Chapter 245: Killing the Enemies
"!!!" The two gunners could see everything that happened from their position. "What?"
"Did both of them just die?"

The rank 3 human had no choice but to release a portion of his power to hit the rock.
Vera, who had gathered her power, saw the opportunity. Vera stepped hard on the ground to halt her momentum and pulled her sword before swinging it from below.

The rank 2 human rushed toward him, trying to stop the attack with the shield.
Vera’s slash produced a line on the ground and continued toward the enemy. When it was about to reach them, the wind exploded and surged upward as though the slash had just been teleported right in front of the enemy.
The rank 2 human, who was supposed to block it, ended up getting blown away, his body bouncing a few times.
"Die!" The rank 3 human sent forth the remaining energy to hit her. There was no way Vera could avoid every one of these attacks.
Vera took a deep breath. There was one thing that the enemy didn’t know. There was a reason Vera was able to become the number one sophomore in Kallarnos University.
It wasn’t her firepower or her sword. Instead, it was her flexibility.
The moment she saw the raining fire whips, Vera started moving, avoiding all of them as if she were dancing.

"What?" The rank 3 man was startled and twisted his body. Unfortunately, he was too late. The bullets pierced his right arm. Due to the power contained in those bullets, they severed his entire right arm in an instant.
Then, Vera closed the gap between them and struck the collapsing barrier, letting it shatter into pieces. As a result, the other bullets were able to surround the rank 3 enemy.
"NO!" The man leaped back, but still took a few hits.
Meanwhile, the enemy with the shield raised his spear and thrust at Vera. She had just shattered the barrier, so she shouldn’t be able to react to his attack.
To his surprise, Vera actually spun her blade and reversed her swing, knocking the spear up.
Then, she spun it back to the original position and swung it down, trying to finish off the enemy.
The enemy raised his shield to block her, but the wind that covered her blade erupted. The wind pressure caused her blade to stop just short of the shield.
"!!!" The man was dumbfounded. He could feel the pressure of getting hit, but he saw that the blade didn’t even make contact. "The wind..."
Vera surprised him one more time by using this wind more creatively. The wind didn’t only prevent the impact, but its movement was also controllable. She made the wind flow in such a way that it would make her blade slide along the shield’s surface.
Once her blade escaped from the shield, she put more force behind her sword, forcefully directing it downward and cutting the man’s arm.
The spear dropped to the ground, and the man screamed. "Aaahhh!"
But Vera’s sword once again bounced before it hit the ground because of her wind element. Using that bounce, she redirected the swing to cut the enemy’s torso, killing him instantly.
Of course, this action was visible to everyone. Besides, she was also out of Eva’s protection.
"You bitch!" The rank 3 gunner immediately shot her. At the same time, the fire-element user produced a massive explosion.
Vera raised her sword and the wind, trying to block at least one attack.
But suddenly, the root that had been covering the enemy’s vision circled around her waist and pulled her back.

The explosion missed her entirely. At the same time, Eva had also moved to the left, making sure that the bullets didn’t reach her.
Eva canceled her barrier and channeled her power into her spear. Her left foot stepped forward as she threw her spear toward the gunners.
"!!!" Panicked, the rank 3 gunner leaped to the side, barely avoiding it. With this, he was convinced that Eva wasn’t rank 3 like him. She was rank 4.
Unfortunately, the other gunner wasn’t so lucky. Her spear flew like a laser beam and destroyed the right side of the gunner’s body, killing him.
To avoid the rank 3 gunner from being able to help, Eva immediately charged at him, closing the distance to keep him occupied.
Meanwhile, Katarina dispersed her bullets and sent them toward the fire-element user.

Then, Vera took a step further and severed his neck.
Although she managed to kill them, there was still one more enemy. She immediately turned around instead of celebrating, only to find that the last enemy had been defeated.
Ellia had sheathed her blade, Eric had recalled his blood, and Eva had grabbed back her spear. They moved so quickly that they didn’t even give the enemy a chance to plead for mercy.
Auric looked around, making sure that no one was nearby. "Well, it looks like the situation is under control."
