Chapter 439: Chapter 439 - Episode 059: I said Don’t Go (2)

Glenn Hutchinson looked at her coldly, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes. Clearly, he did not understand why Flossie Wright had suddenly changed the subject and what she was planning.

Silence meant consent. Flossie did not continue their stalemate. She raised her hand to push him back slightly. Her fist tightened as she raised her hand, she signaled to him: "Best two out of three."

Flossie always liked to dominate people in a tough way. But when there was endless internal disagreement, she didn’t bother to reason or persuade. Without the certainty of persuading people, she usually resolved issues in this way.

Although, it occasionally made people both laugh and cry.

However, if they really were in a battlefield filled with guns and bullets, so-called abilities would not be much of use. Because weapons do not distinguish. Even if your plan is perfect, there will always be all kinds of accidents in battle.

No one in their team would object to this method.

Because, luck might give you a glimmer of hope to survive in a seemingly inevitable death situation.

Flossie never regretted her death in her previous life, even though she actually could have survived.

Glenn Hutchinson’s expression shifted slightly as he inspected Flossie’s face up close. Her narrow eyes were calm, and her expression was so indifferent that there was no emotional fluctuation.

It seemed that she didn’t care at all, or more accurately, that she was confident. She believed she wouldn’t sacrifice here.

Theoretically, Glenn Hutchinson never made decisions in such a casual way.

In the Forces, he held the lives of many brothers and couldn’t easily make decisions about life and death. He could not let his brothers die for nothing, so he would choose a complete method. Although many times his actions were seen by others as crazy, compared to Flossie, he could be considered cautious.

However, Glenn Hutchinson was eventually persuaded by Flossie’s self-confident gaze.

It was a blatantly defiant look, unstoppable and unshakeable. It was rare that she could give you this opportunity.

"What do you propose?"

Lowering his hand, Glenn Hutchinson was still frowning, he sternly asked Flossie.

"..."

Flossie corners of her mouth twitched, quite speechless, she rolled her eyes at him.

Regardless of Glenn Hutchinson’s grievances, the best two out of three was inevitable.

Two minutes later, Flossie walked out of the kitchen door satisfied, leaving Glenn Hutchinson standing where he was filled with resentment, watching her relaxed and casual leaving figure.

As for Kirana Williams and little Hutchinson, who had been observing the situation in the kitchen all along, their gaze turned once again to the direction of the television when the kitchen door was opened. Fortunately, the television had already been turned on, only there was just an advertisement playing.

"What is this?"

As Flossie approached the sofa and glanced at the TV screen, she recognized the familiar face and paused curiously, looking towards Kirana Williams and little Hutchinson.

"That’s our Flynn Reid," catching sight of the advertisement still playing, Kirana immediately understood what Flossie was asking about. She affectionately patted little Hutchinson’s head, "Glenn has a friend working in the Entertainment Circle who saw Flynn while shooting the advertisement. He thought Flynn was suitable and asked him to join."

Looking at Kirana’s expression of "it must have been hard for you, child", Flossie felt faintly exasperated.

However, Flossie didn’t probe further. After all, she had never been involved in Entertainment Circle matters. She did see a lot of celebrities involved in drug and crime. From the outside, it might look glamorous, but in reality, it had its fair share of shady and unsavory occurrences. It was indeed not suitable for a child of little Hutchinson’s status and age to get involved.
