"My ankle is sprained!" Mu Mian crouched down, clutching her foot tightly with both hands, her face contorted in pain. "It hurts so much!"

Rat shot him a disdainful glance and sneered, "Aren’t you heartbroken for her? Carry her on your back then."

"This slope is so steep! Sure, I can carry Mianmian, but if her ankle isn’t treated now, the consequences will be serious!" Lin Sheng said anxiously.

"Exactly!" Yan Ye eyed Mu Mian’s ankle. "It looks like the bone is dislocated. It needs to be set back into place!"

"You heard that? Then go ahead!" Rat lowered his head, pulling a cigarette box out of his pocket. He lit a cigarette, took a drag, and started smoking.

"She’s not a doctor! Do you think setting a bone is something just anyone can do?" An Hao said with a frown.

"Stop pretending. Don’t think I don’t know what you’re really thinking," Rat sneered, his lips curling. "You’re just hoping I’ll untie you so you can grab the chance to escape, aren’t you? Let me tell you—dream on!"

"I wouldn’t escape on my own. If I escape, it’d be all three of us together! I’d never leave anyone behind! Unlike you—your companion gets hurt, and one after another, you act indifferent! Do you think it has nothing to do with you? If her leg is injured, it means she’ll slow down! If she slows down, your whole group slows down! And on the run, what does a slower group mean?" An Hao’s tone was calm, imbued with an undertone of persuasion.

She was pressing them to realize the consequences of not treating Mu Mian’s ankle injury.

Rat slapped him across the face, too, without hesitation. "In my eyes, all of you are just soldiers! I hate soldiers! Don’t you fucking lecture me about women or no women!"

Lu Doctor pursed his lips, his fists clenched tightly, but he still didn’t make a move.

In this kind of situation, if they wanted to win, he knew he had to bide his time and pick his moment carefully.

Once everyone grew quiet, Rat finally holstered his gun at his waist and walked over to An Hao to untie her wrists. "You do it. You treat her injured foot."

"I can’t! I’m not an orthopedic doctor!" An Hao refused coldly.
