Chapter 1121: Chapter 1061: Taken Hostage (Part 2)

"Sienna Johnson, are you crazy?"

Adrian Desmond was extremely angry, upset that she didn’t cherish her own life for the sake of a man. Didn’t she know? Noah Phillips was important to him, but she was even more important.

Just thinking about the years Sienna was away made Adrian feel like dying.

"Lucas Robertson, didn’t you hear what I said?" Sienna did not look at Adrian, only at Lucas, commanding him.

"Fine." Lucas raised his handgun, and Adrian used his body to shield the muzzle.

Adrian said, "You think Noah’s life is more important than yours, but your life is more important than mine. If you want to die, let the bullet pass through my body first!"

"Adrian, move!" Sienna shouted.

Night Owl might not release her, but she had to use this suicidal method to force Night Owl to reveal Noah’s whereabouts.

After all, if she died, Night Owl would be doomed as well.

"Won’t move!"

Adrian was very stubborn. Although he usually went along with Sienna on most things, once Adrian set his mind on something, no one could change it.

Night Owl watched the two in front of him, exchanging deep gazes, and felt uncomfortable. A foreign and irritating emotion surged within him.

"Move!" Night Owl shouted at Adrian, his unfamiliar anger bursting forth.

Adrian looked at Sienna, gritted his teeth, and moved aside reluctantly, his gaze still following her.

As she passed by Adrian, Sienna said to him, "I will protect myself, don’t worry about me."

"Wait for me, I will save you." This was Adrian’s promise to Sienna.

"Okay, I’ll be waiting for you!"

Night Owl, impatient with their affection display in front of him, dragged Sienna outside.

They walked out of the interrogation room, only to find themselves surrounded by a circle of police officers. If not for Night Owl holding Sienna hostage, they wouldn’t be able to leave.

"Everyone move away, or I will kill her!" Night Owl aimed the gun at Sienna’s temple, shouting at the Special Police.

Sienna was now extremely regretful, she had been too careless. Noah hadn’t been rescued, and she had gotten herself caught.

As they descended the steps, Sienna missed a step and almost fell, but Night Owl held her tightly by her waist, "Be careful!"

"Tell me, where is Noah?" Sienna revisited the issue.

This time Night Owl didn’t make it difficult for her, "The basement of the old Phillips Family residence."

"Really?" Sienna was reluctant to believe it.

"Believe it or not!"

Sienna shouted at Jack Phillips, "Noah is in the basement of the old Phillips Family residence, hurry and save him!"

She had just finished speaking when Night Owl pushed her into the car, with five Special Police officers boarding two separate vehicles.

Sienna and Night Owl were in the back seat, his gun continually pressed against her head, ensuring her life was at risk if anyone attempted any moves outside.

The car drove away, several police cars trailing from a distance. Night Owl lowered his gun and gently asked, "You don’t look well, scared?"

"..."

"Hehe... aren’t you usually quite bold?"

"Will you release me once you’re safe?"

Night Owl held Sienna’s hand, playing with her fingers and said, "Never!" Tightening his grip after speaking.

Sienna turned her head to look out the window at the street scenery, saying nothing more.

...

The police had deployed all forces to pursue Night Owl, given his status as an internationally wanted criminal.

Adrian was in one of the police cars, closely chasing the black car ahead, focused intensely to avoid losing track.

Riverfront City had good road conditions, unlike Sileria City’s congestion, allowing for smooth driving.

"Lose them!" Night Owl ordered impatiently.

"Yes!"

The speed of the car suddenly increased, causing Sienna to almost hit the front seat, but Night Owl blocked her with an arm held out. Sienna had no intention of thanking him.

The driver was skillful, leaving the police cars behind, with only one police car still closely following.

"Adrian truly is persistent!"

Night Owl turned to look and noticed Adrian in the car chasing them, sitting in the passenger seat, focusing tightly.

"What would it take for you to let me go?" Sienna asked.

Night Owl did not respond.

"Lose him!" Night Owl ordered.

"At this speed, going faster could kill us!" Sienna noted.

The speed continued to increase, and Sienna felt as if the car was beginning to float.

The car was moving at ultra-high speed, and Sienna didn’t understand where they were headed. Considering her current situation, jumping from a speeding car would mean death.

"Are we about to hit the highway? Are you going onto the highway?"

"Yes!"

"And then? Where do you plan to go?"

"You talk too much." Night Owl was annoyed by her chatter but didn’t sound impatient; he enjoyed hearing her speak.

Sienna’s voice was pleasant to listen to, usually gentle and smooth when speaking, clear when angry, and... Night Owl’s favorite was when she spoke with emotion.

"Behave yourself, and I’ll let you go."

Sienna turned to him and said, "You just said you’d never let me go."

"I’ll let you leave for now! I want you to come to me willingly. Ultimately, what I desire is your heart." Night Owl gazed deeply into Sienna’s eyes as he spoke, full of emotion.

"That day will never come!"

"Since childhood, anything I set my sights on, I never failed to get!"

"Night Owl, to you I’m just another thing, aren’t I?"

Because he couldn’t get it, he wanted it. Like a child who isn’t satisfied, always wanting new toys, getting them, only to discard them days later without caring for the abandoned toy’s feelings.

"Don’t belittle yourself like that; you are very attractive to me."

"Can I say I’m very unlucky?" Sienna didn’t see any joy in being targeted by such a pervert.

"Usually women I favor say they’re lucky."

Sienna snorted with laughter.

At the Riverfront City highway toll station, Night Owl’s car directly smashed through the barrier and onto the highway.

Adrian’s car closely followed, continuing the pursuit. After ten minutes on the highway, the gloomy sky began to rain, making the road slippery.

At such speed, a traffic accident would easily happen. Sienna watched Adrian chasing persistently behind and worried for him.

Sienna asked Night Owl, "Can I borrow your phone?"

Sienna’s phone was in her pocket, but she had no intention of using it. Her phone had GPS functionality, crucial for saving her life at the right moment.

"What do you want to do?"

"Help you lose Adrian."
