"Those are just groundless rumors, not to be believed!" the leader declared loudly, "The Guardian God knows very well how strong the Land of Chaos is. If they fight us head-on, they might win, but not without paying a steep price. We stay here, not opposing them, and everyone remains at peace. That’s the best outcome. They only covet the outside Great World; the Land of Chaos holds no significance for them. They have no need to assault the Land of Chaos. Why would they eradicate us, paying such a high price to attack the Land of Chaos?"
"Then how do you explain this time on the Spiritual Birth Day, no Spiritual Sources emerged?" Su Yang asked again.
"This is just a coincidence; there must be some issue in the Spirit Birthplace. Maybe if we send someone in to investigate, we can figure it out. Perhaps we’ll even discover the source of these Spiritual Sources, solving the problem of scarcity in the Land of Chaos once and for all," the leader eloquently speculated.
"Is that so?" Su Yang laughed again, "If that’s the case, why don’t you go investigate now and see what’s truly happening? Once you clear it up and are certain it’s not the Guardian God’s doing, we can discuss this matter further. How about that?"
The leader widened his eyes, "Why should I go investigate? Why don’t you investigate?"
"Simply because I believe it’s the Guardian God’s plot, and you don’t!" Su Yang’s voice turned cold, "You’ve repeatedly defended the Guardian God; I have reason to suspect you’re in cahoots with the Guardian God, perhaps an undercover spy placed among us by the Guardian God. Therefore, I ask you to investigate this matter; you should at least provide us with an answer!"
"Utter nonsense!" the leader shouted, "You claim I’m the Guardian God’s spy. I could just as easily say the same about you. Since when did the Demon Beast Clan have spies for the Guardian God? But as for your Human Clan, many have defected to the Guardian God and become Beast Tamers. If anyone has spies, it’s most likely your Human Clan!"
"Ha! The Demon Beast Clan really isn’t in league with the Guardian God?" Su Yang retorted coldly, "If there’s no alliance with the Guardian God, then why the need for Beast Tamers?"
"You..." The leader was at a loss for words, unsure how to respond.
At this moment, another leader beside him spoke gravely, "Su Alliance Leader, I want to know, how much Spiritual Source can you provide to us?"
