Mobilizing the Four Extremes Heavenly Pillars to draw upon the power of heaven and earth to break through the fabric of the universe cannot last long; it may change over time, and the rift might seal in the next moment.
Therefore—
Emperor Xi lightly waved his hand, sending a True Spirit into the mortal world, then resolutely embarked on this predestined path of death, taking the Emperor Huang Dao Fruit and the Xuanyuan Sword with him.
His figure disappeared into the void behind the rift.
It was at this moment that Jiang Li spoke, "I no longer have a backup plan. This time, Emperor Xi's skills are superior. However—"
"The victor is me."
"Two First Grade are required to balance me, and might even help the Wa Emperor break free and advance. Three First Grade could suppress my Dao Fruit Divine Power."
But now, there is only one First Grade, and it's the newly advanced Shakyamuni Tathagata.
"Let Emperor Xi go ahead."
······
······
The rift slowly sealed, and Emperor Xi stepped beyond the long river, becoming a "fish" momentarily leaping out of the water.
He looked down, seeing all things transform before him, eventually forming a long river that flowed from the infinitely distant to the endlessly profound.
In his perception, heaven and earth became a long river, constantly rushing forward, while the past river seemed to be in motion, yet remained frozen like ice on the surface.
"My understanding of time has extended into understanding heaven and earth," Emperor Xi murmured.
Neither time nor heaven and earth have fixed forms. But when there is a presence to perceive them, they transform into the most comprehensible forms to the observer.
Just as the Dao Fruit imparts information to its bearer in the most familiar way they know, so too do time and heaven and earth.
In other words, the Dao is like this.
The Dao is everywhere, in the highest skies, beneath the Nine Earths, within all things in the world, even amidst dirt and filth.
Heaven and earth, time also are the Dao, and their forms depend on everyone who seeks to understand the Dao.
With Emperor Xi's wisdom, he immediately understood everything, but he had no time to delve deeper, for he must implement his plan.
On this long river, time holds no meaning, but its significance lies in the value bestowed by people.
Emperor Xi rushed towards the past, heading to the void left by the liberation of The Three Pure Ones, which can also be measured in terms of time.
Emperor Xi only temporarily leaped out of the river; he inevitably will fall back, and before he does, he possesses another kind of "time."
Thus, it must be quick.
Emperor Xi raised his hand, restoring the rift completely, sealing shut the void, thereby cutting off his own retreat.
"Jiang Li uses the power of heaven and earth as his source. To transcend, he would face the same challenges as The Three Pure Ones. I can briefly leap out of the river, but Jiang Li cannot."
For Jiang Li is a much larger fish than Emperor Xi, and the path Emperor Xi takes would block Jiang Li.
At least, the current Jiang Li would be blocked. He cannot create a gap wide enough for himself to pass through.
And the future Jiang Li, the "End of Dharma," can achieve this, but coming from the future to the present is impossible.
Even if the "End of Dharma" has occurred, because they leap from different points in the river, Emperor Xi's leap in time will be earlier than the future Jiang Li's.
The future Jiang Li will be behind Emperor Xi, so as long as Emperor Xi is not delayed, he will reach the past "time" before the "End of Dharma."
Thinking this way, Emperor Xi involuntarily glanced towards the future.
For if the future hadn't changed, he should be able to see the figure of the "End of Dharma" on the river.
However······
Emperor Xi did not see the "End of Dharma," only the void.
