that really... your first time dancing?"

Everyone’s eyes focused on Lin Tian again, clearly wanting to know the answer.

"Really. How was it? Not bad, right?" Lin Tian scratched his head. Although he was confident, since he hadn’t seen his own performance, he was a bit nervous, especially after bragging earlier.

Everyone’s expressions became strange. With a disbelieving look, they were almost ready to shout, "Stop pretending."

"Not bad..." Charlson looked at Lin Tian and asked, "How long have you been into street dance?"

Obviously, he didn’t believe what Lin Tian said.

"Half an hour..." Lin Tian said honestly.

"..."

Seeing the disbelief in everyone’s eyes, Lin Tian said, "Really, just started earlier."

Not to mention others, even Liou Qingcheng found it hard to believe, dancing so well in half an hour?

Charlson ignored Lin Tian’s words and confidently said, "You’ve been doing this for at least three years."

This statement received unanimous agreement from everyone.

"..." Now it was Lin Tian’s turn to be speechless. Why does no one ever believe the truth?

...

After spending an afternoon at the street dance club, Lin Tian held Liou Qingcheng’s hand leaving the art building. After dinner, they returned to Lin Tian’s villa.

At the street dance club, everyone unanimously recognized that Lin Tian had practiced for over three years. Charlson even discussed it with him, though Lin Tian couldn’t understand many of the terms.

Back at the villa, Liou Qingcheng took a bath first, and just as Lin Tian was about to unleash his wild side, she brought over a book and sat in front of him, asking about ancient medicine.

Looking at Liou Qingcheng’s serious expression, Lin Tian could only patiently explain it to her.

He felt that this kind of state was good for Liou Qingcheng. Although she gave up dance academy for him, she could still continue with street dance. Moreover, she was inspired by Zhao Xuefeng’s encouraging words and fell in love with ancient medicine, a treasure of the Celestial Dragon Continent, wanting to carry it forward.

She hadn’t become unhappy because of change; instead, she found a new interest, which was evidently the best outcome.

The questions Liou Qingcheng asked seemed very simple to Lin Tian, so he answered them one by one. With her quick understanding, the learning soon concluded.

Just when Lin Tian thought they could engage in some intimate time, Liou Qingcheng took a set of books again, saying, "I need to consolidate the knowledge points, or I’ll forget quickly."

Helpless, Lin Tian could only lie on the bed and start cultivating.

This period had been non-stop, with no time for cultivation, so being idle now was perfect for it.

Lin Tian was pleasantly surprised to find that the Spiritual Qi within the Sea of Qi had grown thicker. It hadn’t stagnated due to his halt in cultivation, but rather slightly increased — not much, but better than nothing.

With the flow of Spiritual Qi, Lin Tian submerged into a state of cultivation.

Time quickly passed another hour, and when Liou Qingcheng put down her book wanting to get cozy with Lin Tian, she found this guy sleeping like a dead pig.

Without a word exchanged, the next day, Lin Tian was disrupted from his cultivation by his phone ringing.

The caller ID showed: Miaoqiu.

Lin Tian quickly muted his phone and stepped onto the balcony before answering.

"What’s up?" Lin Tian asked, holding back his irritation.

"Good morning, Mr. Lin," Miaoqiu said sweetly.

This woman not only had a captivating figure and gaze but her voice was mesmerizingly sweet.

"Truly a vixen!" Lin Tian cursed in his heart.

"Have you thought about my proposition, Mr. Lin?" Miaoqiu asked.

"..." Lin Tian was silent for a few seconds before saying, "It’s only been two nights, are you that eager?"

"Of course, I’m afraid you’ll forget to think about it; it’s just like you," she replied.

"..."

She had guessed correctly; Lin Tian hadn’t thought about it at all.

Saying nothing was the best response. Miaoqiu continued, "I knew you unreliable men wouldn’t keep promises."

Her sweet voice carried a hint of whining, with a tiny touch of pity, layered with a flirtatious tone. It made Lin Tian shiver slightly.

Any man would want to show her some tenderness upon hearing it.

Vixen!

"To show my sincerity, I’ve sent you the information I gathered on others. It took me two days to sort it all out," she said.

Lin Tian was stunned, then said, "Thanks, I’ll treat you to a meal next time."

"Treat me to a meal? Where?" Miaoqiu asked. No one had ever said that to her before; she never had to worry about meals. At the Celestial Dragon Hotel, she had tasted every kind of delicacy.

No one had ever thanked her this way; those sleazy men only knew how to give gifts to woo her.

"..." Lin Tian didn’t expect her to be so serious, he just said it offhandedly. He replied casually, "At the Celestial Dragon Hotel."

"You’re too insincere; I eat here every day, and you won’t need to pay. I want to change the venue," Miaoqiu said earnestly.

"Change the place? Where to?" Lin Tian asked in return.

"How about you cook for me?" Miaoqiu suggested.

"I’m a terrible cook. After my girlfriend ate my cooking, she almost broke up with me."

"Then forget it... I’ll think more about where to go."

Lin Tian chuckled lightly, little fox, you think my cooking is that easily available to eat?

Changing the topic, Lin Tian asked, "I’ll check the material you sent later. By the way, where did you gather this information from?"

"Of course, I did it myself."

"You collected it alone?" Lin Tian asked slightly surprised.

"Please, I couldn’t handle that workload alone. Our Ancient Martial the Xu Family has an intelligence network," Miaoqiu explained.

"Is your family’s intelligence network powerful?"

Miaoqiu replied, "It’s decent, quite well-informed."

Lin Tian’s interest was piqued, he asked, "Can we cooperate?"

"Cooperate? On what?"

"Information sharing. I’m planning to build an intelligence network as well."
