They could even believe in one Demon God in the morning and switch to another Demon God by afternoon. Changing beliefs was faster than players switching weapons. Essentially, they could believe, but it was definitely not with sincerity.

Seemingly, whenever someone first meets her, they would think she was the Imperial Consort of the Dragon Emperor. Although this relates greatly to her self-introduction, that’s her entire identity. It’s not possible to just blandly say: Hello, my name is Victor, and I’m an Ancient Demon Dragon, right?

"Illidan Demon Emperor, I harbor no ambition for power struggles. You should be able to see that I am an aging Demon Dragon, with limited remaining life. The allure of power is meaningless to me; the position of Master of the World offers me no benefit. As long as the Demon Emperor does not mind, in my remaining years, I can act as your enforcer, aiding you in conquering more worlds."
Victor seemed earnest in bowing to Lynn. If not for prior briefing by demon wives, he might have believed her somewhat.
The old mother dragon’s words were at most two parts truth, with eight parts lie. Her one truth was likely only her confession regarding age; the rest was entirely untrustworthy.
Her willingness to act as an enforcer might be believed somewhat because for a Near God not of the Demon Emperor, if failing to seize the throne, this was the best possible outcome.
"No demon reveals their ambition. Back when the Late Demon Dragon Emperor was around, wasn’t I lurking in the forest, waiting for him to fall into the abyss, or even suddenly die? In truth, I had the Emperor’s fortune to actually see it happen!"

After all, they’re the Original Demon Race, whereas if the Demon Dragon Race were particular, they hold half Dragon lineage, which isn’t as pure as the Five Great Races.

As Victor’s voice full of queries just fell, seven silhouettes soared skyward from the Demon Emperor Palace, transforming into seven dark glows charging straight towards Illidan Demon Emperor under the blood sun.
