Chapter 176: Chapter 176 Happy aura

"Brother. And who is this cute pup in your arms?" Cronus leaves my heat to draw Kal from my male’s limbs. "I bought him everything I could think of as a present for I heard Phobos and Theia are coming. I wish to win against them and be the best uncle Kal possesses."

"You wish to bribe my male with gifts, Cronus?" Deimos laughs as he peeks back to find Cronus’s glamorous presents piled upon each other on the gift table.

Kal smiles wide showing his growing teeth to his uncle, my male has grown to be quite proud of them. "Unquestionably, I adore him so much. He is the first pup in our family, he must be treasured. Are those teeth I see Kal?" Cronus broadens his eyes in fake surprise and bends low to offer him a low reverberating growl of approval to which Kal bounces with glee.

Whilst Deimos and I chortle to their adorable bonding, a sudden silence consumes the noisy chatter of the garden as wildfire. A sizzling aura of unfathomable power oozes out the source to saturate the entirety of the air. One can know who have arrived before eyes meet.

I peer towards the entrance of the garden to find Theia and Phobos proceeding to make their unwavering path towards us. They walk side by side but space put between them is tremendous, it cannot go unnoticeable especially for two mates.

Theia smiles at my wolves fondly in greeting for she knows most of them. Her presence is wholly welcomed by my pack whilst her smile consists of a brightness that sets forth a need to cover my eyes. Sun-kissed blonde hair is neatly combed to be tied up in a messy bun as loose strands frame her forehead. A baby blue floral dress covers her flesh, her legs exposed glistening in the sunlight.

So effortless but so captivating.

Yet as I glimpse at some of the females present, I notice their fiery glares and looks of envy and disgust they spit at her. This was what Deimos had told me of, her beauty her curse. A low vibrating snarl is sent their way my teeth out bared to their eyes in warning. Their orbs widen whilst they immediately bow sinking back into their shells. Theia is one of my females now, she shall be defended and protected.

Phobos possesses a different aura to him, power oozes out from every pore and he carries himself portraying his status above all. His feet bare he resembles a beast more than a male instilling fear in every wolf he trudges past. He need not ask, they make way for him.

Females thirst over his raw wildness he flaunts shamelessly, his pride that he beholds. The tattoos that cover every inch of skin on his left arm is so prominent to the naked eye. It adds fuel to the aura of his wildness. Theia seems unfazed by the females’ open want to her male as though she is quite used to it.

"Your brother is here," I whisper leaning towards my male who possesses a wide grin upon his face.

"I noticed, my female." He chuckles placing a quick delicate kiss on my forehead.

Sky - crystal blue orbs find us and she runs forward fueled by her excitement. This is the first time we all are present together as one family. "Lumina!" Her soft voice beckons me whilst I smile at her. She often reminds me of a pup with the way she speaks and acts.

She sprints towards me pulling me into her relentless embrace, her scent reaches forth to overwhelm my senses. She smells of a certain flower, yet I am unable to pinpoint the type.

"Hello, Theia." I chuckle wrapping my hands around her waist. She feels warm and so very soft as though I am holding one of Kal’s plush toy.

I remember the first time she entered our pack, she embraced my male with affection. Now it is I she holds the most care for. "It is great to finally see you again. I wished to meet you rather than speak on the phone." She says voice faint dripping with sweet honey.

"I feel the same."

"I baked this Genoise cake for your family. It is my mother’s recipe I truly hope you like it." She mutters as I take the warm gateau from her hands. This is not for the pack table but a personal gift so I shall set it on ’our’ table. "And here is Kal’s present, I knitted it to keep him warm in winters." She hands me a tiny red scarf tied by a blue ribbon.

At the tip of the scarf lies Deimos’s and my initials. It is truly exquisite. "Thank you. You are so thoughtful, Theia." A vivid red hue is quick to paint her cheeks as she shyly lowers her head to hide her blooming smile to my words.

"Come, meet my male." I take her hand and guide her towards where Cronus has run off after kidnapping Kal.

"Cronus!" She giggles as her brother comes into view. He launches Kal into the air only to seize him as he falls whilst my male screeches with glee with the feelings just erupt in the pit of his belly to his uncle’s game.

"Goddess, my sister is here. We must flee now, Kal."

"Stop it, I merely wish to say my wishes to him." Theia laughs as she lays eyes on my male. She circles Cronus as a predator often peeking in at the anxious pup. She disappears behind her brother’s back only to pop out and surprise the pup with a funny face. Theia engages with the male this way until he calms to her presence.

"His eyes are stunning, Lumina. Just as Deimos." She beams at the little one as Kal’s anxiety eases. He plays along with her antics seeking for her readying himself for her to appear from behind Cronus to scare him. I can see she has her way with pups, the way she plays with them is delightful to see.

"Indeed, but his stubbornness comes from me I assure you." I snicker at the small tease I put out. Curiosity has me peering behind to discover Deimos engaged in a deep conversation with his brother both possessing a beer bottle in hand taking plenty of swigs in between. Phobos does not talk much merely nodding every once and then or responding with a few curt words. Yet I notice it, Phobos’s prime distraction.

His ocean blues keep glimpsing at Theia who prances around playing with my male, he observes her every smile her every laugh. His eyes capture her entirety engraving her antics in secret. I find her neck bare of his mark and understanding comes into light. I was in the same situation once so it is easy for me to find what is hidden from others.
