In the infinite darkness of death called the abyss Ryan’s soul floated aimlessly alone and devoid of life and emotions, whispers of madness could be heard now and then as other entities had it for there residence.

" A human, last time I checked they were the reason we were casted into this desolate place " a female voice said, " Ah Lilith senpai this is a pure master piece, he has killed more people than I have... A pure devil in human flesh. " another manly voice boomed before breaking into a wild laughter.

Ryan’s disheveled soul didn’t mind and kept floating without a care in the world, but more off those voices continued for a long time till Ryan slowly began loosing sanity.

*******

SOMEWHERE IN THE ABYSS

" Pamon my package has arrived go fetch it for me would you " a calm boyish voice said from the top of a colossal monolith made of skulls of unknown creatures.

Normally it would be impossible for such a low voice to reach that extent but it did, it was then the darkness revealed a humanoid creature which bowed at the foot of this skull mountain , the only difference between it and a human was it’s bat like wings.

Pamon simply nodded and took off at astonishing speed that the eye of a superhuman who could run at light speed would say he teleported while it was his raw speed.

He traversed the abyss looking for anything strange and unusual but all he saw was the usual occurrence of devils fight for more power and growing stronger.

" Hey Pamon my man come spar with me " a four armed bulky devil said with a water filled cup in it’s hand, " Don’t despised me Malki, have you seen a human around this parts " Pamon said his voice booming with damnation while still flapping his wings to keep himself afloat.

" Yeah Asmodeus and Lilith took him to show him to give him the grand tour " Malki said, " Oh you thick skulled devilizen of the abyss " Pamon said with a smirk on his face before flying off.

Soon he was back with Ryan’s distorted wavering soul in his hand, " Pamon, The fact you can cross the abyss in an instant despite being the weakest devil is quite awe-inspiring " the boyish voice said.

Pamon fell on one knee bowing to the skull mountain, " You may leave " the voice said finally in a more manly hoarse voice, " Yes lord " he said and vanished leaving Ryan and a soul crushing aura that emitted from the top of the mountain.

* CRUNCH *

The sound of crushing skulls filled Ryan’s inexistent ears and his inexistent legs quivered as the aura started getting unbearable but suddenly lessened.

Ryan looked up and his eyes met with a pair of frightening crimson eyes staring at him with a smirk spread across a handsome face, " Hello Ryan Clinton, I am Parezel Nightsun " he said stretching his palm towards Ryan for a handshake.

Looking at him, Parezel’s strength couldn’t be matched, he was accoutered in a shiny black armor with a navy blue cape that seemed to be drawing energy from the abyss and on his waist lay a sheathed steadfast katana, a diamond shaped crystal pendant was embedded into the chest piece of his armor and Ryan was sure it was a pillar of infinity because of a symbol that swirled in it.

Ryan was dumbfounded what the fuck was happening, who the fuck are all this creatures and why was he here, " Ouch... You just left me hanging, and normally I don’t like that kind of disrespect " Parezel said as he withdrew his hand.

" Well let’s cut to the chase, I want you to take my place, power and domain " He blurted, Ryan just stood sheepishly with his inexistent legs mopping at this teenage sized deity.

" Why " Ryan questioned after some minutes of mopping, " I don’t have enough time for explanation but you are the only one compatible with my blood and abilities due to your max accumulation of negative karma you are the perfect match".

" In your seventeen years of life you killed twelve million people..., That’s quite a lot if you ask me " Parezel said to the now shell shocked Ryan who had his mouth wide open when he heard his kill count.

" Impossible " he muttered inaudibly.

" Don’t believe me I could have shown it to you but my time is running out, there is a world in need of your help and your the only one who can save it ".

" It could have been my job but I was sealed to only be able to live a million years but when I transfer my power to you the seal shall be lifted and you shall achieve the Immortality I was supposed to get " Parezel said.

" You are only telling me the bright side what about the cons and what the fuck are you" Ryan retorted undetermined to be played.

" Ohh I only told you my name well I am the personification of the Abyss, Chaos and Infinity, the Unparalleled ruler over the supreme devils, so just take my power and do as you are told " Parezel said, " Something fishy is going on and you must tell me before doing the shit you want to do let me know what am dealing with " Ryan said.

" JUST TAKE IT AND DO AS YOU ARE TOLD, GO PROTECT A FUCKIN PLANET FROM MY FUCKIN SISTER " Parezel screamed destroying Ryan’s soul instantly.

Looking at Ryan’s fading soul he sighed recollecting his wasted breath, ’ Create ’ he muttered and Ryan’s soul revived to it’s original from.

" Look ", Parezel began, " Our ominverse as we know it is at stake of being destroyed by my power hungry sister the goddess of conquest and I can’t fight her ".

" Not because am not powerful enough, I am infinitely more powerful than her although she is my elder but I can’t fight her for I have been sealed by her father to not be able to fight her ".

" She and the order of nine supreme fiends have been slowly devouring planets I created and are growing stronger and larger, these are things The Supreme Trinity assigned me to create and watching someone destroy it is very painful ".

" All those creatures I created are dieing slowly and joining her army, your brother Ryder is one of the deities capable of stopping her and if you don’t help me you will seize to exist and your brother the only thing you love will die like a nasty pig, so please Ryan help me " Parezel pleaded as tears cascaded his face.

" I will do it only for my brother and to forgive myself of my sins, sate that’s all I wanted to hear, so do what you must " Ryan said, Parezel smiled and stabbed his index finger into Ryan’s head.

Ryan blanked out as abyss energy surged into his body, not only abysmal but infinity and chaos energy fused with his very being, ’ He is really strong am so glad I chose him " Parezel said to himself as he found Ryan able to contain all those energy.

Moments later the abyss began to quake and tears of reality occurred, the entire abyssal realm was being sucked into Ryan’s body as screams of devils echoed through his ears, unknown memories surged through his brain and his wavering soul cracked, the power was too much.

* VROOM *

In an instant Ryan opened his eyes finding himself in a plain grassland beautiful and calm for once his soul was at peace, fresh breeze blew through his hair and his body temperature dropped.

A hand finally gripped his shoulder waking him from his fantasies of peace, He turned around and meet Parezel smiling at him, now he wasn’t in his armor he was donned in a normal white shirt and black pants.

" This is the end for me but the beginning of you, I have given you a hundred percent of the Systems power, use it well and one day we shall meet in the afterlife, for now depart and redeem yourself from damnation " Parezel said before vanishing leaving Ryan alone.

" Well that was eventful " Ryan said before falling to an unnoticed portal that appeared underneath him.

Minimizing the sound of his footsteps, Marcus prayed in his heart that he wouldn’t be caught. Clutching his bleeding arm, he walked down the steps to the upper floor of the mall.

His survival plummeted each second, he couldn’t hear a thing at the moment. A blood trail was slowly killing his cover. Now adrenaline was completely gone, the pain slammed into him with full force.

Nevertheless his mind was fixated on a single goal, which was finding medical supplies before his mana ran out and his ability deactivated.

At the bottom of the stairs, he leaned on the wall for support and walked over to the room at the end of the short narrow hall way.

There was barely any light but due to his experience back before the apocalypse, he knew he was headed for the janitors office.

Twisting the door knob, he made he was in any began opening the drawers. He searched through the items with touch alone and when he didn’t find what he was looking for, he switched to the next drawer.

Moments later he had found what he was looking for, a flashlight. Switching it on, the batteries were dead. So he had to search for another two minutes till he found some working batteries.

Now armed with a flashlight, he pointed at the four walls around him and saw a fading sheet of paper pasted on the wall. "The building structure." Mentally Marcus marked the places he was headed and where he was likely to find trouble.

"Too bad, I doesn’t explicitly show where the medical pharmacy is." Leaving the janitors office, he walked into the second hallway leading to the staff compartment. He needed nothing there so he walked on to the stairs of the first floor.

A place where everything mattered. Descending with some much effort to not make a single sound he was soon standing in-between empty wooden shelves.

Holding his dagger up to his chest, he advanced slowly, taking care not to make a single noise. Walking to the end of the first aisle, he bent to his knees and looked beyond the shelves.

Eight shelves away, two men were casually chatting, wearing ragged clothing and carrying sticks. They sat on crates, one leaning on the wall, the other leaning on a shelves. Marcus couldn’t hear what they were saying,
