The fire died down, and the black smoke dispersed.
Xue Xiaochan and Song Sisi were both stunned into silence by the shock.
It took quite a while for Xue Xiaochan to come back to her senses.
She looked at Qin Feng with disbelief and asked, "Did you bring down that thunder and lightning just now?"
"Yeah! If you dare cheat on me, I’ll strike you with lightning, and that wild man who tried to steal you."

Song Sisi made a phone call to have someone clean up the aftermath.
Yang Xiaodan was taken to the hospital.
The next day.
After fighting ghosts all night, Qin Feng slept until noon.
The sun was high in the sky, and he was still snuggling with his pillow, twisting and turning in bed.
Xue Xiaochan pushed the door open and saw the scene on the bed.
She went over and slapped him across the butt.
"Slap!"
The smack landed on Qin Feng’s buttocks.

In his dream just moments ago, he wasn’t holding a pillow, it was Xue Xiaochan.

In the ward, apart from Song Sisi and two familiar teammates, there was also an unfamiliar man.
The man’s name was Rong Zhiliang, he was the general manager of Mengyu Media, and Yang Xiaodan was one of their contracted hosts.
As soon as he entered the ward, Qin Feng heard Song Sisi arguing with Rong Zhiliang.
So he strode over to Song Sisi’s side and asked Rong Zhiliang, "What’s the meaning of this? Don’t you know that patients need peace and quiet, and that loud noises are prohibited?"

"I’m Yang Xiaodan’s attending physician, and who may you be?"
"Attending physician? That’s perfect. I want to arrange a hospital transfer for Yang Xiaodan. This woman is obstructing me. Hurry and take care of it!"
"Transfer? Why does she need a transfer? And you still haven’t answered me, who exactly are you?"
"I’m the general manager of Mengyu Media, and Yang Xiaodan is our company’s contracted host. She is our employee, and we need to be responsible for her life. Since your hospital hasn’t been able to treat her, it’s only natural to transfer her to a better hospital."
"A better hospital? Which one?"
"Yoshida Hospital."

Therefore, he refused, saying, "Since Yang Xiaodan is my patient, I will absolutely not agree to transfer her before obtaining her consent."

"Even if Yang Xiaodan is a live streamer under contract with your company, she has merely a work relationship with you. Qin Feng did not wish to entangle himself with Rong Zhiliang any further and proceeded to show him the door.

"I don’t know."
"Don’t know? Well, let me tell you. The owner of Mengyu Media is Mr. Lu, Lu Chuyang! The entire north is under the control of his father, Lu Zhengxiong."
Lu Chuyang? Lu Zhengxiong?
After hearing these two names, Qin Feng understood somewhat.
"Yang Xiaodan’s live streaming at Moon Lake, it wouldn’t happen to be your arrangement, would it?"
"As a host contracted by the company, she naturally has to complete the tasks assigned by the company."
This response from Rong Zhiliang clarified everything for Qin Feng.

After handcuffing him, the team members took him away.
The hospital room finally quieted down.

"What mistakes?"

Though the two were bickering, to Xue Xiaochan, it sounded more like flirtatious bantering.
She couldn’t bear to listen any longer, so she interjected, "Scumbag, you were the one who called for his arrest. If this causes trouble for Sisi, you’ll have to take responsibility!"
