Chapter 53: Chapter 53: The Celestial Breach

The transition between the mortal world and the divine realm was not a seamless step; it was a violent, physical collision of absolute opposites.

When Kaelen’s heavy, Void-Steel boots stepped through the tear of the Abyssal Gate, the very fabric of heaven screamed. The Lowest Celestial Sphere—known in ancient texts as the Silver Threshold—was a realm of infinite, pristine crystal clouds and towering spires of solid, woven light. It was an environment completely devoid of shadows, designed to purify and disintegrate any dark entity upon entry.

But Kaelen was no longer just a dark entity. He was an Abyssal Demigod.

The moment he crossed the threshold, the suffocating, god-like density of his Level 100 core violently rejected heaven’s laws. The crystal clouds beneath his boots instantly turned putrid and black, shattering into jagged obsidian. The ambient holy mana in the air aggressively hissed, completely vaporized by the hyper-dense void aura radiating from his skin.

He didn’t just enter heaven; he infected it.

"The air is... thin," Kaelen rumbled, his deep voice carrying a terrifying, multi-tonal resonance that physically shook the nearby spires of light. He took a deep breath, his dark eyes scanning the endless, blinding white horizon. "It smells like stagnation and lies."

Behind him, the Abyssal Gate roared.

Seraphina stepped through, her golden eyes dilated with sheer, unadulterated bloodlust. Her Mythic-Tier Eclipse Breaker actively hummed, completely intoxicated by the sheer volume of holy mana waiting to be devoured. Next came Lyriel, melting flawlessly into the newly cast shadows created by Kaelen’s presence. Finally, Elara emerged, her hands glowing with volatile dark alchemy, entirely unbothered by the divine pressure thanks to the Abyssal Trinity link shielding her soul.

But it was Ariel who made the greatest impact.

The Abyssal Valkyrie stepped through the portal and instantly unfurled her six massive, hyper-dense shadow-wings. The sheer wingspan blotted out the blinding light of the Threshold, casting a terrifying, localized eclipse over the crystal plains. She looked upon her former home not with nostalgia, but with absolute, vindictive disgust.

"They know we are here, Emperor," Ariel reported, her corrupted blue eyes narrowing. "The Goddess has sealed the upper spheres. She has deployed the First Choir to quarantine the breach."

As if responding to her words, the distant horizon violently ignited.

A massive, perfectly synchronized phalanx of ten thousand Celestial Sentinels descended from the upper clouds. They were Level 110 Elite Celestials, clad in flawless, blazing platinum armor, wielding long spears of concentrated solar fire. At their head flew a towering, eight-winged Archangel whose presence radiated a blinding, oppressive heat.

"Heretic!" the Archangel’s voice boomed like rolling thunder, carrying the absolute, self-righteous fury of the heavens. "You dare soil the Silver Threshold with your rot?! And you..."

The Archangel’s burning gaze locked onto Ariel. His flawless face twisted in sheer, mind-breaking horror.

"Dawn-Bringer! What has that parasite done to you?! Your light... it is completely gone!"

Ariel hovered slightly above the obsidian floor, a cold, mocking smile gracing her pale lips. She didn’t flinch under the Archangel’s oppressive holy aura.

"He didn’t take my light, Uriel," Ariel’s voice echoed, dripping with dark superiority. "He cured me of it. I am no longer a slave to a false mother."

"Blasphemy!" Uriel roared, raising his solar spear high. "First Choir! Eradicate the taint! Leave nothing but ash!"

The ten thousand Celestial Sentinels charged, diving toward Kaelen’s vanguard like a massive, blinding meteor shower. The sheer kinetic force of their descent threatened to vaporize the surrounding crystal plains.

Kaelen didn’t draw a weapon. He didn’t even drop into a combat stance. He simply looked at his Harem, a wicked, predatory smirk spreading across his handsome face.

"Valkyrie. Vanguard," the Emperor commanded smoothly. "Clip their wings."

"With pleasure, Master," Seraphina hissed.

The fallen High Paladin bent her knees and launched herself directly into the sky, meeting the angelic charge head-on. She swung the Eclipse Breaker in a devastating, vertical upward arc.

"Abyssal Cleave."

A hyper-dense crescent of void mana, completely supercharged by the ambient holy energy it was aggressively devouring, erupted from the blade. The black wave crashed directly into the center of the angelic phalanx.

The elite Sentinels’ holy barriers shattered instantly. The void slash cleanly severed the wings and torsos of over three hundred Level 110 angels in a single, catastrophic strike, raining golden blood and severed limbs down onto the pristine crystal clouds.

Before the angels could even reform their lines, Ariel struck.

The Abyssal Valkyrie didn’t use a sword. She utilized absolute aerial dominance. Beating her massive shadow-wings, Ariel generated a localized, freezing void-hurricane. She shot into the disorganized ranks like a dark comet.

She grabbed a Sentinel by the throat, violently crushing his divine core with her bare hand, and hurled his rapidly rotting corpse into two others.

"Formation! Hold the formation!" Uriel screamed, completely panicked by how effortlessly the mortals were tearing through his elite guard.

"Your formation is flawed," Lyriel whispered perfectly into Uriel’s right ear.

The Archangel violently spun around, but he was too slow. Lyriel had slipped through the shadows cast by the falling angelic corpses. The elven assassin drove her Wyrm-Blight coated daggers directly into the joints of Uriel’s heavy platinum armor, severing his divine tendons before kicking him squarely in the back.

Uriel plummeted from the sky, crashing violently onto the blackened obsidian floor exactly ten paces away from Kaelen’s heavy boots.

The Archangel coughed up a mouthful of golden blood, desperately trying to push himself up with his trembling arms. He looked up at Kaelen, his eyes filled with absolute, primal terror.

"You... you cannot win," Uriel wheezed, his divine matrix aggressively failing under the ambient pressure of the Demigod’s aura. "The Goddess has millions of avatars. She will drown you in light..."

Kaelen slowly walked forward. The sound of his boots clicking against the obsidian was louder than the raging battle above them.

"She doesn’t have millions of avatars," Kaelen corrected smoothly, stopping directly in front of the fallen Archangel. "She has a million batteries. And I am going to unplug every single one of them."

Kaelen reached down, grabbing Uriel by the halo of pure light hovering above his head.

[Passive Effect Triggered: ’God-Eater’.]

Kaelen didn’t just break the halo; he aggressively absorbed it. The Archangel screamed in absolute, mind-shattering agony as Kaelen’s void mana violently invaded his soul, permanently tearing the unique Divine Authority out of his core. Uriel’s body rapidly aged, turning grey and brittle, before completely crumbling into a pile of lifeless, mundane ash.

[Kill: Archangel Uriel (Level 115). +1,500,000 EXP.] [Divine Authority Assimilated: ’Solar Command’. Modifying to ’Void-Flare’.]

Kaelen closed his eyes, taking a deep, intoxicating breath as the massive surge of Level 115 divine experience flooded his newly evolved pathways. The Demigod core inside his chest pulsed heavily, effortlessly digesting the raw celestial power.

The moment Uriel fell, the remaining Sentinels completely broke. Stripped of their commander and terrified by the absolute slaughter occurring in their own sacred realm, the angels turned and desperately fled toward the higher spheres.

Kaelen opened his eyes. They were completely pitch black, radiating an infinitely deep, terrifying gravity.

The glowing blue text of the System rapidly expanded across his vision, officially marking the territory.

[System Notification: Celestial Breach Successful.] [The Silver Threshold has been completely corrupted.] [Territorial Override Complete. The Lowest Heaven is now permanently designated as Floor 16 of the Obsidian Labyrinth.]

Seraphina and Ariel landed gracefully beside him, their armor completely soaked in the golden blood of the heavens. Lyriel melted back into the shadows at his feet, while Elara quickly began harvesting the shattered angelic cores scattered across the obsidian.

"They are running back to her, Emperor," Ariel noted, looking up at the retreating streaks of light fleeing toward the massive, golden gates of the Second Sphere.

"Let them run," Kaelen commanded, a dark, merciless smile dominating his features. He looked out across the infinite expanse of his newest Dungeon Floor. The once-pristine crystal clouds were now rapidly spreading with his corrupted, violet rot. "Let them tell the parasite that her basement is flooded. We rest here tonight. Tomorrow, we take the Second Sphere."
