Chapter 406: Chapter 318: Hitting a Wall (2)

And such a situation undoubtedly indicates one thing, that the mystical wall separating the Demon Realm from the Miracle World is intact, otherwise its defense and stability wouldn’t be so strong, its functions wouldn’t be so complete.

Could it be they’ve been deceived? Her Majesty the Dragon Mother and the Seven Great Demon Kings deceived them; in fact, they never went to the Miracle World. The so-called Miracle World is utterly hollow, and the claim that it can be conquered without a bloodbath is just a lie for demons?

Think about it carefully, this legendary Miracle World, none of the demons here now have ever been there; they have no idea about its specifics, not even sure if such a world truly exists.

For so many years before, it was said that the Demon Dragon Emperor was leading battles between this realm and the Miracle World, one day claiming a continent surrendered, the next day saying fierce battles continued somewhere, always a demon returning boasting about countless kills, and occasionally news of who’s who dying in the Miracle World; but who has truly seen it firsthand?

In the past, many demons could verify these claims because they were so-called eyewitnesses.

But now?

Not just now, but recently, every demon that ever invaded the Miracle World has vanished without a trace, not assigned to any ruling area of the Demon Realm, and none have ever returned.

Given the Demon Race’s dominance in All Realms and the vastness of demonic channels, even if unexpected circumstances arose, there wouldn’t be absolutely no shadow or sound, unless they were completely annihilated.

Yet back when the Demon Dragon Emperor fell, and the Seven Great Demon Kings were utterly defeated, it wasn’t so tragic; tens of millions of demons managed to escape back.

So what’s happening this time? Could there be something even more terrifying than the Miracle’s descent?

The ones disappearing are billions of demonic troops and countless powerful beings of all levels. Not to mention they had the ability to resist; even if they’re chased like a herd of over a billion pigs, some would escape!

Not normal, really abnormal!

Although everyone present is a follower of the Guardian Demon God, fundamentally different from the Destruction Demon God Faction, if the fox dies, the rabbit grieves.

Most importantly, the current situation is such that all demons who’ve seen the Miracle World are gone, yet the broken mystical wall that supposedly allowed passage is both hard and intact.

How should these demons who have only heard stories think?

Even if there’s unconditional trust in the higher-ups, believing there’s truly a Great World that’s easily conquerable—what can be done now?

If even Her Majesty the Dragon Mother can’t break this mystical wall, are they really to halt His Majesty the Demon Emperor’s attempt to break through to the Demon God Realm in seclusion, and force him to come out and breach the Miracle World?

Think about it; it’s impossible. Gaining a Great World without effort is indeed a great gain, but compared to the opportunity for Ascension to Divinity, it pales; after all, the previous Demon Dragon Emperor waited desperately for this chance, yet died without attaining it.

Since Illidan Demon Emperor has fortunately sensed a chance for breakthrough, until he succeeds in Ascension or formally fails, who dares disturb him? Whoever disrupts him shall be rightfully torn to pieces.

Thus, blocked at the entrance, the lower-level Demon Race forces are anxious, the upper-level Demon Race elites are murmuring, and the top echelon of eight supreme demons are trembling.

Compared to other demons who can still speculate, suspect, and even indulge in wild thoughts, as those who’ve truly entered the Miracle World, Victor and the Seven Great Demon Kings have the same thought rising in their hearts.

They’ve hit a brick wall...

The worst scenario is that there are terrifying beings surpassing Near Gods on the other side! Crossing over means certain death!

And the better scenario is the Miracle Saint Emperor, after Ascension to Divinity, hasn’t attacked any demons and chose to use his one-time Divine Level power to repair the mystical wall.

But these two scenarios carry huge uncertainties. Take the first possibility, where is there a being stronger than a Near God?

Level 999 is the ultimate limit for the Lower Realm; any power disparity would merely reflect in equipment attributes, so instead of suspecting someone of transcending limits, it’s better to suspect they have a divine artifact that repaired the wall.

The second possibility also seems far-fetched, because they know where Miracle Saint Emperor Lynn ascended. That void is quite distant from both the Miracle World and the Demon Realm; he only ascended as a True God, not an omnipotent Main God capable of reaching that far.

So instead of suspecting Miracle Saint Emperor Lynn crossed the void post-ascension to repair the Miracle World’s wall, suspect that another miracle descended from the Miracle World, and this time the miracle is the repairing of the world wall.

Not to belittle Lynn, but other deities are closer, especially after the Divine Abandonment Continent returned to Miracle World’s territory; they could indeed meddle in Lower Realm affairs, and at least repairing a mere wall by paying some price is feasible.

After all these twists and turns, Victor and the Seven Great Demon Kings exchanged glances and finally drew a conclusion: Besides the mystical wall being hard, nothing else in the Miracle World is formidable now.

As long as they find a way to break this intact mystical wall, the Miracle World beyond it remains utterly empty, left for demons to ravage.

Upon realizing this, Victor, as the main attacker, regained confidence.

Though her power alone can’t handle an unblemished world wall, she never intended to fight alone.

She has by her side the seven legitimate Demon Kings, all elevated to level 985 after refining and reforging the Demon King Order upon their return!

Also with her is the main Demigod squad from the Guardian Demon God Faction!

As well as the new generation of Demon Race elites...well, the last generation was wiped too harshly, this generation hasn’t matured well yet. Actually, only a batch from the Guardian Demon God Faction came over, barely a quarter of Demon Realm’s peak strength.

As for those below, it’s easier to say—the Pioneer Legion of Guardian Demon God Faction, though not as formidable as the Destruction Legion from Destruction Demon God Faction, is more than sufficient to deal with a single Great World, considering the prowess of the Demon Race.

"Gather all power, help me break this damn mystical wall!"

With clarity in mind, Victor gave an order, ready to fulfill the role of Vanguard Officer; it’s most fitting for her to take action because she alone possesses the strength of a Near God. Even though the Seven Great Demon Kings are legitimate, capable of more conveniently and efficiently converting power supply from various levels of demons, their insufficient foundation predetermines their limits won’t reach the top; likely, their efforts would merely cause some minor damage to the wall.

Yet she, Victor, the level 999 Near God Demon Dragon, though self-proclaimed as Her Majesty the Dragon Mother, could actually be considered a Vice Emperor, right?

As long as she assembles power from all sides of the Demon Realm and applies her full strength, she can certainly tear apart the mystical wall like past demons that broke barriers in the Great World.

It’s certain to be achieved! The only uncertainty is the breakage time—possibly ten days to half a month, maybe three to five years, or perhaps taking ages...

But no matter, as long as she doesn’t die of old age, there will surely be the day of breaking the wall. The Miracle World on the other side isn’t so lucky; whether it takes ten days, half a month, or three to five years—even if given a hundred years—it can’t produce another Miracle Saint Emperor, can it?

If the Pantheon truly has the power to dispatch Near Gods to the Lower Realm at any time, surely they would’ve assembled a Near God troop and swept the Demon Realm long ago, why wait for just before the world’s end to send one?

Near Gods are exceedingly rare and supreme in the Lower Realm, but in the Upper Realm, they are merely mass-producible Divine Servants and Envoys; after all, in the resource-plentiful Upper Realm, if it can’t rear a world full of deities, can’t it still produce "top-notch mortals (demons)"?
