Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Welcome to the Show
Azriel stared at the barrage of notifications on the blue interface, blinking rapidly to see if the pixels would dissolve.
They didn’t.
Between the digital glow and the fresh flood of memories from "Azriel Amaros," he knew this wasn’t some fever dream induced by a truck bumper.
This was real.
He took a deep breath, centered himself, and squinted at the first line.
[You have been selected by the Primordial Goddess of Lust and Purity, SERAPHINE]
His new memories confirmed that Tartarus was a world of goddesses.
While gods did exist, they were pale shadows of their counterparts, hamstrung by a biological talent cap that acted as a glass ceiling for every man in this universe.
But even in these fragmented recollections, he had never heard of a Primordial Goddess.
To his mind, they sounded like the absolute CEOs of existence compared to the middle management of a regular deity.
"Primordial Goddess of Lust and Purity?" Azriel muttered, his brow furrowing.
"How the hell do Lust and Purity even go together? That’s like a ’virgin whore’ or a ’holy sin.’ It’s a literal oxymoron."
He shrugged.
"Well, not that I’m complaining. Thanks for the second life and the power-up, Goddess. But look, if you’re eavesdropping... you really could’ve let me hit that one last time."
"I spent a whole week anticipating Elena’s bouncy ass just to get sidelined by truck-kun."
A sultry, chime-like laughter echoed through the room. It sounded like silk dragging over velvet, and it was coming from inside his head.
"Hehehehe~"
"Hey! Who’s there?"
Space itself seemed to ripple, and a figure materialized before him.
Azriel’s heart didn’t just skip a beat, it tried to leap out of his chest.
The woman was a walking contradiction.
She was so devastatingly seductive yet radiated such a sense of "untouchable" innocence that Azriel felt his self-control straining at the seams.
Her hair was a cascading waterfall of iridescent white that glowed with celestial purity, but her eyes, a deep, swirling pink, burned with a hunger that was anything but holy.
And her figure? Calling it a "bomb" was an understatement.
She was an absolute nuclear event.
She had curves that made his previous date look like a cardboard cutout.
Looking at her, Azriel realized Elena White was basically a collection of plastic and filler, this was the masterpiece.
This was the kind of woman a man should be thinking about on his deathbed.
"Hohoho... you have some quite... indecent thoughts, Little Az~"
Azriel jumped, realizing his mental filter was currently non-existent.
"Who are you? How are you reading my mind?"
"Oh? Forgotten me already, little Az? After I went through all the trouble of picking you up off the pavement?"
She drifted toward his bed and sat down, leaning back to accentuate a waist-to-hip ratio that defied the laws of physics.
Azriel glanced from the screen to the goddess. "Y-you... you’re her."
"Indeed. I am Seraphine, the Primordial Goddess of Lust and Purity."
"Why are you here?" Azriel asked, trying to regain his playboy composure despite being shirtless in front of a literal deity.
"To explain your new job, little Az. And to check on my favorite investment."
The "Little Az" bit was starting to grate on his nerves.
In his past life, Azriel was the one in control. Fed up with the teasing, he forgot for a moment that he was talking to the creator of his current soul.
He stepped forward, grabbed her by the shoulders, and pushed her back onto the plush mattress.
He leaned in until their noses were barely an inch apart, his violet eyes flashing.
"Listen," he growled, his voice dropping an octave.
"I’m getting tired of the ’little’ comments. If you want to check, I’m happy to show you exactly how ’big’ I am."
For a split second, Seraphine’s expression went ice-cold.
A crushing, primordial pressure filled the room, making Azriel feel like an ant beneath the boot of existence.
His soul shivered.
But just as quickly as it appeared, the frost melted into a wicked, teasing grin.
Poof.
She vanished from beneath him and reappeared behind him, leaning against the wardrobe.
’Fuuu... I just lost my cool there,’ she thought, her divine heart skipping a beat as she tried to calm her racing thoughts.
"Oh, I’m well aware of your... assets, Little Az."
Azriel spun around, a cold sweat breaking out on his forehead. The bravado vanished as he realized he’d just tried to alpha-male a supreme being.
"Now, now, don’t be nervous. I’m not going to eat you," she said, her voice dropping into a sultry purr.
"Though, you’re welcome to try and eat me... if you think you’re man enough. Hehehe~"
Her playful demeanor didn’t vanish, but it gained a sharp, focused edge.
"Now, let me tell you why you were transmigrated, and more importantly, about that class of yours. The reason for your arrival here is quite simple, really."
She paced the room, her iridescent hair trailing like stardust.
"You see, we Primordial Goddesses sit at the peak. Beneath us are legions of goddesses, who in turn rule over minor deities, angels, and various divine and mortal races. For eons, their existence was a monotonous cycle, nothing but war, politics, and the same old divine drama."
She gestured to the air, and a faint golden grid pulsed through the room.
"To remedy that boredom, we created the AUREALIS Network. It’s a platform where our ’children’ across the multiverse can chat, upload videos, and stream. It provided entertainment for a long time, but after a few more eons, even that started to feel... bland."
"Especially for me."
She leaned in close to his ear, her breath smelling like lotus flowers and trouble.
"So, I went hunting in other universes. I found yours, a world where men rule."
"And I wondered, what would happen if I dropped a dominant, powerful man into a world of women and made him stream his life on the AUREALIS Network?"
She circled him like a predator admiring a prize catch.
"I needed a man who wouldn’t just submit. A man who was stronger, bolder, and more ’appetizing’ than any other in this universe."
"I found you just as that truck—oh, my bad, Truck-kun—was ending your contract with Earth."
"So, I transmigrated you.
"You’re my star attraction now, Azriel."
She offered a slow, devastating smile.
"Welcome to the show."
