Chapter 65: Chapter 65 They will learn.

"I have tried to feed her before, but she hates it and ends up crying for days. I am caring for her because she is under my protection and Gia doesn’t like being away from me." Giovanni replies picking her up and patting her back to allow her to burp.

"Gio I think that during this period of training you should teach her how to-." Deimos begins but gets cut off by Giovanni.

"I thought you were here to help this pack not to advise me on what I should do with my sister. And do not call me Gio. Only the people who are close to me can call me that." Giovanni says to Deimos gently putting Gianna on the floor.

Deimos raises his eyebrows calmly watching Giovanni. I want to laugh. I just find all this extremely cute. Giovanni’s anger as if he were a pup that didn’t get to see his favourite uncle for a long time and Deimos possesses deep affection towards him which is a big thing.

The two males stare at each other neither backing away. Giovanni does not get intimidated by Deimos and calmly awaits what his uncle has to say. The tension is cut as Gianna begins to cry again. Giovanni quickly turns his attention towards his little sister.

" What is it? Why are you crying??" Giovanni kneels wiping her tears away. She just screams flapping her hands up and down.

"Okay hush now. Do you want more milk? Toys? Gia stop it." He tries to bargain with his sister but it does nothing to calm her down.

I analyze her actions and quickly step forward. "May I?" I ask Giovanni as he nods hurriedly. I bend down and pick her up. Taking the blanket from the sofa I cover her in it and bring her to my chest gently. Bouncing on my heels I sway softly as the little pup calms down to small hiccups.

"When a pup flaps her hands around like that it means it wants to be carried and is cold. So cover her in a blanket and hold her to your body. She will feel warm and content." I explain as Giovanni nods his head and walks towards the table. Grabbing a book he writes down something.

Frowning I walk towards him and peep to see what he wrote. I see the page full of scribbles with all the information on pups. I smile softly. Raising my hand I ruffle Giovanni’s hair as he jolts surprised by my action.

"You are a wonderful brother. And you will make a wonderful Alpha." I say softly as bows.

"Thank you, Luna." He whispers clutching his hands together.

"You can ask me about anything when it comes to pups. I delivered them and took care of them before I met Deimos. I will take care of Gianna while I am here so you make sure to concentrate on your lessons okay." I tell him as he nods.

"Thank you. Thank you so much." Giovanni replies with a soft smile.

A soft knock interrupts us and Ragon and Elriam walk in. They have arrived which means our introduction with the pack will start now.

I turn behind Deimos as he watches all of this unfold before him quietly. He gets up quickly fixing his jeans he looks from me to Giovanni. "Let’s meet the pack members now, shall we?" He asks as Giovanni nods and guides us to the pack grounds.

Walking behind Giovanni. I fix the blanket covering Gianna’s head as her eyes droop upon my shoulder. Her tiny hand clutches onto the collar of my shirt as she snuggles into my neck. I smile softly but stop feeling the strong gaze of Deimos on me.

"What?" I ask him lifting my eyebrow.

"Nothing." He replies shaking his head walking faster ahead of me.

I take slow steps as to not disturb the sleeping pup on my shoulder. I pat her back gently bouncing on my feet as I walk. Finally reaching the grounds I find that all the pack members have gathered as per order.

The unmated and juvenile females stand huddled in a group separately from the other members. Their eyes are wary. I see some teeth shown toward me while some growl and snarl at my arrival. They do not like me. I am an abomination in their eyes. I have received this treatment so many times that this behaviour barely has any effect on me at the moment.

I tilt my head to the side my eyes only watching the females. The males are more focused on the power illuminating from Deimos and Ragon. The two males stand tall, head held high. Deimos has his hands behind his back while Ragon stands behind hands folded across his chest.

A high level of testosterone fills the air. Male against male. Communicating with only their eyes. No movement, no aggression just calmness whereas the females are quite the opposite I can feel their arrows of aggression targeted toward me.

I calmly hand over the sleeping pup to Giovanni as Elriam comes to stand behind me. My weapon. The females’ control breaks loose now that there is no pup in my arms. If they attack only I am hurt. They snarl and spit on the ground. Fangs out, claws ready to strike.

Deimos stiffens and Elriam takes a deep breath. Giovanni lets a low growl loose as a warning but the females pay no attention to their Alpha.

"This has happened against our wishes. We do not want you here." A female speaks up for the rest. My eyes calmly stare at her. I show no anger or emotion to her words.

"I understand," I say. "But you don’t know me." I continue. Deimos, Ragon, Giovanni, and the rest of the males take a step back leaving me and Elriam with only the females of the pack.

"We know you. The disgusting Alpha female who killed her own family for power. News spreads like wildfire around here." The female speaks up again her disgust visible in her eyes.

I smile. Elriam flinches visibly. She knows the meaning behind this smile. "So what about it? Do you wish to kill me? Hurt me?" I ask them.

"You are not worthy to have stepped onto our pack lands. Despite what, our Alpha is going through your arrival has forever tarnished our land." The same female speaks up.

"Name. Gaida. Has a little brother of merely four years old. No mate. So-called protector of the females of this pack. Good with knives. Excellent fighting skills... Both parents died in an accident." I say calmly all the information I memorized of this female I saw in the files.

She flinches as a newfound anger sparks in her. "Do not talk about my parents from that mouth of yours." She screams striding towards me.

I don’t make a move as she is seething ready to attack. "Perhaps this was not a good idea." I hear the whisper of Giovanni speaking to my male.

"Tell me, Gaida. The pain you felt when your parents died leaving you nothing but your little brot-" I am cut off by a fist landing harshly on the side of my face snapping it the side. Blood trickles from my busted lip

The females gasp and cover their mouths. Deimos lets out a low growl. The urge to protect rising deep within him. I smirk wiping the blood with the back of my hand staring at her.

"Do you want to know what I like about this group of females? While the males were calm and collected these females stood as a wall of protection showing their aggression toward me. I liked that. It means they will be the strength of the pack. I will train them well." I say to Giovanni keeping my eyes on Gaida.

"Never. We will not let you train u-" Gaida begins as I cut her off quickly grabbing her by her hair and slamming my knee onto her nose. She screams eyes widening as I catch her off guard. She takes a step back preparing herself and runs full speed towards me with nothing but hatred.

Her fist comes to my ribs but I catch them and twist them to the side with full force snapping her wrist. Bearing the pain her teeth bite into her inner cheek as she tries to kick me from below. I grab her knee simply throwing her to the ground. She has had no proper training so I go easy on her.

As she tries to get up. My knee on her spine forces her back down squishing her face into the dirty mud. I put more pressure as she screams in pain. "Do you know what your mistake was? You hit first. You don’t have to play hero all the time. Some things can be resolved by simply talking." I teach her as she struggles beneath me.

"You bitch!" She screams as I laugh.

I grab a fistful of her hair and pull it back towards me. She screams again and I tilt my head to the side. "It’s Luna Lumina to you," I say as she starts chuckling and coughing at the same time.

"You do not deserve that title." She sputters blood leaking from her broken nose.

"Let’s try again shall we?" I put more pressure on my knee as it attacks her spine and pull her hair back again harshly. "I will go for your wrist next," I say calmly.

She screams, cries, and curses but with the pressure that I increase with time. She settles down tears leaking down her eyes from the pain. I wait calmly.

"L-Luna L-Lumina." She says.

"Louder. Let the others hear you." I scream.

"Luna Lumina!" She screams sobbing as I finally get up from her allowing her to breathe.

The females’ whimper in fear, eyes locked on the bleeding female now passed out on the ground. They slowly begin to bow their heads as I took down their strongest. I single-handedly showed them their place. "Luna Lumina. We place ourselves in your hands." They say in unison together.

They will learn.
