Chapter 816: Chapter 817 Why Are You Avoiding Me 1
"Is that so?" Mo Yan thought about it and realized that it might be true. If she kept pretending to be someone she wasn’t, it would be exhausting, and she might lose Xu Yang.
With a smile, Mo Yan dismissed the idea she had just considered.
"Alright, I’ll interact with him in the way I like. Oh, I nearly forgot, I have a date with him. I have to go now, you can take a cab back later."
"Okay." Mo Ran’s lips curled slightly.
After Mo Yan left, she continued to sit in the café, planning to stay a bit longer before heading back.
A person suddenly sat across from her. Mo Ran looked up and met Fujiwara Ize’s dark, shining eyes.
The dance class had been open for a few days, and other than the ribbon-cutting ceremony, he hadn’t shown up since.
Seeing him, Mo Ran was a bit surprised.
"Mr. Fujiwara, what a coincidence." She smiled politely.
Fujiwara Ize’s dark eyes gazed at her without blinking, seemingly with a complex array of emotions.
"Why are you avoiding me? I called you several times these past few days, why didn’t you ever answer?" He asked directly.
Mo Ran paused briefly, her heart involuntarily sighed.

Why did he have to make the atmosphere so tense?
Mo Ran still smiled politely, "Mr. Fujiwara, I think we are just in a partnership. There is no need to talk about anything other than work. Besides, my sister is managing all the work-related matters; I am only responsible for teaching dance."
This dance class, though nominally a joint venture between her and Fujiwara Ize.
Mo Yan was also part of it, effectively acting as Mo Ran’s agent.
Mo Ran was only responsible for teaching dance, everything else was handled by Mo Yan.
Fujiwara Ize smiled slightly, his long, clean fingers tapping lightly on the table, "Can’t we be friends at least?"
"If it’s purely as friends, of course, that’s fine. If you have other intentions, then it’s not." Mo Ran couldn’t help but be honest.
It wasn’t that she was overly suspicious, but Fujiwara Ize’s gaze at her was always unique, making her doubt his intentions.
Besides, he called her almost every day, which was very unusual.
Fujiwara Ize nodded slightly, a faint smile at the corner of his mouth.
"You think I like you?" He asked unexpectedly.
Mo Ran paused, feeling a hint of uncomfortable awkwardness. She tucked her hair behind her ear, "I hope it’s just me being paranoid."
The man nodded again, leaning slightly closer, his extraordinarily handsome face magnified in front of her.
