Chapter 753: 753 - End this with a single blow

The very moment Qingyi’s strike struck Bai Hu Lie’s crossed arms, the tiger shifted his stance, bringing his feet together in an explosive movement and launching a double kick straight at Qingyi’s chest.

With no time to defend himself, the handsome young man was hurled backward like an arrow released from its string, his body leaving the crater in a shower of debris before landing abruptly in one of the few areas of the arena that had not yet been reduced to rubble.

He gasped, struggling to stay on his feet, his robes reduced to tatters and his powerful body exposed to the audience, stained with sweat and blood.

Only his black pants remained, covering his private parts with some dignity.

Every muscle had been pushed to its absolute limit, throbbing with pain, while deep cuts covered his entire skin, marks of the relentless exchange of blows between the two.

It had been a long time since he’d felt this exhausted.

Qingyi took a deep breath, filling his lungs with the hot, dust-saturated air of the arena before slowly exhaling it, forcing the exhaustion away.

From the center of the crater, he saw Bai Hu Lie rise as well, his white fur drenched in red with his own blood, the divine aura surrounding him already wavering, on the verge of dissipating.

Neither of them was in good shape.

"Ah... want to end this with a single blow, Brother Bai Hu Lie?" Qingyi asked, assuming a fighting stance and pushing his fatigue to the back of his mind.

Upon hearing that, Bai Hu Lie let out a loud, wild laugh that echoed through the ruined arena.

"Let’s go! Let the world know our true power!" He clenched his fist, his eyes shining with an even fiercer intensity.

All the aura covering his body suddenly converged into a single point, enveloping his hand like a glove woven from clouds in the midst of a gale.

Qingyi did the same, summoning his lightning Qi, his fist becoming covered by a glove of crackling Qi, similar to the one enveloping Bai Hu Lie’s hand.

The two stared at each other for a moment charged with tension, and then they punched.

The audience couldn’t see a thing, for the moment their fists collided, a violent wave of dust and debris rose, the darkness pierced by the white of Bai Hu Lie’s divine Qi and the electric bolts dancing around Qingyi.

In the next instant, the shockwave from the blows finally dispersed, sweeping the dust from the arena and revealing the two figures with their fists pressed against one another, their gazes locked as they poured every ounce of strength they had left into the fight.

"Ah... fuck..." Qingyi growled through bloodied teeth, his eyes flashing with pure determination.

At that moment, he finally unleashed the power of his bloodline, letting it crash down upon Bai Hu Lie and breaking the stalemate between their forces in one fell swoop.

The tiger didn’t even realize what had happened, as the physical exertion had already drained much of his consciousness. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

His body was hurled backward in an explosion of light and power, breaking the sound barrier before crashing into the arena wall with a deafening crash, causing the entire stands to tremble.

Suddenly, Qingyi, gasping for breath and with the metallic taste of blood still in his mouth, was the only one left standing in the arena, his body covered in severe wounds.

Honestly, if he had used the power of his bloodline from the start, as Bai Hu Lie did, he would have barely suffered a scratch, but where would the fun be in a fight like that?

Qingyi’s lips curved into a slight smile as he raised his gaze to the Peacock Patriarch.

"Long Qingyi... Young Lord of the Cosmic Dawn Sect, congratulations..." The Peacock Patriarch’s voice echoed through the coliseum. "Congratulations on achieving victory in our grand tournament! I am truly fortunate to be able to witness such great talent with my own eyes."

Qingyi merely smiled bitterly, turning his gaze to the audience, who cheered him on ceaselessly, shouting his name until they were hoarse.

"Truly. Both Qingyi and Bai Hu Lie would be very welcome in the Celestial Orthodox Martial Alliance," Elder Ling said, letting out a heavy sigh.

From his robes, he withdrew a blank piece of paper, on which he used his Qi to quickly write a few words before sealing it and marking it with his personal seal.

Without hesitation, he sent the letter flying toward the patriarch of the Myriad Beasts Clan, who had descended into the arena to tend to his injured son.

"Although I have already given my token of recommendation to Qingyi, I can still write a letter of recommendation, even if it carries far less weight than the token."

As he took the letter in his hands, the old tiger’s eyes gleamed, and he nodded vigorously.

Apparently, he would have to send his son to the central region as well.

Qingyi, still standing in the center of the arena, wasn’t paying attention to any of this.

His eyes were deep and distant, and he finally let his consciousness drift away.

His vision darkened, and his body began to lean forward.

Yunxi was the first to move, but Rouxi, even though she reacted a moment later, was faster thanks to her cultivation in the Star Sovereign realm.

Only Rou’er lagged behind, being the last to arrive, as her cultivation was the lowest among the three.

Yunxi’s snow-white breasts collided with Rouxi’s large, pale breasts, the fleshy sides pressing against one another in a heavy, gentle undulation, forming a soft valley where Qingyi’s unconscious face landed right in the middle.

Both of them grabbed him at the same time, two huge pairs of breasts engulfing his face in a soft, warm embrace, the creamy skin molding against his cheeks and trapping him in a mattress of fragrant flesh.

That only aroused even more envy in the onlookers.

Wasn’t Qingyi just too lucky?
