Chapter 28: Heading back upstairs

Raven’s pov

It was hard to listen to Rex raise his voice as he bellowed, explaining to not only Gessia, who had been waiting, but Thor, who had just entered, and Axel, who had followed us down the stairs, how I was a virgin.

Spitting the words out like it was the worst thing a person could be, I could hear the slight outrage in his voice as he spoke, and I stood there desperately hoping that it would be enough for them to find a better punishment for me—something that didn’t involve killing children.

But Rex had barely begun to rant, his voice booming across the hall, when Axel snapped, his gaze filled with anger, hands folded across his torso, sending a glance straight toward me.

"SO!" Anger boomed in his tone. "...if there’s no hole you can rip one open—or don’t you have a cock?" He yelled, and I felt my hands trembling, shifting back behind Rex.

Rex hates me, but it quickly became clear that Axel wanted the worst possible fate for me. Unlike the young man I had met, who had been all smiles and grins, the man who looked at me now seemed nothing short of a monster. His light brown eyes fixed themselves on me as he continued to speak.

"Her punishment is to be used. Pain is part of that," he snapped in anger, even as Thor, the only one to drop into a seat, simply sat and stared among them without opening his mouth. His gaze was blank, with no trace of any emotion whatsoever, even as Rex snapped right back.

"Pain!!! With how huge I am...the tip can’t even go in!" Rex snapped at Axel, taking a step closer to him as he continued, "...it’s not my fault if yours is a tiny branch," which only made Axel growl in anger. He stepped closer to Rex until they were almost chest to chest, muscles rippling underneath their skin as they faced off.

"Maybe you’re just not man enough to mate with the woman like you were supposed to," Axel snapped right back, loud enough for me to glance up from the ground, realizing that it was bound to dissolve into a fight—one I doubted would end in my favor.

My favor would be them somehow letting me go. But I knew that wasn’t going to happen, as Gessia interrupted as loud as she could. "We can’t hurt her!" She snapped in a way that sounded like the other half of the sentence was missing, ’Not yet.’

"Moreover, she’s an omega. She would have no problems down there," she assured them, even as Rex and Axel glared at each other for a while before Rex finally backed off while Axel spoke.

"I just don’t get why we’re still entertaining her! A child takes six months! We might not even have until then before the Moonburn Alpha attacks!" Axel pointed out, even as Gessia quickly answered. "The procedure would be faster once I figure out how it’s done," she responded, in a way that made it clear that she was doing her best to find some middle ground.

Thor, on the other hand, simply continued to sit quietly in his chair, without showing any intention to speak, until right after Gessia had diffused the tension between Rex and Axel—something he hadn’t been willing to do.

"I’m guessing Rex does not want to please her, which is the only way to get her to loosen up," Thor finally spoke, speaking frankly, as my cheeks burned. I lowered my head, wanting to bury it into the ground, as they talked about me without any hesitation, as they talked about mating.

"I’m guessing Axel is also not willing and would simply rip into her," he pointed out, only for the room to go silent at the very next thing he said. "I could do it. I could mate with her and get her to loosen up. I’m not clouded by anger enough to not see the benefits we would get from Gessia’s plan."

"Moreover, Alpha Valon uses it. It’s the only way that explains how his men suddenly became so powerful. You saw it yourselves when we scouted the area out," Thor said, his blond hair glinting vibrantly in the lanterns hung on the wall.

But he had barely finished speaking when Rex was already shaking his head, even as Axel shrugged. It didn’t matter to him as long as someone did it.

"I’m the eldest," Rex barked, even as they all collectively rolled their eyes like it wasn’t the first time they had heard it. Moreover, with the different shades of their hair, it was clear that even if they had the same father, there was no way they also had the same mothers.

Rex’s hair was black, Axel’s was red, and Thor’s was blond.

"...I have to be first," Rex snapped, and this time even Thor showed hints of his own anger as he rose from his chair and snapped right back with a low growl from his throat. "...Then act like it!"

"Swallow your anger, bed her properly, and have her conceive. Moreover, I heard some omegas also have pheromones that they use to attract men, just like ours is used to make others submit to us," Thor pointed out.

Gessia had been a bit quiet, but at that point she also spoke up. "If you can’t do it, then it’s better to let Thor," not pointing at Axel, thankfully, whose thought alone made me tremble from head to toe. The challenge seemed to piss Rex off even more, as he collectively glared at all of them.

"Fine! I’ll do it," he snapped as he turned to grab my hands before racing up the stairs in anger, pulling me beside him. I followed silently, knowing better than to make a sound—one that would only piss him off more than he already was.

"Try not to break her!" Gessia seriously yelled as I jerked back while being dragged not sure if Rex heard her as he dragged me up the stairs much quicker than he should.
