Chapter 818: 818 - Death (01)
"The flames are devouring him too... this crazy bastard wants to kill everything here!" the Elder of the Celestial Will shouted, watching Qingyi’s scales melt against his own flesh.
"Doesn’t he have any idea what will happen if he unleashes the uncontrolled flames of primordial chaos upon the world?!"
For an instant, the Elder of the Celestial Will shuddered from head to toe.
Although this was a secret realm of the Celestial Heaven, it remained a spatial pocket at its core, and spatial pockets existed, in essence, in a layer just below the Land of the True Gods.
If Qingyi’s uncontrolled flames of primordial chaos were to make contact with the flames of life surrounding the Realm of the True Gods...
The chances were slim, but just thinking about the possibility was enough to make the Elder of the Celestial Will’s heart sink like a stone in his chest.
"We must return... NOW!"
The voice of the Elder of Heavenly Will tore through the air, filled with urgency.
"But... the formation isn’t stable yet... it’ll be too dangerous to cross."
One of his subordinates hesitated, his face as pale as a corpse’s, lips trembling as he stared at the portal rippling erratically before them.
They had to wait ten minutes for the portal to stabilize before they could go back again!
"If you want, stay and die!"

The Elder didn’t hesitate for even a single second, throwing himself into the portal without so much as a glance back.
His figure was swallowed by the distorted light of the formation, leaving only a trail of crackling Qi in his wake.
He would rather risk grievous injuries during the crossing a thousand times over than face the absolute certainty of being reduced to ashes by the flames of primordial chaos.
Everyone there froze for a brief moment, but sensing the terror in the Elder’s voice, one by one they plunged into the portal.
No one understood how an insignificant cultivator from the lower realms could instill such dread.
Even so, none of them wanted to stick around to find out—not after seeing that not even the Dragon Elder had been able to handle those flames.
Qingyi’s jaws parted slowly, his colossal body emerging like a black shadow from the roiling gray flames.
The black scales above his eyes had already melted, dripping like molten wax over his pupils and blinding him completely.
Still, he knew exactly where to aim.
From the depths of his throat, a sea of purple flames erupted, the very air warping into rippling waves of incandescent heat around him.
Spirals of primordial chaos flames coiled around the draconic breath like hungry serpents in search of flesh, wrapping the attack in a cocoon of death.
[Qingyi... what are you doing? Stop now! You must not die!]
The system’s voice echoed inside his mind, and for the third time, Qingyi felt it lose all composure, overcome by panic.
But he paid it no heed.

The pain was terrible.
Every part of him screamed in the deepest agony, every nerve becoming a red-hot steel wire embedded in his flesh.
He had never felt anything worse in his entire existence.
Yet, blinded by hatred and despair, all he wanted was the death of everyone there. Let them all burn alongside him, down to the last spark.
His claws dug into the ground, sinking deep into the cracked stone as he braced himself to attack.
"He’s going to target the portal! We have to defend it!"
The Dragon Elder shouted, turning abruptly toward the Elder of Celestial Will.
The moment his eyes met the jade platform, he saw Yaori at last, crawling toward the portal, leaving a dark trail of blood across the polished stone.
There was no time to curse.
He had already felt the primordial chaos flames climbing the primordial pillars keeping that secret realm alive, corroding them like acid devouring bone.
If he didn’t stop this attack, everything would collapse, and he would find himself trapped in the cosmic abyss—a region that existed outside all realms, one that slowly killed everything imprisoned within it.
The Dragon Elder threw himself in front of Qingyi’s attack, hands moving in swift gestures.
A barrier of snow-white Qi rose around him, dense and imposing.
Behind that barrier, a spear materialized, stretching for hundreds of meters and radiating a power that, on its own, could destroy the entire celestial heavens.
"Are you willing to kill everything in this world, including yourself, just because we touched that girl, you brat? Do you know how many will die if your flames reach the Land of the True Gods?"

The Dragon Elder demanded, his voice trembling between fury and something bordering on despair.
"I will kill every last ray of light, hope and life, if necessary!"
Qingyi’s voice echoed like a growl from the depths of hell, each word reverberating through the very flesh of the secret realm.
"I will plunge you and this entire pathetic region into darkness! Today, none of us will leave here alive! Billions... trillions... I will gladly bear the sin on my back and burn in the depths of the seven hells with a smile on my face!"
He roared, and like a beam of death gleaming between the purple flames of his draconic breath and the devouring darkness of primordial chaos, the attack burst forth.
For a moment, there was silence.
In the next instant, everything shattered.
Reality itself collapsed around them. The primordial laws governing that place, already unable to recover, were utterly devoured by the primordial chaos flames.
The white barrier and the flames collided in an explosion so absolute it became silent, engulfing the entire secret realm in a single instant.
More than a million kilometers collapsed completely, folding in on themselves like a crumpled scroll.
All life was wiped out.
Gigantic mountains shattered like crystal as the skies cracked like thin glass, cascading in a shower of glittering fragments toward the ground and revealing the infinite darkness that lay hidden behind them.
