Xu Yisen suddenly realized that this girl wasn’t afraid of him getting angry at all; she just wanted to tease him.
"You’ve been getting bolder lately."
Xu Yisen picked up a tissue and wiped the spot on his cheek where Munni had kissed him, his words carrying a hint of threat.
Munni blinked innocently, her eyes filled with a gentle ripple.
"Where would I dare?"
As the words fell, she leaned over and kissed the other side of Xu Yisen’s cheek.
Xu Yisen was partly amused and partly exasperated by her mischievous behavior, "You little rascal."
He took a tissue again to wipe the other side of his face, mumbling, "I’ll let it go because you’re pretty."
"Since you’re right, I’ll reward you with half a bottle of wine."
"You’re really generous."
"I think so too."
After eating, the two of them put all the empty bottles on the coffee table into a shopping bag and threw it in a garbage bin on the rooftop.
Once they cleaned up the coffee table, they sat for a while before leaving the company to return to the hotel.
Munni couldn’t fall asleep because she ate too much and was worried she might disturb Xu Yisen, so she grabbed a blanket and happily ran to the living room to watch a movie on TV.
Xu Yisen came out of the bathroom after a shower and didn’t see Munni in the room, so he went to the living room and, sure enough, saw her lounging on the sofa watching a comedy.
"Go ahead and sleep; I ate too much and can’t sleep."
Munni waved her hand at Xu Yisen, who had just entered the living room, signaling him not to stay with her.
However, Xu Yisen didn’t return to the room because of her words. Instead, he sat beside her, pulling the blanket covering Munni over them both.
"I’m not sleepy either; I’ll keep you company and watch some TV."
"Aren’t you supposed to attend a meeting at the branch office in the morning? You should go ahead and sleep. Anyway, I can sleep in tomorrow, so staying up late tonight is okay."
"I’ll watch for a while, then go to sleep."
"Alright then."
Seeing his insistence, Munni didn’t say anything else, nodding before leaning on his shoulder to continue watching the movie.
Xu Yisen wasn’t interested in the movie. What intrigued him was the delightful laughter Munni let out every now and then, amused by the comedy in the film.
To Xu Yisen’s ears, that seemed to be the most enchanting melody in the world, her laughter contagiously curling his lips into a smile and filling him with genuine happiness.
Originally, he intended to watch only for a while before going to bed, but in the end, he watched the whole movie with Munni, realizing it was almost one o’clock.
Only then did Munni come to her senses, noticing that Xu Yisen had been accompanying her the entire time.
She quickly turned off the TV and urged, "Hurry up and go back to the room to sleep."
Xu Yisen stood up, lazily stretching, with a casual smile lingering on his elegant brow, "Is Munni that eager to sleep with me?"
Xu Yisen twisted a perfectly ordinary sentence into something more suggestive, leaving Munni amused and exasperated.
She reached out and smacked Xu Yisen’s arm, "Is there anything else on your mind besides sleeping with me day in, day out?"
To Munni’s complaints, Xu Yisen unabashedly replied, "I think sleeping with you is very important, so of course I think about it a lot."
Munni rolled her eyes, taking the lead to walk back to the room, muttering under her breath, "Overindulging in desires like this isn’t good for your health."
