Chapter 1064: Chapter 1064: Like Eating Sugar (2)_1

That sharp chin could practically stab someone to death.

But—

Flossie Wright and Belinda Nichols weren’t in much better shape.

Compared to three months ago, they had both lost at least ten pounds.

"Hey, do you think," Becca Reyes leaned in again, squinting her eyes, "those previous instructors, each and every one of them, were practically killers. Now this new female captain... could she be too kind?"

"So that’s why you just noticed her now."

Flossie responded indifferently, and turned to walk directly towards Dormitory 105.

They were supposed to switch dorms at noon, so it was time to pack their luggage.

Becca Reyes, on the other hand, just grabbed her hair in confusion, unable to grasp Flossie’s implication.

What does that mean—

So that’s why you just noticed her now?

Absolutely nonsensical.

Belinda Nichols entered the dorm first, followed closely by Becca Reyes, and soon after, the person distributing the goods arrived.

Since Jessie Grain and Mariana Buck were out for breakfast and not in the dorm, Becca Reyes took it upon herself to bring their belongings inside.

"Holy shit."

The moment she brought Mariana Buck’s items in, Becca Reyes couldn’t help but blurt out in astonishment.

Flossie and Belinda looked over.

They saw that the zipper of the backpack had burst open, several military knives had fallen out, and even more could be vaguely seen within the open zipper section.

"Flossie, she has even more than you do."

Becca exclaimed in amazement, blinking before squatting down to pick up the knives.

Even someone as clueless as she was could tell that the military knives in the backpack were just as good as Flossie’s.

So Mariana Buck was a knife enthusiast too?

No wonder she was so focused on Flossie’s knives when they had been checked earlier.

Flossie glanced a few times.

She quickly shifted her gaze away. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

Although she was interested in military knives and trusted Mariana’s taste, she had no interest in snooping through someone else’s things without the owner present.

It was only because Becca Reyes had her hands full that she had accidentally opened the zipper.

Being well-educated, Becca had no intention of prying further; she promptly zipped up the bag and tossed it onto Mariana’s bed.

However, while dealing with her own belongings, she still occasionally glanced over at it.

"Charge, charge," Becca Reyes moved her arms, opened her own backpack, and flipped out all her electronic devices.

There were many of them.

Cellphone, tablet, laptop, PSP...

Oh, and a few power banks.

But aside from her cellphone, she rarely used the others.

Belinda just had one phone.

Flossie had two phones.

Compared to them, Becca Reyes truly seemed poor.

The three put what needed charging onto charge, but Becca Reyes’s stuff wouldn’t fit into one socket, so she ended up occupying an outlet from both Flossie and Belinda.

After sorting that out, they began packing their luggage.

Clothes, bedding, daily necessities—all were neatly organized.

Then—

When Jessie Grain and Mariana Buck entered, the first thing they saw was the empty beds, which immediately gave them a strange sense of dissonance.

"Have you already started?"

Scanning the dorm, Jessie Grain asked with a smile and a friendly tone.

"Mm."

It was Becca Reyes who replied to her.

"Did you guys bring these in?" Jessie Grain caught a glimpse of the bags on the beds and seemed slightly surprised. After asking, she added politely, "Thanks."

"It was nothing."
