Chapter 320: C-Countess Mother?

Amelia didn’t hesitate. In one swift motion, she pulled out the artifact she used to track Ethan, her fingers curling tightly around the small enchanted object.

He was there. In that city.

"You’ve been here before..." Amelia clasped the artifact tightly between her palms, pulling it against her own enormous breasts.

Her forearms sank into the proud mounds of soft flesh, the milky skin dimpling around them, molding to every centimeter of contact.

The two plump spheres squeezing against one another, jutting upward as the excess flesh spilled generously over the sides of her arms, quivering faintly with each breath she took.

"Do you remember this place?" She turned her face toward Ysara.

"I came here about ten years ago... this city didn’t exist then, I’m sure of it," Ysara replied, her cold eyes sweeping the horizon.

Whoever had built this would have to wield power incomparable to that of any expert either of them knew.

"Come on, we have to check it out up close," Ysara said immediately afterward, letting a gentle slap land on Amelia’s plump, juicy buttocks.

Her palm sank slightly into the soft cheek before drifting away, leaving the lush flesh to wobble in a slow, heavy sway, a soft ripple traveling from one buttock into the other.

Amelia barely reacted, too absorbed in the sight ahead to notice.

They exchanged glances and, together, advanced through the deforested area surrounding Goldenveil, which stretched into a wide plain around the city.

With every step, the density of mana and aura around them thickened, practically doubling every few dozen meters.

"That’s a Tree of Life... could it be elven work?" Ysara asked, frowning as she tried to make out the majestic silhouette rising in the distance.

"There are humans among the guards, and the armor is dwarven-made, though the cloak is clearly elven fabric," Amelia replied, her sharp eyes examining every detail.

The guards at Goldenveil’s eastern gate were quick to spot the two women and the carriages approaching along the road.

The officer in charge, a talented young elf at the third stage, stepped forward with firm strides.

They received citizens every day, but he could clearly see that each of the hundred mages accompanying the carriages had reached the third stage. The two women leading the group were even more intimidating.

Five other women emerged from behind the lead carriage.

The officer guessed that they were, at the very least, fourth-stage, likely subordinates of those two figures up front.

The fact that he couldn’t sense a thing from the two leaders’ auras meant they had to be at least fifth-stage.

"Report the presence of these women to the Supreme Commander..." the officer ordered, his hand stiffly reaching for the hilt of his sword.

The youngest of the guards didn’t hesitate, dashing toward the city’s interior.

With a sigh, the elven officer stepped forward. "Halt! This is Goldenveil, under the command of Count Ethan Goldenveil! Report your business at once!"

Both Amelia and Ysara froze for a moment.

Ethan Goldenveil...

No...

It couldn’t be...

Neither of them believed Ethan had abandoned the name Darkwall and, in just one year, become the lord of a place like this.

The possibility hadn’t even crossed their minds.

Amelia took a deep breath. "I am Amelia, a mage of the Blue Tower. May I request an audience with your Lord?" Her eyes swept beyond the walls, gazing at a magic tower that rose imposingly on the horizon.

All magic towers were registered with the central empires, without exception. Why was there a magic tower here?

She couldn’t see much of the palace from her angle, but it was clear that an even more magnificent structure stood right beside that tower.

The officer was about to reply when, suddenly, a man with steely eyes and a virile face appeared, clad in powerful mithril armor.

Accompanying him was another man, even more powerful, also wearing mithril armor.

They were Doran and Theron.

Commander of the Goldenveil Army and Commander of the First Legion of Goldenveil.

Doran stopped immediately. "Are you Amelia, Ethan Darkwall’s mother?"

"Yes..." Amelia replied, her eyes turning as cold as blades.

He knew who she was and that she was coming... what the hell kind of place was this?

To her surprise, the moment he confirmed her identity, Doran bowed, his knees hitting the ground with a muffled thud as the mithril struck the earth.

Theron did the same, and the other ten guards protecting the gate—no less confused than Amelia and Ysara—dropped to the ground shortly afterward.

"Doran, Commander of Goldenveil’s Armed Forces, greets Amelia Goldenveil, Countess Mother!"

Amelia came from a family of traitors and had lost her surname because of it, so Doran used Ethan’s surname instead.

Ysara burst out laughing, doubling over with a hand pressed to her stomach, while Amelia repeated in shock, "C-Countess Mother?"

"Yes, My Lady. Lord Ethan Darkwall arrived at the Darkwall settlement about a year ago. From that dying settlement, Lord Ethan founded the glorious Goldenveil, whose name he adopted as his surname!"

"Ahahahaha~ fuck..." Ysara gradually managed to control her laughter, leaning over Amelia and wrapping her in a tight embrace.

Their heavy breasts pressed together in a soft, plush encounter, the plump mounds squishing against one another as the overflowing flesh spilled upward over their necklines, settling into an all-too-familiar fit.

"Just look at what your little Ethan has become, hahaha... can you believe it?" Ysara shook her head, pressing her cheek against her friend’s, who still hadn’t managed to get over the shock.

"Young Master Ethan really is incredible!"

"I always knew he was destined for great glory!"

Amelia’s disciples declared proudly, though their master still seemed frozen in shock.

Finally, Amelia sighed, trying to control the erratic pounding of her heart.

"Can you take me to my little Ethan now?" she asked, still unable to process the magnitude of what she’d just heard.

Her Ethan... her beautiful, adorable Ethan...

Had he built all of this in a year?

No... She didn’t believe it.

Something had to be wrong!

[I know that in the Middle Ages Europe, "Countess-Mother" was usually used to refer to a widowed countess (Dowager Countess). Well, I kept this title for her anyway, because I think it suits her better.]
