Chapter 1102: Chapter 1042: The Curly Hitting Incident

Although reluctant to admit it, Sienna Johnson knew that what Adrian Desmond said was true.

Having mingled in the business world for so long, there are too many men who turn bad when they have money.

If the relationship is over, then it’s over, there’s no fault in that.

However, many wealthy men keep mistresses outside, not because of love, but just for the lure of beauty.

"Why aren’t you speaking?"

Adrian knew Sienna was someone who valued face, and realized that his earlier words were a bit too harsh, so he changed his tone, "Alright, all your Orienta men are good men, okay?"

Sienna said angrily, "There are many good men in Orienta, but also many bad ones. What I hate most are those men who, after building a business with their first wife and becoming successful, abandon their wives and marry a young mistress.

They have no morals at all, they’re just rotten."

"Don’t you often say, ’in a big forest, all kinds of birds exist’? Why get angry over such men? It’s not like your husband abandoned you and ran off with a young mistress."

Sienna looked at Adrian, her eyes turning odd, "Adrian, if you ever dare to mess around behind my back, I’ll drug you and have you chemically castrated."

"Sure, go heavy on it, don’t hold back."

Sienna laughed, "I’m serious."

"I’m serious too."

"..."

"Stop talking about useless things, what should I wear?" The topic had drifted, and Adrian’s clothes were still not selected.

Adrian said worriedly, "I feel this outfit is not formal enough, but wearing a suit is too formal and will make me appear less modest."

Sienna looked at the pile of clothes and said, "Keep it simple, you’re already handsome enough. Overdoing it would just be ’adding legs to a drawing of a snake’."

A majestic and well-built body, with a minimalist striped shirt paired with well-fitted suit pants, carved formal leather shoes, a bright leather belt, Sienna held a vintage pair of sunglasses in her hand, Adrian bent down and Sienna put them on him.

"What does ’adding legs to a drawing of a snake’ mean?"

"It means someone intended to draw a snake but meddled by adding four legs to it."

"..."

"Sixth Master looks so handsome, I’m entranced."

Adrian looked at himself in the full-length mirror and asked, "Doesn’t this outfit look a bit girly?"

"I like it!" Sienna placed her hands on Adrian’s chest, stood on tiptoe and kissed him. Adrian held her waist, lifting her up to make it more comfortable for her to kiss.

"Oh dear, I didn’t see anything, you guys continue." Curly barged in and saw a scene not suitable for children.

Curly covered her eyes with her hand, yet peeked through her fingers, obviously spying on her parents kissing.

"School’s out?"

"Yeah." Curly stood there, hands behind her back, rubbing the carpet with her foot, clearly indicating something was up.

"You came to us right after school, is something wrong?"

"Mom, our teacher wants both of you to come to school tomorrow." Curly said in a small voice.

Sienna’s first instinct was that Curly had caused trouble, "Why?"

"I hit someone."

Sienna’s expression darkened immediately, she spoke harshly, "You hit someone? How many times have I told you, how could you hit someone?"

"It was their fault."

"They? You hit more than one?"

Sienna looked at her daughter with disappointment, she didn’t expect Curly to start causing trouble again after being good for some time.

Adrian walked over, squatted down, and asked Curly, "Why did you hit them?"

"Because they were bad people."

"What did they do that made you hit them?"

"They bullied Farrell Harris."

Sienna said angrily, "Even then, you shouldn’t hit people! Regardless of reason, hitting is always wrong. You’re a girl, you especially shouldn’t go around fighting others, how does that look?"

Curly raised her head defiantly, "They bullied him, so I hit them!"

"Jayce!"

Sally was standing at the door, said to Sienna, "Sixth Master, Madam, there’s a father and son pair outside who want to see you."

Sienna looked at her daughter and asked, "See, now that they’ve come to confront us, what will you do about it?"

"I’m not wrong!" Curly said stubbornly.

Sienna twisted Curly’s ear, Curly pushed Sienna, Sienna scolded, "Jayce, do you dare to get physical with me?!"

"I’m not wrong!" Curly shouted at Sienna and ran out.

Sienna took a step to chase but stopped, she lashed out at Adrian, "This is all your fault, look at how you’ve spoiled her rotten, she even dares to talk back to me now."

"She said she wasn’t wrong, why don’t you ask what really happened?" Adrian said.

"It’s always wrong to hit people!"

"Against wicked people, a fist works best."

Adrian believed his daughter wasn’t a bad person, and had a sense of right and wrong. Since she had hit someone, it must be because the other party was at fault.

"No wonder she hit someone, is this how you’ve been teaching her?"

"..."

"Adrian, this is Orienta, not Abyanabad! Can you not use your Abyanabad ways to educate my daughter?!"

When it comes to issues with children, Sienna becomes especially irrational, her eagerness to educate her kids properly makes her a bit impatient.

Adrian said, "I’ll go check on Curly, you go and talk to that child, find out what happened."

With that, Adrian left without looking at Sienna.

"Look at them, father and daughter, each of them, and they think they’re justified?" Sienna was extremely upset.

Sally kept her head down, silent, not daring to interject, knowing that saying anything would surely offend someone.

...

In the living room,

George was accompanying a father-son pair, sitting there waiting. George was well-mannered and warmly hospitable, whereas the two of them kept their heads down, sat with their bottoms barely touching the chairs, looking very restrained.

With Sally accompanying her, Sienna walked in. Seeing the father and son who had come to confront them, she was taken aback.

The boy’s father looked very much like a typical Orienta labor class worker, with large knobby fingers, dirty fingernails, and wore filthy clothes. The boy’s appearance was similar.

They both exuded a long unwashed stench.

Sienna felt very uneasy.

If Curly had hit an arrogant kid from a wealthy family, Sienna wouldn’t be so angry, but Curly had bullied such an timid child.

As Sienna entered, both father and son stood up. Before Sienna could speak, the father started hitting the boy.

"What are you doing?"

"It’s all my son’s fault, I’ll beat him to death!"

Sally hurried up to pull the father away, and George took the opportunity to pull the boy aside.

George explained, "Mother-in-law, this is Farrell Harris, and this is Farrell Harris’s father, Harrison Harris."
