Chapter 69: Added benefits during cultivation

After leaving Erica’s office, Klein headed straight toward the Student Council building.

The campus was still buzzing with excitement about the Saintess’s arrival, but Klein’s mind was focused on one thing, settling the score with Ji Shenyi, the disciple of Shui Yinran.

’Now that I think of it, in my past life many sword geniuses were from the murim side.’

The Student Council building was a grand structure near the center of the academy.

As Klein walked through the entrance, several students glanced at him curiously.

He found Evelyne in her office on the upper floor. She was reviewing some documents when he entered.

"Senior Evelyne. Let’s go to the main Student Council room."

Evelyne looked up and smiled faintly "Remember, this will be formal. Ji Shenyi is the Vice-President, so the other members will be there too."

They walked together to the main Student Council meeting room. When they entered, several members were already present, including Ji Shenyi herself.

Looking at the beautiful young woman with sharp features and long black hair tied in a high ponytail, he smiled ’That’s Ji Shenyi I assume.’

Sitting beside her were the Secretary and Treasurer of the Student Council.

Looking at Evelyne entering, everyone stood up "President."

With a nod, she gestured towards Klein "I’ve brought Klein Faress. He wishes to issue an official challenge to Vice-President Ji Shenyi."

The room fell into a brief, stunned silence before Ji Shenyi let out a cold laugh.

"Ah, so it was you... I saw the proposition. A fight in pure spear skills, huh?"

She looked at Klein up and down with a smirk "You’ve got a nice face. But it’s a shame... a mere F-rank from the Spirit Division. How amusing."

Klein met her gaze calmly, "No need for chit chat. Just accept the challenge."

Ji Shenyi’s eyes narrowed. "Fine. If you want to embarrass yourself in front of the entire academy, I’ll accept. I’ll make sure everyone sees how pathetic you are."

He smiled faintly. "Let’s see how it goes."

As he turned to leave, Ji Shenyi spoke again "In the proposition, it was said that mana use is prohibited and you can only use spear skills. But I will allow you to use mana. That much should be done to at least make this fight somewhat fair."

Klein paused at the door and glanced back at her, "How generous of you. Just make sure you don’t regret giving me that freedom."

Ji Shenyi’s expression darkened, but she didn’t respond. The Secretary quickly stepped in to finalize the details.

"The duel will be held in the main arena tomorrow afternoon. Mana usage is permitted only for Klein Faress as per Ji Shenyi’s request."

"The Student Council will oversee the match to ensure it follows academy rules. Betting will be handled through official channels."

The news spread like wildfire across the academy. By the end of the day, almost every student had heard about the upcoming duel between Klein Faress and Ji Shenyi.

As the Vice-President of the Student Council, Ji Shenyi was naturally popular among students.

She was known for her exceptional spear skills and her close connection to the Head of the Spear Division, Shui Yinran.

Many students admired her strength and status, and she had a large following, especially within the Combat Division.

When they heard that a first-year who awakened a Mythic-rank class wants to fight her, the entire Combat Division erupted in excitement.

"Did you hear? That new Mythic-rank guy from the Spirit Division challenged Ji Shenyi!"

"No way! He’s only F-rank! Is he crazy?"

"But he has a Mythic-rank class. Maybe he’s stronger than he looks."

In the cafeteria, groups of students debated the outcome over dinner.

The soft light of the Spirit Realm filtered through the windows of the wooden house, casting a gentle glow over the interior.

Klein sat cross-legged on the large bed, wearing only his pants.

His upper body was bare, revealing the muscles, and his eyes were closed in deep concentration as he cultivated.

The two mana cores within him glow steadily, drawing in the dense mana of the Spirit Realm.

Behind him, Orpheus sat with her body pressed gently against his back.

Her arms were wrapped around his bare torso, hugging him from behind in a warm hug.

Her long green hair spilled over his shoulder as she rested her chin on him, her hands slowly stroking his chest and abs in slow, soothing circles.

The two of them remained like that for a long time, with Klein cultivating and Orpheus hugging him from behind.

After a while, Orpheus placed a soft kiss on the back of his neck.

Orpheus smiled against his skin and her green eyes were half-lidded with affection as she continued.

She moved lower and her lips found a spot on the side of his neck as she sucked on his skin, swirling her tongue around the area.

She sucked harder with her mouth, creating a gentle vacuum as she left a faint hickey on his neck, leaving a small, reddish mark that stood out against his skin.

Orpheus pulled back slightly, admiring the mark she had left as she ran her fingers over it.

With a soft smile she leaned in again, kissing the hickey gently before moving to another spot on his neck.

She licked and sucked there too, leaving another faint mark as she raised her hand, squeezing his chest.

Orpheus’s thoughts were filled with desire as she continued.

Her long green hair spilled over his shoulder, tickling his skin as she moved to a new spot on the other side of his neck.

Hearing Elfaria’s voice, Orpheus was startled.

She pulled back from Klein’s neck and her eyes widened slightly as she turned toward the doorway.

She was so focused on his body that she didn’t even realize a presence entering the Spirit Realm.

Elfaria quickly walked in and looked Orpheus with narrowed eyes "What is happening here?" she asked, clearly demanding an explanation.

Orpheus had a motherly smile on her face as she replied, "Just helping my child cultivate."

Elfaria’s lips twitched and her gaze flickered between the faint red marks on Klein’s neck and Orpheus’s innocent-looking expression.

"In which world does a mother help her child by giving him hickeys? You damned woman."

Orpheus hurriedly shushed her, placing a finger on her lips "Shh, he is cultivating. Don’t raise your voice."

Elfaria lowered her voice, though her tone remained accusatory.

"Don’t shush me! I came here to check on him, and I find you sucking on his neck like a darn teenager! Mother, have you no shame?"

Orpheus chuckled softly with her arms still wrapped around Klein’s bare torso.

She rested her chin on his shoulder again, looking at Elfaria with a playful, unrepentant smile.

"It’s for his cultivation," she said innocently. "Skin contact helps stabilize the energy flow. The hickeys are... an added benefit."

Elfaria’s cheeks flushed with a mix of embarrassment and jealousy.

She walked closer to the bed as she pointed at the marks on Klein’s neck.

"Added benefit? Bullshit! You’re leaving marks on him like you’re claiming territory! He’s not just your ’child’ he’s my husband!"

Orpheus tilted her head, still smiling. "Then let’s say he’s my dear one too."

Elfaria huffed and sat down on the bed beside Klein, leaning against his other side.

"Come in line, I am his first wife."

She wrapped her arms around his waist and tried to pry off Orpheus’ hands "Fine. But I’m joining too. If you’re going to ’help’ him cultivate, then so am I."

Orpheus just kissed his neck "By all means. Make yourself comfortable."

Elfaria blushed deeply as she looked at his peaceful face, her heart racing with a mix of nervousness and longing.

She leaned forward slowly, her silver hair falling ahead as her lips brushed against his throat.

She kissed him softly at first, pressing her lips gently against the warm skin just above his collarbone.

The contact sent a small shiver through her own body.

Then she kissed him again and her lips parted slightly as she sucked gently on the same spot, drawing the skin into her mouth and leaving a faint red mark.

She moved higher, trailing slow kisses along the side of his neck.

She sucked on a particularly sensitive spot just below his jawline, applying a little more pressure this time, leaving a more noticeable hickey.

Klein stirred slightly in his cultivation state and an unconscious sound escaped his lips, but he remained deeply focused.

Elfaria’s cheeks burned with embarrassment and excitement.

She continued her affectionate assault, kissing, licking, and sucking along his neck and collarbone.

Her hands roamed his bare chest, tracing the lines of his muscles as she pressed closer to him.

She licked a slow, wet trail from the base of his throat up to his jaw, then sucked on the skin just beneath his ear, leaving another mark.

Her breathing was slightly heavier now, her silver hair brushing against his shoulder as she nuzzled into him.

’T-This is addicting...’ she thought, her mind hazy with affection. ’I’ve wanted to do this for so long... Irakiel... I love you so much.’

Drunk on the pleasure of the moment, her gaze flickered to his lips, and her heart raced even faster.

’His lips... those soft lips... I want them...’

Elfaria’s cheeks burned with a deep blush as she stared at his mouth.

She hesitated for only a second before leaning in closer, her lips hovering just above his lips.

She could feel his warm breath against her skin.

Without waiting, she pressed her lips against his in a soft, tentative kiss.

The contact sent a shiver through her entire body.

She stayed there, savoring the warmth and softness of his lips as her own lips trembled slightly from the intensity of her emotions.

Her lips closed around his lower lip, sucking on it gently before pulling it into her mouth and savoring the taste of him.

Elfaria held it for a few seconds, brushing her tongue lightly over the captured lip before she released it with a soft, wet sound.

She then moved to his upper lip, sucking on it with the same gentle intensity.

She nibbled on it lightly with her teeth and licked the spot soothingly afterward, tracing her tongue on the curve of his upper lip.

Sucking on his lower lip gently, she kissed the corner of his mouth, his jaw, and back to his neck, leaving more marks as she went.

Meanwhile, Orpheus just sat there dumbfounded looking at Elfaraia’s passionate kisses.
