Chapter 207: Chapter 205: Epilogue (Part 2)

After having his fill, she looked at the exposed skin above his neck covered in bite marks and nodded in satisfaction, but unexpectedly, Rah showed no remorse and suddenly hugged her waist.

Wen Shu frowned and opened her eyes wide, slapped his hand off her waist, "What are you doing?"

Rah breathed heavily, thinking she might want more but hesitated to ask, burying his face in her embrace, he teased, "I, I want more."

Feeling his big hand kneading, Wen Shu recalled losing control last night and quickly pushed him away, "Rah, I’m angry, you better..."

Before she could finish, Rah grasped her hand, lifted her thin robe with one hand, and indicated with his eyes for her to look down.

Seeing his unabashed and bold display, Wen Shu bit her lip and slightly widened her eyes, "You... you’re simply shameless!"

"In the future, you’re not allowed to lick randomly, leaving so many marks on me!"

She grabbed the blanket and covered him entirely, left with a final remark, and stormed out of the bedroom to find Wu Xuan.

Life on the island was stable and beautiful, bored at home, they almost lived by the seaside, sunbathing during the day, and dining on the beach with the sea breeze at night.

Wen Shu healed all the red marks on her body, feeling almost tearful.

Recently, her superpower was used entirely on herself, either healing redness or marks.

Rubbing her face, she walked out of the villa and immediately saw the males busy at the beach.

Nan and Luo Fei were setting up a stove, Yining was handling the ingredients, and Mious and Wu Xuan were feeding the children.

In recent days, Mious grew especially close to Xiao Wen Yang, not only feeding him personally at meals but also bringing him to meetings.

Previously, Mious avoided them, but Wen Shu was pleased their relationship was improving.

However, she always felt that over the past few days, Yangyang, once a cheerful little cub, seemed to grow more serious following Mious?

"...An illusion, it must be an illusion!"

A cub that couldn’t speak couldn’t possibly resemble seriousness.

She shook her head, stepping towards the soft white sand.

Hearing footsteps, Wu Xuan nearby raised his head, his golden eyes slightly curved, his handsome face shining with gentle light.

"Ashu, come here!" He straightened his tall and sturdy figure, holding the tiny cub in his arms, greeting her, "Mom’s here, Xi Xi, are you happy?"

His smile was genuine, and when he looked down at the cub, his eyes were filled with tenderness.

Wen Shu’s breath paused as she looked at his face bathed in golden light, unable to take her eyes off.

Her heart filled with warmth, she slowly sat next to Wu Xuan, receiving a gentle kiss, and propped her face, gazing at his tender profile.

Wu Xuan’s eyebrows curved, feeding the child, feeling his ears heat up under her gaze, he leaned closer, whispering, "Why do you keep looking at me?"

Wen Shu looked at his focused eyebrows, silent for a moment, then fuzzily said, "Wu Xuan, let’s have a child too?"

Understanding her words, Wu Xuan’s movements paused, his pupils dilated, his expression unable to hide surprise and a trace of unnoticeable excitement.

But just momentarily, his smile eased slightly, his large hand gathering Wen Shu’s long hair, feigning helplessness, complaining, "Children are noisy, Xi Xi and Yangyang are enough."

He refused lightly but Wen Shu wasn’t foolish; living on the island for so long, she could clearly see Wu Xuan actually liked cubs.

She knew what Wu Xuan was concerned about, she indeed didn’t much enjoy nurturing life, but...

Wen Shu curved the corner of her eyes, hugging Wu Xuan’s arm, gently leaning on his shoulder, "Wu Xuan, I want to have a child that’s truly ours."

Her voice was extremely light, the sea breeze softly swept through, carrying her words away, yet Wu Xuan heard clearly; he looked down at Wen Shu, meeting her earnest eyes, quietly slowing his breath.

At this moment, Nan lit the stove, looked up at Wen Shu, using tongs to grab the ingredients, calling them, "Come eat, food is ready."

The marinated seafood sizzled with oil on the iron plate of the stove, its aroma so intense from meters away, making one’s mouth water.

Although they’d had lunch, with so much physical exertion, Wen Shu’s stomach was already rumbling, she impatiently pulled Wu Xuan, sat by the stove, and began helping.

When the grilling was about done, the males gathered around the stove.

Rah had just finished his bath, and with his spot taken, boldly sat across from Wen Shu, deliberately exposing his open neckline, revealing the patch of bite marks, drawing frequent glances from others. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

Luo Fei, closest to him, received a provocative glance, nearly cutting himself with the Bone Knife while slicing meat.

Unhappy, he pressed his lips tight, looking at Wen Shu talking with Nan, an entire month passed, she still refused to speak with him...

Nan sliced the prepared squid into several sections, placed them on a nearby plate, and pushed it towards Wen Shu, "At the end of next month, I’ll go procure some island specialties and head straight to Alentia?"

His voice was soft, Wen Shu picked up the plate and nodded, Nan was thorough in his work, she always felt assured.

The warm firelight danced on her cheeks, Nan quietly approached, his arm closely touching her shoulder, softly saying, "Ashu, tonight you..."

Before he could finish, a voice forcefully interrupted him.

"Ashu."

Wen Shu was chewing her food, another dish appeared in front of her, she looked up, seeing Luo Fei’s downcast face.

He squatted behind her, his sharp and pretty eyebrows brimming with remorse.

Before she spoke, his chin rested in the hollow of her neck, his warm face lightly brushing over her earlobe, "Ashu, I really know I was wrong..."

The pitiful plea lingered in her ear.

Though a month had passed, Wen Shu was no longer angry, but Luo Fei had a notoriously bad temperament, if he wasn’t taught a lesson, he’d dare next time.

But it had been so long, he ought to have learned his lesson.

She pretended to be angry, her eyebrows knitted, seeing him so anxious his eyes rimmed red, she snorted lightly with a smile, "No next time."

Understanding her hidden meaning, Luo Feihong’s red eyes brightened, he eagerly embraced her, repeatedly nodding, "You’ve forgiven me? I didn’t mean it, I was just too excited, I’ll never do it again! Really!"

"Okay, okay," Wen Shu laughed lightly in his arms but hadn’t had her fill yet, gently pushing him away, "Let go first, I’ll taste how good your grilling is."

"I’ll feed you." Luo Fei released her, seeing no place to sit nearby, he sat behind her, cradling her in his arms.

Having not been close to him for a while, Wen Shu did not resist, leaning in his embrace, opening her mouth whenever needed, occasionally teasing Xi Xi beside her.

Feeling bored, she listened to Yining and Mious discussing Beast City issues, drowsy in the sound of the waves.

As night fell, the dark sky scattered with stars.

Wen Shu glanced at the horizon, moving her gaze from the rolling waves, her clear eyes reflecting the faces of the males dyed red by the firelight.

"Ashu, what’s wrong?"

The warm fingertip brushed past her eye corner, she looked up to meet Wu Xuan’s gaze, seeing tears on his fingertips, her eyes curved.

"So good," she chuckled lightly, holding Wu Xuan’s hand, "to have met you all..."

The murmurs on the glowing coast drifted into the night with the gentle breeze.

Every summer thereafter, a loving couple would come to the island for vacation, and beastmen near the coast often encountered them.

They were intimately close, occasionally having their ups and downs, but always so blissful that it made one envious.
