Chapter 127: Attempting Seduction
One of the masters suddenly laughed.
"Hahaha! Wonderful!"
The old man proudly walked over and threw an arm around Shen Tian’s shoulders.
"I wasn’t exaggerating!"
He pointed at Yun Wanhe.
"My disciple is talented."
Then he pointed at Shen Tian.
"But this young man... is a monster!"
Yun Wanhe’s eyebrow twitched.
"Master. What? You don’t have to compare us."
"Why not?"
"Because I LOST!"
"Exactly!"
The old man slapped his own knee.
"So you should compare yourself!"
The surrounding old masters burst into laughter.
Among them...
Several elderly female masters quietly observed Shen Tian.
One of them folded her arms.
"He’s handsome."
Another nodded.
"...Very."
A third adjusted her glasses.
"And polite."
"His temperament is excellent. And Domain Initiation Realm at his age."
Silence fell between them.
Then...
One of the elderly women smiled mysteriously.
"Well."
She circulated her Qi.
A gentle breeze swept across the valley.
The wrinkles on her face gradually disappeared.
Her gray hair darkened into silky black.
Her slightly hunched posture straightened.
Within moments...
She appeared to be a beautiful woman in her late twenties.
The surrounding disciples blinked.
"Master?"
Another elderly woman snorted.
"Oh? You think you’re the only one who remembers that technique?"
She also circulated her cultivation.
Moments later...
She likewise appeared decades younger.
Elegant.
Graceful.
Radiating mature charm.
"Hmph."
A third wasn’t willing to lose either.
"You two have terrible taste in hairstyles."
Her appearance shifted as well.
Soon...
Nearly every elderly female master had transformed into an attractive youthful appearance using illusion and cultivation techniques.
The male elders stared blankly.
"..."
"..."
One finally coughed.
"Woah... They’re hot."
Another gave a half nod.
"The things I would do to those old women..."
The old man looked around.
"Seriously? Are these young guys that horny!?"
Ignoring the horny...
One of the women smiled innocently.
"We’re merely appreciating talent."
Another gracefully walked toward Shen Tian.
Her smile was warm.
"Young Master. I don’t suppose you’ve ever considered changing masters?"
The second immediately interrupted.
"My cultivation techniques would suit someone of your talent much better."
A third folded her hands behind her back.
"I have an ancient inheritance that has been passed down through my lineage. I’ve been searching for a worthy successor. You would be welcome."
The old man nearly jumped.
"HEY! He’s not your disciple! He doesn’t have one!"
"I know."
The woman smiled.
"I’m trying to fix that."
"Hahaha!"
The other elders burst into laughter.
The younger female disciples weren’t doing much better.
Several had gathered together, whispering.
"He’s so handsome..."
"And ridiculously strong."
"He defeated everyone so easily..."
"I wonder if he already has someone..."
"I’d like to get to know him..."
One particularly bold disciple stepped forward.
She bowed politely.
"Senior, I hope we’ll have the opportunity to spar someday."
Another quickly followed.
"I’d also appreciate your guidance."
A third smiled shyly.
"If you’re ever visiting this valley again... I’d love to exchange cultivation experiences."
Within moments...
A small crowd had formed around Shen Tian.
They all wanted to get him into their beds...
He handled each greeting politely.
Smiling.
Returning every bow.
Thanking each elder respectfully.
Not showing the slightest arrogance despite having just won the tournament.
The elders nodded approvingly.
"...Even his character is excellent."
"No wonder everyone likes him."
Off to the side...
Yun Wanhe watched everything.
"..."
His eye twitched.
’Master praised him...’
’The female masters are trying to recruit him...’
’Even the disciples...’
He looked toward the crowd surrounding Shen Tian.
Someone laughed.
Another offered congratulations.
One of the female masters was still trying to convince Shen Tian to visit her mountain.
The old man himself was enthusiastically introducing Shen Tian to everyone he knew.
Yun Wanhe clenched both fists.
Veins bulged across his forehead.
’I was the one who fought through every round...’
’I defeated every disciple...’
’I should’ve been standing there...’
His breathing became uneven.
His chest tightened.
The frustration he’d been suppressing for days...
The mini golf defeat.
The arcade defeat.
Chi Lingxi ignoring him.
Cleaning toilets.
Losing the Qi Stones.
Watching everyone admire Shen Tian...
All crashed together.
"Pffft—"
A mouthful of blood sprayed onto the grass.
"...What the!?"
Several disciples turned in alarm.
The old man glanced over.
"..."
He sighed.
"Looks like he got so frustrated he forced his Qi into disorder."
He walked over and lightly flicked Yun Wanhe’s forehead.
Flick.
"You fool."
Yun Wanhe looked up weakly.
"...Master..."
The old man folded his arms.
"What’s there to be jealous of? If someone stronger appears... You work harder. If someone more talented appears... You cultivate harder. If someone receives praise... You earn your own."
He looked toward Shen Tian, who was still speaking respectfully with the other masters.
"Jealousy doesn’t make you stronger. Cultivation does."
The old man then grinned.
"Besides..."
He pointed at Shen Tian.
"If your rival is someone like him... You’d better get used to losing for now."
Yun Wanhe’s face stiffened.
"..."
"That wasn’t very encouraging, Master."
The old man laughed heartily.
’I want to go back to the immortal realm...’ Yun Wanhe thought to himself.
His eyes then went over to something he didn’t want to see...
One of the youthful-looking female masters smiled warmly.
"Young Master, would you care for some tea?"
Before he could answer...
Another elegantly stepped beside him.
"Oh, this blend is much better."
"You should try mine instead."
The first master smiled back.
"Your tea leaves are too bitter."
"Bitter tea builds character."
"So does losing."
The surrounding female masters chuckled.
It looked like it was all in good fun...
But sparks were flying.
Shen Tian could only smile politely.
"Thank you, Seniors. I appreciate the hospitality."
Another female master laughed softly.
"You don’t have to be so formal. We’re simply talking."
As she spoke, she lightly rested a hand on his shoulder in a friendly gesture.
A second master wasn’t about to fall behind.
She gently linked an arm with his for a brief moment before smiling.
"You should come visit my mountain sometime. I have a spiritual spring that’s wonderful for cultivation."
A third stepped forward carrying a plate of fruit.
"Don’t listen to them. My residence has a much denser Spirit Gathering Formation. You’d make much faster progress there."
The old man watched the scene unfold.
"..."
He looked toward the other male masters.
"...Anyone else seeing this?"
One elderly man took another sip of tea.
"I’ve stopped questioning it."
Another nodded.
"At least they’re not arguing with techniques this time."
"They’re arguing over who gets to recruit him."
The old man sighed.
"You shameless bunch."
One of the women looked back at him.
"Can you blame us?"
Another nodded matter-of-factly.
"Finding disciples like him is rarer than you old thing’s getting any play!"
Nearby...
The younger female disciples were still trying to get with Shen Tian.
Several gathered together.
"I really want to suck him off."
"The things I would do to that man."
"I want him to fuck me from behind!"
"I’d love to ask him for cultivation pointers in bed."
One of them finally gathered her courage and approached.
"Senior... Ilearned a lot from watching your match. Would it be alright if I asked you a few questions sometime?"
Shen Tian smiled politely.
"Of course. If I’m able to help, I’d be happy to."
The young woman nearly floated back to her friends.
"He talked to me..."
The others immediately surrounded her with questions.
Yun Wanhe silently watched everything.
"..."
"..."
His fists slowly tightened again.
’Maybe it’s best to ascend as fast as possible...’
He looked toward Shen Tian.
The female masters continued chatting around him.
One poured him another cup of tea.
Yun Wanhe looked down.
"It’s fine... Soon enough I’ll be the one being looked up to."
Just then...
A ringtone interrupted the lively conversation.
Ring... Ring... Ring...
Shen Tian blinked.
"Excuse me for a moment."
He stepped away before taking out his phone.
"Hello?"
A familiar voice came through the speaker.
"Young Master."
It was one of the Shen Family’s staff.
"My apologies for disturbing you."
"What happened?"
"Your mother has told me to tell you... The eldest young miss has landed."
Shen Tian paused.
"She’s back already?"
"Yes."
"Her flight arrived a few minutes ago."
"She is currently waiting at the airport."
"I understand. I’ll head there now."
"Very good, Young Master."
The call ended.
Shen Tian slipped his phone back into his pocket.
For a brief moment...
A nostalgic smile appeared on his face.
"My sister... It’s been a while."
He turned back.
The old man looked over.
"Leaving already?"
Shen Tian nodded apologetically.
"I’m afraid so. My older sister just returned from her training overseas."
"I need to pick her up from the airport."
The old man’s eyes widened.
"Hahaha! Family comes first. Go!"
One of the female masters looked slightly disappointed.
"So soon? I was hoping to continue our conversation."
’I WANTED TO GET HIM INTO BED!’ she yelled inside her head.
Another smiled.
"Perhaps next tournament."
’NOOOOO SUCH A HANDSOME YOUNG MAN!’ She thought.
Shen Tian gave everyone a respectful bow.
"Thank you all for today’s hospitality. It was an honor meeting all of you."
Several of the elders nodded approvingly.
"Safe travels."
"Take care."
"We’ll be looking forward to seeing you again."
The old man waved enthusiastically.
Shen Tian smiled one last time before turning toward the mountain path.
He then made his way down the mountain.
