Chapter 677: Chapter 677: A Woman’s Intuition 1

President Shi Mai’er smiled and introduced, "This is my daughter, Shana. Shana, this is Mr. Lu, and beside him is Mrs. Lu. They are the ones who saved my life during my visit to Country Z."

Shana laughed lightly and bowed, exhibiting the standard etiquette of S Country, with her hands together and a slight curtsy.

Then, she said, "So it was Mr. and Mrs. Lu who saved my father; indeed, you are honored guests of the President’s Mansion."

As she spoke, Shana’s beautiful eyes looked at Lu Jihan, her face still maintaining the previous smile.

Perhaps it was due to a woman’s intuition, Song Yinyin noticed a look in Shana’s eyes, one that only appears when a woman admires a man.

Her eyes seemed to be filled with stars, shimmering brightly.

Song Yinyin instinctively turned to glance at Lu Jihan, who merely smiled back, courteously returning the gesture.

"Miss Shana, you’re too kind."

Next, President Shi Mai’er invited Lu Jihan and Song Yinyin to dine.

The dining area was not indoors but in the back garden, featuring a typical pagoda-style pavilion, with various S Country delicacies and local fruits already arranged on the table below.

"Come, come, Mr. Lu, Mrs. Lu, please have a seat here," President Shi Mai’er warmly invited.

Holding hands, Lu Jihan and Song Yinyin sat to the right of President Shi Mai’er, with Lu Jihan sitting right next to him.

As for his daughter Shana, she sat on the right side of President Shi Mai’er, almost directly opposite Lu Jihan.

There were dozens of bodyguards in President Shi Mai’er’s household, and even during lunch, more than a dozen surrounded the area.

And beside Shana, there was also a personal guard.

President Shi Mai’er enthusiastically said, "Please, don’t feel constrained. Since you’re my invited guests, treat this as your own home and feel at ease."

He then looked at Shana and said, "Shana, why don’t you introduce Mr. and Mrs. Lu to some of our S Country delicacies?"

Turning back to Lu Jihan and Song Yinyin, he added, "My daughter is a food connoisseur with her own culinary column, and she knows our S Country cuisine inside out. Feel free to ask her anything."

It was evident that President Shi Mai’er was very fond of his daughter, given how often he mentioned her.

Song Yinyin recalled Shawei’er’s remark that Miss Shana was hard to please, with a temperamental nature fit for a diva. But to her, Shana appeared generous and graceful, not as Shawei’er had described.

Shana smiled and pointed to the dish in the middle, which was served on a plate the size of a drum, and explained:

"This dish is the main course of our S Country, made from fish and duck meat, along with various spices unique to S Country, and complemented with vegetables. The key to enjoying this dish is the dip."

Shana pointed to the dipping sauce in front of everyone, listing many spices unfamiliar to Song Yinyin.

Curious, Song Yinyin bent down to sniff it, finding the aroma indeed appetizing.

"Amu, lend me your knife for a moment," Shana suddenly turned and said to her attendant.

The handsome attendant handed over a curved knife.

Song Yinyin was quite puzzled, not knowing what Shana intended to do with the knife.

Shana skillfully used the knife to cut the fish and duck meat into evenly sized pieces, placing them onto everyone’s plates.
