Chapter 365: Chapter 298: Kiss Goodbye

After listening to the Demon King’s sister’s reply, Lynn contemplated for a moment, unable to make a decision immediately, but he leaned more towards resolving the issue rather than subjugating it.

"Pretty much. Once I get what I need, I’ll find an opportunity to deal with her. After all, I need a stable and peaceful Demon Realm, and I can’t stay there forever; she is indeed an unstable element."
In truth, Lynn wasn’t convinced by Ilya nor did he completely deny Liss; he merely chose the simplest and safest course of action.
"So let’s plan how to ambush Victor."
Since Lynn chose to follow the big sister’s proposal, the Greed Demon King had no objections.
She was more focused on the gains, but the prerequisite for taking a gamble was having Lynn to back it up. Without Lynn’s participation, her thoughts were meaningless.
Next, the Seven Great Demon Kings gathered to discuss the plan to assassinate the Near God.
Though it was mostly Ilya and Liss doing the talking with Aya, Sara, and Phantom listening, Hill was asleep at some unknown point, and Betty was hiding under a chair, snacking, the overall atmosphere was quite lively.
After a while, the demon king meeting concluded, and the action plan was finalized, leaving the final decision to Lynn.
As the chief executor of the plan, Lynn had no modifications to the various considerations and detailed arrangements made by the demon king wives, accepting the first version right away, showing himself to be far better than any unscrupulous boss.
Upon the meeting’s end, it was time for Lynn to part temporarily with them.
During the meeting, they had made arrangements for Lynn to return to the Demon Realm in three days under the guise of Illidan Demon Emperor.
Regarding the details, since the Seven Great Demon Kings had previously given Victor the seven Blank Magic Mirrors, Illidan Demon Emperor’s mirror transmission point was gone; he could only return to the adjacent Great World and tear through space to come back.
Alternatively, he could take a "transfer" through the world managed by the Guardian Demon God Faction to directly reach the Demon Realm.
However, to convey Illidan Demon Emperor’s eagerness to return, he would certainly not take the detour through the guardian’s line, so direct passage was more appropriate.
As for after the return, it’ll test Lynn’s acting skills because they couldn’t predict Victor’s direct actions, so dealing with specifics would require adaptation.
Fortunately, Lynn doesn’t need to act for very long in front of Victor. Just bluff a bit for the first few encounters, after which, according to their plan, Victor becomes a corpse, so there won’t be any more acting required.

Lynn, not being of a performance background, wasn’t very confident, but with solid strength, he was quite assured.

Other demon kings reacted differently. Betty seemed eager, wanting to sample and see if the Demon Emperor was tasty enough.
As the big sister, Ilya was clearly unwilling to fall behind the Demon Queen, feeling the need not to rank dead last among her sisters in this regard.
Aya and Sara were indifferent, not seeking to lead or lag behind, as long as at least three sisters set an example, they’d follow suit.
Phantom was the most timid, despite being the Lust Demon King who dominated demonic lust nature, she was the least forward among the otherwise pure-hearted Seven Great Demon Kings. Without someone prodding her from behind, she likely wouldn’t make the first move.
As for Hill...
Oh, she’s still asleep.
"Why are you all dawdling? I’m leaving now. The next meeting will be three days later. Are you still hesitating?"
Glancing around at the varying expressions of his demon king wives, Lynn first held Liss’s head and kissed her hard, and as she hummed softly, he lowered her back to her original place.
