Chapter 282: Chapter 280: Deville, Kneel!

"Such powerful strength!"

Mr. Deville’s aura was surging.

Stronger and stronger, more and more powerful.

Finally, because he couldn’t control the power from the Divine Format, it spilled out, causing others in the room to fall to their knees, drenched in sweat.

Mr. Deville carefully felt the power from the Divine Format, and soon understood how to control this mighty power.

This understanding was wondrous, drawing him in.

The aura gradually receded.

However, this power did not disappear; it existed within the Magic Puppet.

A look of confidence appeared on his face.

The vengeful emotions in his mind grew stronger.

It seemed a bit strange, but he was quickly overwhelmed by the strong power and ignored it.

Now, he wanted to seek revenge immediately, to confront Benovia and get to the bottom of things.

But he hadn’t yet familiarized himself with this power.

So he waved a big hand, "Bring out the trial stone from the house!"

He felt that even if a Tier Six Mage came, he could defeat them!

If he couldn’t, it wouldn’t be because his power was insufficient.

It would be because the Magic Puppet’s strength was lacking!

The huge trial stone was transported to the small square of the manor, and Mr. Deville ordered the Magic Puppet.

"Hit with full force!"

The Magic Puppet was enveloped in a thick deep blue light, and in the next moment, a Sword Qi sliced out and penetrated the half-human-sized trial stone.

Bang!

The incredibly hard trial stone shattered into pieces, and in the next second, turned into dust!

This stone, specifically used to test Magic and Magic Power, was extremely solid, with an internal feature that dispersed any instant attack throughout the entire stone.

The larger it was, the more solid.

To cut and destroy it, special tools were needed for slow cutting.

Depending on the stress it endured, the trial stone acquired would be divided into one to six levels, capable of withstanding Tier One to Tier Six Magic attacks, respectively, based on size.

The trial stone turning to dust in front of him was a stone capable of withstanding Tier Five Magic attacks and would break under Tier Six Magic.

But to be shattered into dust like this, unheard of!

Absolute power!

His reasoning was slowly slipping away.

In a daze, Mr. Deville seemed to hear someone scoff, "The power of a God is not something that can be easily controlled."

Normally, he would have pondered deeply, but now all his attention was on the strong power.

He took a deep breath, suppressing the impulse for revenge with the mere rationality he had left: "Crucially, tomorrow morning, bring people with me to confront Benovia directly!"

With absolute power, is there any need for conspiracy and exhausting investigation?

Confront her directly and demand answers!

...

The next morning, as Benovia came out of her room and was about to head to school, she felt a powerful force flying towards them, ignoring the no-fly ban of Huijin City, completely undisguised.

This unknown, unabashed force startled the city defense of Huijin City; both the Royal Family and the Holy Court sensed the power’s strength and promptly dispatched mages of corresponding combat strength.

Incidentally, on the Holy Court’s side, because Mr. Blake from Divine Magic Academy was closest, he was sent over.

Within less than a minute of Mr. Deville’s charge, Blake and a Tier Six Mage from the Royal family arrived nearby and saw the bearer of the mysterious power.

"Mr. Deville?" Blake frowned.

"And beside him is Princess Benovia?" The Royal family’s Tier Six Mage was also momentarily stunned.

Mr. Deville was blocking Benovia, floating in the air, his head lowered, watching Benovia below: "Benovia, I’m giving you a chance. Restore the truth of Nosen’s death for me, tell me who is orchestrating it, and I will spare you."

Benovia looked at Mr. Deville, sensing the same power Anarce had used previously, blinked, and said, "It was the God’s orchestration, you know."

Mr. Deville’s face turned cold, and a terrifying aura exploded forth, pressing down on Benovia.

Benovia’s breath hitched under the immense pressure, feeling as though burdened with a heavy mountain. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

But just as she was about to be forced to her knees, the oppressive force suddenly dissipated.

She was stunned for a moment, then saw two figures appearing before her.

"Headmaster Blake, Uncle Avinuo?"

Benovia breathed a sigh of relief.

Yet, inexplicably, she felt it was not these two who had nullified the pressure. Rather, it seemed that power identified her and voluntarily avoided her.

A very strange sensation, but not the time to delve into it now.

Benovia glanced at Mr. Deville.

"I thought it would be one of my brothers or sisters sneaking around, but it turned out to be Nosen’s father... how bold."

With two Tier Six Mages present, Benovia no longer worried.

The Royal family’s Tier Six Mage Avinuo looked at Mr. Deville and said coldly, "Mr. Deville, what do you mean by this? Do you intend to harm Benovia? Such audacity."

Mr. Deville snorted coldly: "Someone killed my child, it was Benovia handling it, naturally, I want answers. I have no wish to fight you, don’t stand in my way, or the entire Huijin City will accompany my child to the grave!"

If Tier Six Mages battled, even if Huijin City’s defenses were strong, it would be futile.

This city, located deep within the Ista Empire, aside from the Huijin Divine Hall, the Royal Family, and each noble’s manor having their Defense Array, other places were hard to account for, as it was too vast and still expanding.

Blake said, "I don’t know what happened to Mr. Deville’s child; please explain in detail, and let us see what happened. If Her Highness Benovia personally killed them, we will uphold justice for you."

Blake chose his words carefully, considering Benovia was not only the Royal Princess but also the Holy Court’s prospective Holy Daughter.

Under this dual identity, neither the Royal Family nor the Holy Court would sit back and watch as Mr. Deville brazenly took her away.

Mr. Deville snorted coldly, the surge of power made him look down on Blake and Avinuo, the two Tier Six Mages.

He said plainly, "You should ask Benovia."

As the accuser, how could he speak personally?

It should naturally be the ’guilty one’ to explain.

With the standoff ongoing, Mr. Deville’s steward finally arrived with some people.

The steward was drenched in sweat, looking at Mr. Deville, hesitant to speak.

He couldn’t understand why Mr. Deville was being so brazen, as it was completely out of character.

Yet, with Mr. Deville’s power now comparable to a Tier Six Mage, he dared not question it. They didn’t attract the attention of the three powerful mages present.

Seeing this, Blake and Avinuo turned their gaze towards Benovia.

Just as Benovia was about to speak, a barely perceptible revelation suddenly occurred in her mind.

"Make him kneel."

Benovia paused, feeling that barely perceptible revelation, and smiled.

"Mr. Deville..."

She looked at Mr. Deville, gently uttering two words.

"Kneel."

Mr. Deville flew into a rage, brushed past Blake and Avinuo, and charged over.

Only to kneel before Benovia!
