Chapter 20: Chapter 20: Lead the Wolf and Expel the Tiger_1
Qian Ruxue helped her kneeling father, Qian Fugui, to his feet and comforted him, "Dad, with me around, you don’t have to be afraid of these punks anymore."
Qian Fugui was a bit dazed, looking at his daughter in disbelief. He pointed at Qin Feng and asked, "Is he really your boyfriend?"
"Yes," Qian Ruxue nodded affirmatively.
Qian Fugui looked at Qin Feng, his expression grave as he asked, "No matter what happens, you must protect Ruxue. Can you do that?"
Qin Feng saw the raging fury in Qian Fugui’s eyes. He knew that having been bullied for so long, suppressed for too long, the man was on the verge of explosion. It seemed Qian Fugui’s past cowardice was to protect his daughter.
The atmosphere became charged to this point, so Qin Feng decided to play along with Qian Ruxue. He nodded and promised, "I can!"
Qian Fugui turned his head and cursed Liang Dalong vociferously, "Fuck your mother! I’ll kill you, you fucking idiot! My daughter has a boyfriend to protect her now. I’ll kill you even if it means going to jail!"
Picking up a steel pipe, Qian Fugui began to whomp Liang Dalong, who cried out in pain as he was beaten, his arms flailing as he rolled on the ground.
Seeing that Liang Dalong was about to be beaten to death, Qin Feng quickly grabbed Qian Fugui, urging, "Uncle Qian, don’t hit him anymore. Killing someone would be a bad end. Beating him like this, giving him a lesson, is enough. If they dare to make trouble again next time, we can beat them up again."
"Qian Fugui, you fucking dare to be so bold? You think with a tough son-in-law, you can stand up to me, huh? I’ll remember today’s grudge. Just you wait!"
Liang Dalong cursed a stream of obscenities and then staggered away, supported by his underlings.
As the man walked off, Qian Ruxue quickly released Qin Feng’s arm and clarified, "That was all pretend just now; don’t take it seriously."
"I know it was fake; naturally, I won’t take it seriously."
Qin Feng took a business card out of his pocket and handed it to Qian Ruxue.
"Shencao Ji Cosmetics Co., Ltd., President’s Assistant, Qin Feng."
After reading the card, Qian Ruxue immediately understood.
"You came to talk about a partnership with Blue Sky Pharmaceuticals?" she asked.
"Yes," Qin Feng nodded.
Qian Fugui took the business card and asked, "Shencao Ji? Is your president Xue Xiaochan?"
"Yes."
After getting a definitive answer, Qian Fugui became furious.
"You have the nerve to come here to talk about partnership? Three years ago, your company directly put me into bankruptcy, and I still haven’t paid off all the bad debt."
"I am truly sorry about what happened three years ago. Coming to Mr. Qian to discuss a partnership this time is to help you recover your losses and then make a fortune," Qin Feng said.
"Partnership? You make it sound so easy! That Liang Dalong who just came, do you know who’s backing him? He’s one of the Loyal Sect’s people. Blue Sky Pharmaceuticals has already been targeted by the Loyal Sect; they want to take over my factory, making it impossible for normal production."
Knowing that Qian Fugui was making calculations, Qin Feng went straight to the point, "Mr. Qian, feel free to state your conditions."
"That Liang Dalong is just a lackey. His boss is called Chen Youtie, the master of Tiezhong Martial Arts Hall. Liang Dalong has caused me almost fifty million in losses, leading his lackeys in smashing, looting, and killing around here. If you can get that money back, I’ll partner with you."
"Okay," Qin Feng agreed.
"Ruxue, go with him."
...
Tiezhong Martial Arts Hall, one of the four major martial arts halls in Zhonghai. ’Tie’ from Chen Youtie and ’Zhong’ from the Loyal Sect. The name signifies Chen Youtie’s loyalty to the Loyal Sect.
Arriving at the entrance of the martial arts hall, Qin Feng glanced at the signboard and noticed that the words "Tiezhong Martial Arts Hall" were written with a fierce aura.
"Are you sure Chen Youtie is inside?"
"Tiezhong Martial Arts Hall has thousands of disciples, each one a master of Martial Tao. Chen Youtie is a Grandmaster, capable of punching through five-centimeter-thick steel plates. If you’re scared, we don’t have to go in."
"Scared? That word doesn’t exist in my dictionary."
The two entered the martial arts hall and a guy with a crew cut was getting hot water from a water dispenser. He was Chen Youtie’s son, Chen Weijie.
Qin Feng walked over and politely asked, "Could you tell me where Chen Youtie is?"
"What did you say?"
"Could you tell me where Chen Youtie is?"
"My father’s name is for you to call?"
Chen Weijie splashed furiously, the hot water in his cup aimed straight at Qin Feng’s face. Qin Feng deftly stepped to the side, avoiding it, and the scalding water ended up on the face of a short, plump disciple behind him.
"Ahh... ahhh..."
The plump disciple clutched his face, screaming hideously.
"You fucking dare to come here to the Tiezhong Martial Arts Hall to make trouble? And have the gall to splash my junior brother with hot water? Close the door, brothers, come here!"
The door slammed shut, and dozens of disciples swarmed in. They surrounded Qin Feng and Qian Ruxue in the middle, with no chance of escape.
"I politely asked you where Chen Youtie was? Without a word, you tried to scald my face with hot water. Thankfully I moved quickly and was not splashed. The hot water you splashed out ended up on your junior brother’s face, causing him to cry out in pain. If anyone’s to blame, it should be you, not me!"
"You damn well calling my dad by his name, is an insult to him! I splashed some hot water on your face as a fucking lesson, to teach you a memory. Isn’t that only right? And you even dared to dodge it? If you hadn’t dodged, would the water have splashed onto my junior brother’s face?"
