"Heh, you’re jealous?" Lin Tian asked with a laugh. It was rare to see Shishi jealous; that resentful tone really made his heart itch.
"Yeah." Bai Shishi admitted straightforwardly. "But I’m still really mad. You were just gone for a while, said you were going to treat Ruyan’s dad, and what happened? You damn flower thief ruined both Ruyan and Miaoqiu’s bodies, and you didn’t even tell me. If I hadn’t forced that little brat Ruyan to spill, I’d still be in the dark now."
From her tone, Lin Tian could tell Bai Shishi wasn’t truly angry, just a bit moody. After all, in the past she’d played matchmaker between him and Mei Ruyan more than once.
"If I say I was actually the one who got taken advantage of, would you believe me? Honestly, they were the ones who forced me." Lin Tian said in an extremely carefree manner; his face didn’t even turn red, not even his heartbeat changed.
That was the truth anyway. Whether it was Miaoqiu or Ruyan, he hadn’t been the one to make the first move.
The women of the Xu Family were way too terrifying.
"I believe your bullshit!" Bai Shishi rolled her eyes repeatedly as she held the phone up. "Ruyan already told me everything. You took advantage of her when she was vulnerable!"
Lin Tian froze for a moment, then reacted. That girl Ruyan had learned bad habits. Looked like he’d have to properly "discipline" her next time.
"Alright, let’s not talk about that. Tell me how your talk with Jiang Pan Die went? But I’m guessing it didn’t go too smoothly, otherwise you wouldn’t have to be ’keeping her company’ like this." Bai Shishi said.
"..." Lin Tian was speechless for quite a while. What did she mean by "keeping her company"? Saying it like he was some gigolo.
"You actually guessed wrong. The negotiation went great. It took less than five minutes, and the price was way lower than we’d estimated—one-point-eight million."
"Wow, that really is a lot lower." Bai Shishi clicked her tongue. "Didn’t I say it? Letting you handle it, it was bound to work out."
How could it not have worked out? When Bai Shishi sent someone to contact Jiang Pan Die, she’d specifically asked for a high-level company shareholder. She’d practically spelled out Lin Tian’s name.
"Since the deal was done, why did you still spend the whole day playing with her? You haven’t kept me company like that in ages." Bai Shishi said resentfully.
Lin Tian was silent for several seconds, and finally squeezed out three words from his throat: "I’m sorry..."
"Do we really need to say sorry between us?" Bai Shishi laughed on the other end of the line. "Once I’m done with this busy stretch, you take me out to have some fun. I want to go somewhere with the sea."
"Okay."
"It’s getting late. Go to bed early. Tomorrow I’ll send someone to negotiate the details with Heyue. Good night."
"Good night."
After hanging up, Lin Tian’s mood grew heavier. Staring at the night view outside the car window, he said, "Master, turn around, head to Xianglong Building."

Because he’d just had drinks with Jiang Pan Die, Lin Tian reeked of alcohol and still had her scent on him. To avoid unnecessary trouble, he first went to a mall to buy a set of clothes, then found a hotel and opened a short-stay room to take a shower. After changing into clean clothes and buying a bouquet of fresh flowers, he finally entered Xianglong Building.
He made his way straight to the door of Bai Shishi’s room and knocked.
A short while later, Bai Shishi, wearing a white bathrobe, lazily walked to the door. When she opened it and saw Lin Tian, her mouth fell open in surprise.
"What are you doing here?" Bai Shishi asked.
"I was thinking about you, so I came." Lin Tian pushed the bouquet of roses into her arms, and while she was catching the flowers, he spread his arms and pulled her into his embrace.
Bai Shishi was startled by his sudden move. One hand was holding the flowers, and she didn’t even know where to put the other hand.
The last time a guy had given her flowers was probably years ago. Ever since Xianglong Tea House opened, who would even dare send her flowers?
"Bad guy~" Out of the thousand things she wanted to say, they all turned into those two words in the end. Leaning against Lin Tian, she could smell the fresh scent of his clean clothes, and she really liked this feeling.
"Shishi, who is it?" Just then, a voice came from inside the room, and Lin Tian’s heart jolted. It was Mei Ruyan!
Bai Shishi stayed in his arms, cheeks flushed, and in the end she didn’t answer.
Mei Ruyan turned on the room light, sat on the bed and looked toward the door. With one glance she saw that big lecher Lin Tian hugging Bai Shishi.
"What are you doing here?" Mei Ruyan asked.
Bai Shishi wriggled out of Lin Tian’s arms, clutching the flowers as she said, "I told him you were missing him, and then he came. This bouquet is for you, but I like it, so I’m holding it for now."
Mei Ruyan rolled her eyes. "You trying to fool a ghost?"
She slipped on her slippers and walked toward the door, saying as she went, "I’m going back to my room to sleep. I’ll leave you two alone."
Lin Tian had a big grin on his face. He actually didn’t know why Mei Ruyan was in this room; maybe the two besties had secrets to share, or maybe it was just warmer to cuddle together.
None of that mattered. What mattered was that Lin Tian slid one arm around Bai Shishi’s slender waist, and the other around Mei Ruyan’s fragrant shoulders, and, heart pounding, said, "No one’s allowed to leave. We’re all sleeping together tonight!"
Under one quilt, with a gorgeous beauty on one side and an icy beauty on the other. How many men dreamed of this kind of life?
"Peh! In your dreams!"
"Go to hell!"
The two stunning beauties spoke at the same time.
People’s thoughts really were strange. They were both willing to sleep in the same bed with Lin Tian and to whisper to each other in bed, like just now. But the idea of three people sleeping together? That they weren’t okay with.
"Too late to run now. I promise, we’re just sleeping." Lin Tian said.
The two women wanted to resist, but they simply couldn’t break free of Lin Tian’s arms, and were half-carried, half-dragged by him onto the bed.
The bed wasn’t that big. One person could sprawl comfortably, two people fit just right, but three people made it feel a bit cramped; even the blanket couldn’t cover them all.
Lin Tian lay right in the middle, listening to the breathing of the two women on his left and right. His mood was downright ecstatic. He wondered if he should be doing something more.
"Move your hand back." Bai Shishi whispered. Her heart was already beating too fast; this situation was way too embarrassing. And this bastard had said they were only sleeping and he wouldn’t do anything, yet that wandering pervy hand of his was all over the place.
It was the same for Mei Ruyan. She gripped Lin Tian’s hand tightly with both of hers. Her bestie was right there on the bed; she absolutely could not let this bastard take advantage.
Lin Tian was all smiles. This kind of thing, once you’ve done it the first time, it gets easier the second. It was normal to be nervous the first time. Once they got used to it, it would just become everyday life... Just picturing that scene made Lin Tian feel a little overwhelmed.
The two women were tormented by Lin Tian the whole night and didn’t get a wink of sleep. It wasn’t until the middle of the night, when they were completely exhausted, that they finally dozed off, snuggled in Lin Tian’s arms.
