What a Coincidence
Turned out that the dinner feast was actually a trap.
Her parents wanted to fatten her up so that they could sell her off.
Sigh, she had to get married within the year, so this dinner feast was sort of a celebration!
Liuli felt resentful. She was only 18 years old!
Moreover, she didn’t know what the man from the Tang family looked like.
If he was handsome, she would make do with it. If he was too ugly, could she cancel the engagement?
At this moment, Liuli still didn’t know that Jingxing was Tang Moxi.
The person who was getting married to her before she was born was man Tang, whom she wanted to pounce on the moment she saw him…
It was Tang Moxi, who had sent her home!
Of course, Liuli only discovered the truth later on!
It was fate!
After Liuli tossed and turned in bed the entire night, she felt that she couldn’t just sit back and do nothing.
She should go to the Tang family and discuss it with Elder Tang.
Perhaps Elder Tang would be happy to see her.
When he was in a good mood, energetic, and healthy, perhaps he wouldn’t urge her to marry his grandson anymore.
Liuli was so excited by her plan that she couldn’t sleep.
She woke up in the morning with dark circles under her eyes.
“You went to steal chickens yesterday?” Lin Yu looked at her daughter in amusement.
“I didn’t steal a chicken. I just didn’t sleep well!” Liuli pouted as she said.
“Don’t think about it. Some things are destined to happen. You can’t avoid it no matter what.
If it’s not yours, you can’t force it.” Lin Yu sighed as she comforted her daughter.
“Mom, I didn’t realize how philosophical you were before!” Liuli immediately smiled at her mother.
Then, Lin Yu rolled her eyes at Liuli.
“I heated up breakfast for you, so hurry up and eat!” With that, Lin Yu continued to tidy up the house.
“Is everyone done eating?” Liuli asked as she rubbed her face.
“Everyone is done eating. Who sleeps in so late like you?
If your grandmother hadn’t been so concerned about you that she didn’t let me wake you up,
would you be able to sleep until now?!”
“She treats me the best!” Liuli couldn’t help but say with emotion.
The next second, she met her mother’s gaze and added,
“You treat me well too!”
Lin Yu burst out laughing.
“I don’t know who you take after, but you’re such a sweet talker!”
Liuli smiled as she went into the kitchen to look for food.
She thought to herself that she was probably the same as her father!
After breakfast, Liuli went to talk to her grandmother for a while.
Then, she carried a small bag out and prepared to leave.
She told her mother that she was going out to play with her classmates!
Actually, she planned to go to the Tang family’s home personally.
