Chapter 648: Divine Battle — Part 4

"..." Since I can’t defend against the attack, I first form my dress with my divine weapon, but I keep it very light to have an extra layer of defense, different from my true form where it was better to be naked.

’Damn, and I called Elysia a pantyless slut, but now I’m the one with no panties...’ Intrusive thoughts invade my mind for a moment as I cover my leg with my divine weapon, shaping it into an anklet.

I use texture alteration to create a mix of elasticity, softness, and greater amplitude, and along with that, I use the Fundamentals of Creation and what I know of Universal Laws to locally alter the dimension we’re in.

With that, I swing my leg into a powerful kick. Elysia’s attack slams against my leg and the two generate a collision. The beam tries to repel my leg, but I use all my strength to kick and deflect the magic back at Elysia.

The bones in my leg turned to dust, but I managed to avoid the worst of the damage by redirecting the attack, so my divine weapon stops covering my leg so it won’t interfere with the regeneration.

"What an annoying woman..." I murmur, seeing so many points of light in the distance that I can’t even measure how many attacks she’s firing at me, but obviously I’m not just going to let this slide.

’I can’t transform back into my true form...’ I aim toward Elysia’s position.

"[Doom: I temporarily sacrifice my true transformation for the next 30 minutes, in exchange for a shot of energy capable of erasing any form of Mana that is not an attack of the Doom element]" I impose restrictions and a very narrow request to avoid an overly expensive cost.

"..." From the palm of my hand, a small sphere emerges, and then I fire the sphere, which starts to expand. The farther it goes, the larger the sphere becomes, and as it approaches, it collides with Elysia’s attacks and "devours" them, erasing all of her attacks.

Soon the sphere stops, probably colliding with Elysia, and to my surprise, she deflects it back at me. The sphere expands even further, coming in my direction, now already the size of a small planet.

"Is that how you want to play?" I cover my fists with my divine weapon and coat them with Mana of the Doom element, and when the red sphere reaches me, I punch it, sending it back.

It accelerates, returning even faster and larger toward Elysia, but she deflects it again, and I deflect it once more. The more we repeat this, the larger and faster it becomes, growing so immense that its area has already left my field of vision.

’T-This is getting dangerous.’ The magic that composes the sphere becomes increasingly unstable, and I think even Elysia has already noticed that this thing is going to explode and affect both of us.

A sound like electrical static starts happening all around, but the sound is so loud it begins to resemble thunder, and the sphere is already so fast that it’s getting hard to deflect.

At this point, it ends up growing so large that it’s no longer a game of deflecting, and instead we start sending it back at each other with centimeters of difference.

I start punching forward nonstop, while Elysia, doing whatever she’s doing, keeps sending it against me. Now it doesn’t even have room to grow anymore, so it pushes me backward while it begins to pulse violently.

"[Pandora, what the hell are you doing? I can feel the magic from here!!!]" I receive a message through the system that comes from Azraelith, but I just ignore it. I’m too busy thinking about how to survive this anti-universe bomb that Elysia and I accidentally created.

"Huh?" The sphere suddenly starts shrinking in size. My instincts go on extreme danger alert.

"Oh no!!" The sphere has begun to compress, which means it’s going to explode in a violent release of energy. I look toward an intense golden glow floating and see Elysia, who is planning to escape.

"Oh no, you damn bitch!! You’re not getting out of here!!" I use zero-time speed to appear instantly in her direction, kicking her face and shoving her away from the golden portal.

"Are you insane, you wretch!" She screams at me, firing countless golden blades against me, but I just punch the portal, destroying it before it finishes opening.

"We’re going to explode together, you fucking whore!!" I press forward against her with a barrage of punches while she also uses her fists to match me, but her gaze keeps darting to the sphere that continues compressing.

"Stupid aberration, you’ll take damage too. Staying here is simply irrational." She curses me as our punches match with equal force. She seems desperate, and her mistake lets me land a punch on her face.

"If I’m going to get hit by this explosion, I’d rather make sure you get hit along with me. I hope you have a lot of regeneration." I say mockingly, landing a knee strike to her ribs, spinning my body, and fitting a kick to her neck while I pull her leg with my tail to destabilize her in the air.

But then we hear a hum, followed by a crack. Both of us stop fighting and look down, seeing that the immense sphere of magic has compressed down to the size of a grape.

"YOU WRETCH!!" Elysia lunges at me, grabbing my throat with pure hatred as immense purple rays are released from the magic sphere that has collapsed.

"You, Pandora!! You have just become the being I hate most in all of existence!! You are worse than the bitch of a mother you have!! You are a being I will make a point of erasing from existence in the most painful way possible!" She pours her hatred onto me as I punch her in the face, shoving her backward.

Before either of us can attack again, the sphere expands so violently in a massive explosion of energy that it hits us. I start being pushed upward as if the explosion were solid while my body begins to turn to ash from the immense heat generated. Even a star collapsing into a massive supernova wouldn’t have this much heat.

"[Doom: I sacrifice 15% of my magic in exchange for resistance to the release of any form of energy originating from the Doom element for the next two days]" When I use this, I feel my magic decaying rapidly.

And the attack becomes more bearable. My body stops being destroyed, although the shockwave isn’t counted as energy originating from the Doom element, so I still come out injured.

The energy expansion lasts a few minutes before becoming less massive, which drops me inside the energy itself. It’s like a Big Bang, and I soon start falling, plunging through this immense mass of energy.

CRASH

"Ugh!" I vomit blood, feeling a sword impale me, piercing through my dress. I look back and see Elysia. Her entire body is literally golden, as if she were made of pure gold.

’S-She resisted almost without damage?’ Despite that, I feel that her magic has decayed considerably. I grab the sword to prevent her from moving it freely and slicing me in two.

"U-Urgh hgmm!" She starts twisting the blade, expanding the hole as blood drips down my body. The blood that drips onto the energy is evaporated immediately while the veins in my eyes bulge in pain.

"Don’t underestimate me so much, brat. To me, you’re like a baby who hasn’t even left her diapers yet. You think it’s that easy to kill a goddess? I’ve survived much worse things." She starts pressing the blade, tearing my flesh that can’t regenerate.

Now that my magic has dropped to 70% of the original amount, my defense has been reduced. As much as I was trying to conserve magic, the costs of fighting her are higher than I would like.

"[Chronos Extasis Paralyze]" She uses some strange time magic. A gray sphere appears around us, and with that, my regeneration completely stops happening, and my Mana stops circulating through my body, although Elysia’s Mana also stops circulating.

"A-Aaaargh..." I start crying in pain as her sword begins to hurt intensely. I gasp, feeling as if I’m being burned from the inside, and the sight of everything around us glowing in red and white hurts my vision.

"You really hate me a lot, Elysia, but your hatred is kind of bizarre, isn’t it? I’m your niece—"

"NO! You are nothing to me, Pandora! You are not family to me, just as Echidna is not my sister!!"

"Lie to yourself all you want, Elysia." I look back, pushing the blade out from inside me while she struggles to push it back in and maintain the wound, trying to kill me through damage that won’t regenerate.

"Don’t worry, Auntie. I’m sure I’ll win, and I’ll make you regret it." The wound starts to deform, as the flesh grows teeth into an improvised mouth, and I bite her sword.

"KYAAAAA!" Elysia screams in pain. After all, divine weapons are part of the soul. I bite harder, trying to devour her divine weapon. Elysia, realizing the danger, pulls the weapon with all her strength, taking it out of my body as the mouth and my back dissolve, and I seal the wound on both sides with my divine weapon.

"This fight is still far from over, Auntie, so don’t think you can kill me with a mere sword strike. I’ve survived much worse things." I throw her words back at her with pure mockery, making her grind her teeth in hatred.
